For those attempting this, I've been informed by Delkevic you need to let the sealant dry for 24 hours before installation, and you don't put it on the copper gaskets.
Hi, I have a 2023 model in the UK. Didn’t want that arrow pipe on my bike. I think it takes away from the look. This Delkevic pipe looks fantastic. Thank you for sharing. Definitely peaked my curiosity! Safe riding but have fun!
Great exhaust sir. I installed the same one but it wasn’t the ceramics. It sounds fantastic. I posted a long video on how to install it step by step. The only thing I would suggest is to record the O2 sensor replacement, it is the most sensitive part and I wasn’t able to see it clearly. Overall great video and enjoy that magnificent exhaust.
Great video. I bought a 2021 vulcan s a few months ago with a DL 400mm delkevic on it. Found it just a fraction too loud (for me) so replaced the baffle with a solid one, which takes the edge off and sounds a tad throatier. Switch to the stock exhaust every now and then, but keep returning to the delkevic as it makes the cruising ride experience more fulfilling. Looking forward to a tune with the pipes on just to see if it makes a difference to fuel consumption. Also looking forward to de restricting it at the end of the year when on full licence as everything I've seen online seems to indicate this bike is more powerful and even smoother when not restricted. Thanks again for an entertaining and informative video.
Yer id be keen to see if a tune after the exhaust makes much difference. The aftermarket exhaust definitely helps with being heard in traffic!! Just check, but when de-restricting the bike it may have to be re-registered as non lams?
Is it easy to take the baffle out? And put it back in when you need to get it serviced ? Or does it require real tools and experience? I'm looking at getting this exhaust I absolutely love the sound of it. Even through a video
Hey, do it! You will love it!! I’m not sure about the legalities but realistically if you keep your old exhaust, if you get told it’s not legal/ too loud you can always change it back.
Yep they sound sick! Man the stock exhaust sounds like a barina :) I just picked up a 2016 cafe and am looking at a Delkevic - was undecided between the bullnose or slash cut - I assume this is the 410? Did you order it direct from the website, or thru someone local? Bike is lookin great mate - cheers for putting this up. Will save me a bit of time in the coming weeks :) Another question - have you looked into leather bags for your setup? Best option seems to be the Finn Moto stuff - I'm still looking for options here :)
I bought this direct from Delkevic through eBay, got it within the week. Haven’t looked into bags yet, kinda like the look as is. Main things next are mirrors and levers. Then, I think I might be done… The RUclips videos don’t really do the sound justice, it really makes a difference!!!!
I heard one guy describe the sick exhaust as an angry sewing machine😂 I agree, until you get up to speed, at sixty mph (100kmh), it sounds pretty throaty
Welp im convinced mate. I rekonise Gnangara rd anywhere ha ha. mind if i ask the price and where you got it from? and what was the orange stuff you chucked on? cheers bud.
i cant believe everone saying they like it, im about to just put an sc project on it, it sounded good on my n650 should sound the same here, i cant stand the lawn mower sound idk
Do you need engine tuning after this mod? I have seen a lot of people say it might offset the factory tuning and therefore you need to retune it after modifying
Are these supper loud? I am trying to find something that has a nice deep grumble like the video makes them sound like but you cant ever tell decibals in videos. I like deep grumbles but im not a fan of loud. If its loud enough buddy next to you doesn't want to ride near you its far too loud for me.
It’s really hard to convey on video, they aren’t super loud, though are much more loud than stock. If that makes sense… I might try using a db meter to show the difference….
Yer I did, it had a bit of a bend in it? Not sure what that’s for… had a bit of a google and couldn’t see it anywhere noticeable… I just left it off as it all went together nicely.
I haven’t had it tuned, probably should.. but I haven’t noticed any issues just yet but would help with a few things getting a tune I’d say, I.e. fuel consumption and ride smoothness.
Gotta let you know that the "noise" pollution you had for background "music", made it impossible for me to watch your video unmuted. I cant recommend that exhaust pipe in any way with a clean/clear conscience.😱😵
I just put the exact pipe on my 22 Vulcan S.. what a world difference, absolutely made an amazing bike more amazing ❤
Love it, it does make a huge difference and the videos don’t do it justice!!
That pipe is exactly the right look for the Vulcan.. and it sounds amazing!
It really is! I love the all black coating of it and has an awesome note!!

Are you saying copper ring is not needed for delkevic exhaust? I added copper ring last week!
@@techvirgins2833 no, I'm saying you don't put the sealant on the copper gaskets.
@@brendanwmWhy?
@@skarpy24cause copper gaskets are like crush washers and don’t need any sealer just pressure
Delkevic have information on their website sealant dry 1 hour
Neighbours must love you now haha Sounds awesome!

Good job. Looks and sounds alot better. 👍
I think so too! Love it even more with the baffle out!!

