Great talent
The dude was off balance, mad genius. Many artists are like that. I enjoy Jerry Lee's music to the max. Many well published errors are like a shade over how kind he was to his parents and family, his loyalty to Kenny Lovelace his strings and producer, his many strenuous attempts to put booze and drugs behind him. Like myself, he didn't do everything right. Human and that's what we are. Judging by media is pretty treacherous ground.

I always liked Jerry Lee Lewis music, but his personal life seemed to be very chaos filled and at times did affect his performance. Married 7 times seems to be one of the problems.
Probably the result of alcohol and illegal drugs.

@ glennquagmine1747 , A Person could get married at that young age if they did get Parents Permission . However ,Jerry Lee didn't get her Parents Permission. Also he wasn't divorced from his second wife at the time. Anyway , he did go through the marriage twice. Yes ,down south they could get married very young. they were more grown up for their young age.
