  • So, would you like to know how I changed content and lost subscribers on youtube? Well, join me on the motorcycle (the tracer 900 gt), and let's chat about the change I made to my channel, switching from the motorcycle I ride and the impact on my channel. It sure is a lesson in how slight changes in a creator's eyes can have a big impact on your channel - and smaller channels get hit harder...

Thanks! Sport touring has picked up a lot of speed in the past year or so. You get so much tech and so much comfort for a fraction compared to larger, cruiser touring style motorcycles. That is largely why I went that direction

I haven't seen too many of your videos lately, but I too am in the process of trading my Scout Bobber in on a new '22 Tracer 9 GT. Weird coincidence! Wish I had the room in the garage to keep it.

Your change was inspiring for me. I am relatively new to motorcycling. I am a tall big guy at 6' 5" and 280lbs. I am also 67 years old and have been riding 2 years. I ride a Victory Vision Premium Tour. It is a wonderful motorcycle but also heavy. I am limited in choices. Way to tall for a Scout or any Harley, except a Pan America. I know at some point I will need to get a lighter bike. The Tracer 9 GT would likely fit the bill. There is no perfect motorcycle, just the perfect motorcycle for yourself and your needs. The goal is to ride until you are older than dirt and enjoy the ride. Screw the label, just ride. Keep up the great content. I am not leaving.

New subscriber here after watching this video. I’m also a dad with a bike and a dad with a RUclips channel. I think you will recover just fine, I have pivot my channel several times and added new content a long the way. I didn’t want to only appease the algorithm and fall victim to posting content just to post content. I feel much more satisfied posting what I find enjoyable, creative, and what aligns with what’s happening to me at that moment in my life. It’s actually easy to get bored with one type of content and you might actually stop posting videos all together, changing your niche will keep things enjoyable in the long run and you will be happier. Just my two cents! Keep up the good work.

I followed your content and loved my Scout Bobber for the 830 miles I put on it. For some reason it just wasn't doing it for me and your channel helped me to move away from the bobber. I seriously considered the Tracer 9 but for me the MT09 fits the bill. I got blessed and was able to purchase a 2022 MT09 and then sold my Scout Bobber for a decent price. Much happier with the MT09 now. Thanks for all the work you've put into these videos!

I came to your channel because I was searching for content on scout upgrades. I think it's understandable when people end up being subscribers for specific content that when you quickly change tracks that some people will drift off. There isn't a lot of Indian content on RUclips, and those who make it often do so intermittently. Those who got here and are still here were probably the ones who either like any motorcycle content or you as a creator. I think I'm the end you will end up with a lot more subscribers as you continue to customize your new bike, because I think the adv segment is RUclips is a lot more trafficked.
