I have a old ceramic heater I purchased in the late 80s which I think is basically the same specs and its only 6in. x 6in cube which is also used as supplement heat in a 28 foot camper. It seems to keep it warm except its fan is quite noisy ...so I guess I'm wondering if mine will do the same job at half the size.
It would probably do fine. You would have to look up how many BTU it puts out. This one is around 5k at 1500 watt. 1700 at 1000 watt. 1000 watt heated camper no problem.
I have the same heater and somehow the buttons fell back inside the heater on the right side. I think I need to take it apart but I don't know to what extent.
I just bought this unit different brand but the cord is only a awg 16 so how can it handle 1500 watts?Usually the cord should be awg 12. Also only has 4 heating tubes.

I have this same heater and today the LED seems to have gone out. The light comes on when I flip the power switch, but it doesn't "beep" and none of the buttons seem to work, not even when I use the remote. No idea what happened or what to do 😕
Sounds like a circut board problem. I would try to return it for another if you could. I looked at mine and I cant find any fuses or anything like that.

Dude mine doesn’t have the on button on rear side. Do you think it’s a counterfeit one? Please let me know. I’m curious about it more curious cause all of them are Chinese lol. So long
I only used mine in the garage to help with the LP heater on really cold days. I dont think it would help a lot unless the garage was pretty small. It may warm it up, But I dont think it would be super warm on really cold days. Camper, small rooms it works really good.
I bought this one at a local thrift ship for $18 & no remote. Fully tested it so I got it. When you shut off is it suppose to cool down ? Before it shuts off completely
Just bought one 2 days ago. Supposed to go down to minus eight to minus 13 tonight. Not like 42 where he is. Not this bullshit "feels like". Actually. Tonight will tell.
I have set mine on a carpeted floor many of times with no problems at all. I would have to check operating book to see if it was recomended, But the bottom does not get hot.
I am not sure what to think. I may have to look at a newer one and check these back out. Mine is still running strong with no issues. I have had some comments on issues with these heaters now. It may be fan speed slowing down when heat tubes turn on and fan speeds up if a few turn off due to the thermostat. Only thing i can think of.
They have a taller one with only 3 elements (@ Lowes), but it has a 'rapid heat' feature. Anyway, I need another, so I'll compare it to this. Thanks for putting the review up, it helps.
I got one but everytime I turn it off (not unplugged) and it loses all the settings (show temp in C degrees, set to eco mode). Its annoying, its going back.

The link you provide to Amazon takes you a to heater that has in its title 6 elements, but when you read the fine print in the Product Description it says 4 elements: "This large room infrared quartz heater contains FOUR infrared quartz elements..." [emphasis added].
I got the same one. It’s a really good heater but ever since I bought it new from my bathroom because my restroom is always freezing but it’ll run 6 hours outta the 12hours that were up but some times it gets really hot I’ll shot it off then to turn it back on the switch in the back is gettin power but the screen is just black leave it unplugged for a week then she’ll work again , works great when it’s workin. Does anyone have this problem or has had this problem!?!? Please lemme know what I have to replace

Maybe I got a bad one if other goes I’ll rate them 2 3 year junk heaters in that put out the heat
Mine is not working anymore. Do you know any videos that show how to fix it?

Well the heater turn back on when the Electric turns back on?
I have a old ceramic heater I purchased in the late 80s which I think is basically the same specs and its only 6in. x 6in cube which is also used as supplement heat in a 28 foot camper. It seems to keep it warm except its fan is quite noisy ...so I guess I'm wondering if mine will do the same job at half the size.
It would probably do fine. You would have to look up how many BTU it puts out. This one is around 5k at 1500 watt. 1700 at 1000 watt. 1000 watt heated camper no problem.
Can you turn the beep off?
I have the same heater and somehow the buttons fell back inside the heater on the right side. I think I need to take it apart but I don't know to what extent.
Killed it though bruh 🔥
You should review some wireless lavalier microphones
I may do that. They work really well. Thanks for the idea
I just bought this unit different brand but the cord is only a awg 16 so how can it handle 1500 watts?Usually the cord should be awg 12. Also only has 4 heating tubes.
Mine shut down. I didn't clean filter. Lights still on in back switch but how do I reset
Reset buttons under right side case, reset buttons underneath/backside sensors, take them out, push buttons and put back in.

I had the same thing happened last night

Dude mine doesn’t have the on button on rear side. Do you think it’s a counterfeit one? Please let me know. I’m curious about it more curious cause all of them are Chinese lol. So long
Why my quartz heater keeps going to e1
this heater has fan issues and did not even last one winter before giving me problems the fan is now jammed and just headache.
I have a 12x12 tent. Do you think it would do a good job of heating that when my wood burners goes out in the middle of the night?
I think it would depend on how cold it was outside. If it was really cold like 20 Fahrenheit then it may keep you warm, But not hot.
About how loud is it
It is not very loud at all. The only sound you hear is the fan run. I used it in the camper when we slept and it was not loud at all.
@@steiger256 thanks alot.
how does it heat up the garage
I only used mine in the garage to help with the LP heater on really cold days. I dont think it would help a lot unless the garage was pretty small. It may warm it up, But I dont think it would be super warm on really cold days. Camper, small rooms it works really good.
I bought this one at a local thrift ship for $18 & no remote. Fully tested it so I got it. When you shut off is it suppose to cool down ? Before it shuts off completely
The instruction manual says its normal for the fan to stay on for a little while after you turn the heater off
@@misslayer999 Thanks Beth!
@@washedout8055 *Yes, totally normal. Prevents fires.* 🔥🚒
Is there. Feature where it can just run all night ? I don’t want it to keep going on and off
I don't think it runs consistently. I Believe it will turn on and off as needed.
How can I shut off the eco mode
You should be able to press the mode button. It goes from eco, high, low. Mine has one, unless they changed it
Just bought one 2 days ago. Supposed to go down to minus eight to minus 13 tonight. Not like 42 where he is. Not this bullshit "feels like". Actually. Tonight will tell.
Can I put a heater in the carpet
I have set mine on a carpeted floor many of times with no problems at all. I would have to check operating book to see if it was recomended, But the bottom does not get hot.
I just got mine and the fan kind of whines, sounds like it slows a bit then speeds up every now and then. Whaddya think? Thanks.
That would be annoying. I think if I turn mine off it may turn on set to high and 72F.
What's going on with the heater when it doesn't blow out anything when the lights come on it just shut off and is not coming back on by itself.
I am not sure. I have not run into any problems with mine. You may want to try to turn up the thermostat to see if that works. It may be set to low.
*Did it ever come back on Sabrina?*
the fan will start squealing after about 2 weeks. The electric fan cannot stand the heat
Mine completely shut down. The light in back is still working but no beep no fan nothing

The link you provide to Amazon takes you a to heater that has in its title 6 elements, but when you read the fine print in the Product Description it says 4 elements: "This large room infrared quartz heater contains FOUR infrared quartz elements..." [emphasis added].
I will check that out and fix it. Thank you