Sounds way better than the two brothers exhaust I just watched on another channel. Good choice! 😁👍
Thanks! I’m pretty happy with it!!
I have a two brothers, this sounds good but two brothers is more deep, it sounds different in person of course than these vids.
That’s it I’m buying it thanks for a great video 🤙🏽
No problems! You’ll love it!
My man, got rid of the sewing machine sounding OEM muffler and upgraded to a growl....Love the mod....Note to self, do the install.

Is this the 350 model? Would it effect using a paddock stand with bobbins?
Best part of the entire video was you flipping off the dog! Very funny - I do the same.
Um thanks, not sure that’s a compliment… but thanks for watching anyway!!
Gloves on to apply that red stuff on pipe would have been a smart move!
Yes good idea! I was to excited though and didn’t even think of it!!🤣😅
awesome exhaust
It sure is!
Naughty man scaring the children 😏
😂 one of them was my son so it’s ok?
How many ft lbs of torque did you tighten the header bolts to

Just wondering if you have a rear wheel life and if it fits with this exhaust?
I heard one guy describe the sick exhaust as an angry sewing machine😂

Delkevic Exhaust have no the Catalyst. Does this in exhaust increase the hp? How many?
I would have to put it on a dyno to really find out.
It would definitely need a dyno tune with new exhaust I’d say..
Welp im convinced mate. I rekonise Gnangara rd anywhere ha ha. mind if i ask the price and where you got it from? and what was the orange stuff you chucked on? cheers bud.
Hey, good old Gnangara!
$889.95 + $35 shipping. I bought it from Delkevic aus but through their eBay store, it worked out quicker I think..
@OzzieMotoVlogs awesome mate cheers bud. Sound incredible, good job

I didn’t tune it after and have noticed much difference in how it runs. But I’d imagine it’s advisable to tune after a change like the exhaust…
What song is that
Have it also and it is disgustingly loud, any tips to properly silence it?
I don’t have any first hand experience with lowing the volume, though I believe you can pack the silencer with exhaust packing and it does help…

The song from about the 9:00 mark.
What is it?
Blood Of Garuda, by Carvings.
hi how much it cost?
Baffle in or out? Mine sounds too sickk
Baffle out, I have a video comparing in vs out also. Check it out!
DO i have to tune up when change new exhaust?
Hey, I didn’t do a tune and haven’t noticed a need to.
Whats that orage stuff you put on pipe and also do you to replace the exhaust top pipe like i think crush washers?
Orange stuff was a sealant and I don’t replace the rings as the bike only had 2000kms on it.
does it come with sealant and do rings just go between the top pipes? looking at getting this year@@OzzieMotoVlogs
Have you deristricted your bike
Yes I have, I’m thinking of putting the plug back in tough… I didn’t notice much power gain but have noticed fuel economy worsened.
@@OzzieMotoVlogs theres the throttle stop too
@@OzzieMotoVlogs What was your fuel consumption before, and what is it now?
What do you mean by saying "putting the pług back"?
Great video, start to finish 👏🏼 Sounds magnificent. I’m guessing that was baffle in? Are you opposed to doing a video with baffle out?
Thanks! Definitely something I can look into. It’s pretty loud as it is so would be keen to hear it without..
I’ve done a video comparison with and without the baffle, it sounds much ‘meatier’ without the baffle..!
Where can you buy it????
I bought mine from the Delkevic eBay store here in Australia.
What tool kit were you using
Hey, it’s the BAHCO S87+7 kit.
7:02, that thing, what is that??
That’s the O2 sensor.
What did you do with the 2 copper rings it comes with?
I left them out, the bike only had 2000kms on it and was only a couple of months old so I just reused the original ones.
Ok thanks, we’re the old ones still in there when you removed the downpipes?
Also did you get another bracket / plate? Any idea what it’s for?
Yer still in there, wouldn’t take much to pop them out. Small flat blade screw driver.
Yer I did, it had a bit of a bend in it? Not sure what that’s for… had a bit of a google and couldn’t see it anywhere noticeable… I just left it off as it all went together nicely.
where did you order the parts from?
I bought it from Delkevic through their eBay store in Australia.
Did any codes pop up?
No codes and hasn’t had any issues since installing it.
Did you have to tune it ?
I haven’t had it tuned, probably should.. but I haven’t noticed any issues just yet but would help with a few things getting a tune I’d say, I.e. fuel consumption and ride smoothness.
did you install this onto a 2023 Vulcan S?
Yer this is a 23 Vulcan.
Poor kid haha!
🤣
Drop the heavy metal head hanging noise! What you'd call "background music", it's just noise pollution as far as anyone is concerned!
Bit of Taylor swift next time?
Sorry. I was really interested in your video but I hate the unnecessary terrible music. Peace out.
😂 love it! Turn the volume down? All good mate, peace out to you too.
Gotta let you know that the "noise" pollution you had for background "music", made it impossible for me to watch your video unmuted. I cant recommend that exhaust pipe in any way with a clean/clear conscience.😱😵
Thanks for the feedback! I won’t be changing how I edit my videos to suit you unfortunately.✌️😂
