MB Club Black is one of my few 9 club frags. I love it!

I have both and I LOVE both. Not sure why so many people seem to compare them though. To my nose, Althaïr would be more unisex than Club Black, more gourmand with that praline note, less smoky and less synthetic. More expensive for sure (I could buy 3 Club Black for the same price I bought mine, which was already a great deal on it) but more expensive smelling too. More addictive and longer lasting as well. Atomiser is much better too. I love the design of the Club-Black bottle better though. But again, I love both and I'm happy to use both almost equally.
havent tried altair but I have mercedes club black and it is BEAUTIFUL...easily one of my favourites!
i have both and they are my favs. althair smells more unique imo. you should try it out

I actually get amazing performance from club black, but rasasi hawas for example lasts 20mins for me. Skin chemistry is fascinating
20 minutes? Nose fatigue, maybe?
I own both, since Vanilla is easily my favorite note . PDM altahir is my signature scent ( replaced Layton, yes Im a HUGE PDM frag head fan ) , MB Black is amazing , unique , yet has a different take than Altahir, they have some notes in common but have completely taken different directions, especially in the mid and drydown.
As for longevity , no brainer, ( believe it or not) both are HUGE , last for hours. I have smelled Altahir on my skin the day after ( more than 12 hours). as for MB black, 8 hours top.
I think MB black is more mass appealing , since Altahir is what it is, niche taste, not for everybody, not a crow pleaser.
Sileage , Altahir takes the crown same as projection, but not by a long shot though, don't think there is a huge difference between both in those areas.
I spray 3-4 times each.
Both are delicious and AMAZING FRAGRANCES to add to your collection!!!

One advice if your planning to buy PDM Altahir : sample it first , you might not like it , remember , It is not mass appealing in my opinion.
Althäir is one of my favs from PDM. If you like frags like Althäir and Club Black you should try Lattafa Ishq Al Shuyukh Gold. Leather, vanilla, caramel, and saffron. In a similar vein. Leaning towards Baby Cat vibes.
I've heard of that one.
How is the performance?
@@gageabdul I get a solid 7 or 8 hours from it. Great quality and performance for the price. You have to like leather and vanilla to enjoy this one. Presentation is upgraded too. The bottle is heavy, detailed, and well made. The cap is heavy metal similar to PDMs. Best of all you can get it for a 10th the price of comparable niche so you have very little to lose. If you don’t like it you can pass it to a friend or family member.
I have both and i've never understood the comparisons. Althair is much better to me and less synthetic smelling.
I would say that Althair would last about 3 days and have silage on your sweater I know Althair is beast mode in cooler days However I’ve never tried Mercedes Benz black ! So I would probably just go with pdm

Big price difference. There is no doubt that Althair is a great fragrance. But I have Club Black and it does the job. Overspray it. Get a decant sample of Althair for indulgence or special occasions. Club Black for dumb grab.
Club black lasts like 2 days on clothing & about 10 hours in my skin.
Ones dark and the other is airy . Althair has an additive note idk why I just keep going back to it
Probably the Orange Blossom. My partner has Tiger Lilly and l have the YSL MySLF and that note is definitely attractive.
Can I own both is it redundant
I was able to smell Althair at Nordstroms, and it does smell of high quality.. there's this added sweetness with Praline, but also Orange Blossom, Cinnamon and in the opening I get that Aromatic Cardamom that PDM use in some of their other fragrances. At the end of the day you are right Club Black can get you the basics of the scent profile at a much more affordable price. You're just not going to get all the nuances that Althair provides with the added sweetness and Cinnamon, Orange Blossom.
Personally I only like to carry 2-3 Vanilla dominant fragrances so I'm going to pass on Althair. Vanilla although pleasant and pleasing to others in the air, is just a note I'm personally bored of as it's so commonly used. Right now my favorite Vanillas are the Most Wanted Parfum, and Born in Roma Intense and those are really all I need for cool Falls, and Winters so I feel it would be situationally redundant to add Althair.
Very well put, Vanilla Fragrances don't need to flood your collection, 2-3 are really enough to get a well rounded picks.
Any dupe cheaper than Club Black for Althiar ? Any update on Maison Alhambra Line up ?
Liquid brun. I think is the name. DUA Brand has one and also Alexandria Fragrances have one too. Not sure how they are.

How does Babycat compare to MCB?
MCB is softer. Babycat focused on the patchouli more than Cedarwood.
I remember watching all the hype about Mercedes, got it and immediately sold it,just dirty smelly vanilla with smoky incense just yak,on the other hand Althair love at 1st sniff,vanilla mixed with Reflection, just super nice easy to like with great longevity

@@ParagonFragrances I discovered that you can't do links some time ago. I only put the words D E A L and jomashop and listed which frags had the best p r i c e. Oh, also listed that cost on one of the tries. If I knew what I was doing that they didn't like I could avoid it at least. I hate this censorship bs and vague policy. Oh well, first world problems.
Benz-Club-Black is a skin-scent fragrance...that is all it does.
