I used a sashimi knife. Hold the roll well with your left hand and cut it instantaneously.

good videos for a quick recap.but maybe add measuements? do i need to make pancake batter 1:2 or thicker/thinner ?

U dont need a deep fryer to deep fry something small

You know that's a common plating style right? The sauce and crumbs are supposed to be artfully messy. It's much more interesting to our eye than complete perfection and symmetry on a plate.
