That looks soooo good! I bet it's better then a restaurant. I have to say, I like how you seem to be genuine, not fake. A lot of these channels OVER react adding too much goofy content. Here it's calm and real with no annoying music. 😊👍
I hope you don’t mind that I write to you Kelli. Just that I believe it’s a great gift meeting and knowing new people in this world. People with the same mindset will eventually grow towards friendship
I'm from AZ but live in Cyprus. This recipe is legit. Every family or restaurant has their own recipes, but you don't mess with the sauce. Love you and this channel.
You are now my very favorite chef to watch. You are an amazing teacher, making dishes that seemed impossible to make, very possible. Thank you so much 😊 ❤️
That looks really good!! I always thought it was hard to make an amazing tasty gyro, you made it look simple and amazing. Now I need this to my list of new recipes. Thank you😊

Great video! All of your content is presented so effortlessly and is easy to follow. Great instruction. And I love it that you aren't one of the paranoid people about touching raw chicken. Petty simple. Handle the meat, wash the hands.

The amount of work u are putting in these videos is sooo appreciated . Love you and thanks a lot You are the favorite person always and forever and dearest to heart🍡🍓🍧🎉🥰🥰💖♥️❤️❤️🌙🫂🍓
Did not turn out as pretty as yours but had a good flavor. Mine fell over. Since each oven is different I might need to go at a higher temp. Took off the picks and added better than bullion chicken with broth chopped it up and let cook a little more. Seemed raw in in few places. It tasted really good though. May try again sometime.
Thirty years ago, I attended a dinner party at the home of a Lebanese couple recently arrived in the US. I never had tzatziki before and fell in love. I begged for the recipe. She taught me to cut the cucumbers in tiny chunks which is still how I make it. I use full fat plain yogurt made in my Instant Pot. I don't add oil or vinegar, but will add citrus and plenty of crushed garlic, salt and pepper. By the way, the "chicken tower" is so clever. I'd never have thought of doing that but I sure will now!
@@majoroldladyakamom6948 I already tried google and the Allrecipes web sit and came up with nothing that's why my comment is asking for the marinade recipe.
Love this effort. Make real lamb and beef gyros. Easier than chicken -- using a loaf pan and a brick. Lots of Cypress spices like marjoram and peppercorns. Tsatziki is the easiest sauce to make outside a vinaigrette.

Maybe if you hadn't occupied them for 4 centuries, they wouldn't have a rightful claim over your cuisine? Don't forget that much of Turkey's cuisine is a continuation of Byzantine cuisine. Don't play a victim.
@@AimForMyHead81 We call this conquest, not occupation. Just like you did before us.Secondly, to say that Turkish cuisine is a continuation of Byzantine cuisine, one must either not know Turkish cuisine or be a retarded manipulator.
She sorta did…2 cucumbers(pitted, chopped and drained), 1 cup Greek yogurt, juice of 1/2 lemon, a couple (or a few) of crushed garlic cloves, it looked like a Tbsp of fresh dill and then drizzle with olive oil to taste, salt and pepper. I would add a couple of fresh mint leaves and a splash of white wine vinegar, if I had it! Hope this helps 😊

I marinated the chicken overnight and cooked it today. My family loved it!!!! This recipe is a keeper! The tzatziki sauce was really good also!

This looks so yummy! I’m thinking maybe an English cucumber would work well and they have few, if any, seeds.

Ps: my family came from Greece 🇬🇷 ❤️

Great job!!!! I use a boneless leg of lamb but I like your chicken, as well.
Looks yummy, tried finding recipe on all recipes couldn’t find it can you post the link thanks
I wish the spice measurements were listed in the description area.
Am I just overlooking where they are?
So awesome!😁

Thank you for this, can you tell me if the oven at 190 is for the fan assistant ovens.
Thank you
I use English cucumbers - less watery.
Whatever cucumber you use you must take out the seeds, english or not
LOVELY YUMMY 😋 THANKS YOU GOODNESS DAPHNE COTTON ALWAYS 💜 AWESOME
Looking good
I’d really like the recipe for the marinade please! 😁
Just ask Mr. Google. 🤣

Made your pastina soup...yum?y. So much better than Campbell's chicken and stars
For the Tatziki, instead of dill, I use fresh mint, cilantro, parsley
Where can I get the recipe to print out? I used to go to a restaurant that had this dish, then, out of nowhere they closed! Help!
I needed more than an hour at 375F. Had to bump up the temperature in order to crisp the entire outside.
What are the measurements for the tzatziki sauce?

Can you do some easy pressure cooker recipes? More specific, meals for a single mom and never ending appetite of my 15 year old son!
Where do you find the measurements for the recipe?
Could I use a loaf pan and skip the sticks ?:) thanks!
I added some red wine vinegar makrs all the difference 😊
♥️♥️♥️
Don't say Creamy !!! lol.
I love your recipies. Why do people say T' ziki ? They're missing letters. It's pronounced tzatziki... ZAT ZIKI (lots of Greek friends)
What exactly are gyros?
I believe it's the whole sandwich. So you would say "Chicken Gyro" or "Beef Gyro" or "Lamb Gyro".
Shawarma = 4$
Gyros = 12$
Ξέχασες το ξύδι ομορφιά
gotta have black olives
Kalamata Olives and Feta Cheese would be "Traditional" Gyro ingredients, but Black Olives would be ok by me 😁

As a Turk, it makes me sad that yoghurt and even many Turkish dishes are known as Greek.
Way more Greeks in the USA than Turks, so first come first served, Greeks claimed Gyros 80+ yrs ago here, so who are we to judge?

A quick way to ruin this excellent recipe is use store bought pita or naan bread. Make your own bread 💪
Yeah, look how stiff that bread is… yuck
its turkish döner :D
Why didn't you give the exact amount of ingredients for the Tzatziki sauce??.
