- Finally...they give a performance that brings back the greatness they brought from the first performance. i've been waiting for them to show the judges and most importantly the voting audience why they're here..this song definitely shows off their strong points. everything was good from the singing to the melody and arrangement. If they ever get voted off, at least go out with a bang but hopefully not yet!. A-
The beatboxer was singing so softly at the beginning and then started beat boxing like a machine gun, lol then started to sing softly agin... WOW!
WHOEVER'S DOIN THE REALLY LOW NOTES HAD MAD SKILLZ
Jo VInson a LEGEND
Z you g
This was a perfect example of why this show stands out from the rest. The contestants do the arrangements themselves.
Actually they have a lot of arrangers that work with the groups, like Rob Dietz and Ben Bram
halapalu That's awesome. I wasn't even aware of that. Regardless though, I think GritsnBeans point is still valid. Its pretty awesome to see a show where the contestants have full creative control over their pieces.
Lenny Jay exactly, they obviously have help but the groups have a lot of control over the arrangements and it's what enables them to play to their strengths
@@halapalu Yeah, but they just gave advice on what they think would sound better but ultimately it was up to the contestants - kind of like in American Idol, they would get coached by someone but it was still the contestant's choice.
Female bassists impress me so much especially Jo she is great.
Coming back to this after 9 years. Gina slayed this shit. Everyone came back with that fire in their diaphragms.
Jo's bass!!! incredible! great role models
The bass murdered me at the end. It was all to beautiful.
2024 and I’m back listening again! This was amazing wow 😭❤️🔥
I'm in love with the beat boxer. Her singing voice is gorgeous.
The lyrics and the way they handled those lyrics made me actually tear up a bit. They finally recaptured that power and emotion they had in the first week, but in a different way. It's was beautiful and powerful. Plus, their harmonization was really good this time
My favourite Delilah performance
Man! The arrangement for the back up singers is simply amazing!!! Not to mention the terrific bassline!!
I love Geena Glaser! I mean when she started it I felt it right away. Then that Jo wow her bass is incredible.
This is still the best version of "How To Love" I've ever heard.
This was also their first performance where they were stacked up against Pentatonix, which this is the week where Pentatonix cemented themselves as the frontrunner, so they really held their own this week, and that's impressive, but I wish they could have held that momentum. I think they also falter because they have to sing songs out of their comfort zone that don't necessarily suit their style - but that's the challenge of the show. They did great here and got second call out!
I wish Jo and Avi would have a baby just so it could break records with its beautifully deep voice :)
I Can't stop listening to this one... Very strong voices...
This was my fav of all their performances. Starting and ending the song with Gina was awesome. The chords these ladies hit give me chills every time.
I watched this performance when it was current. I couldn't sleep and found myself here tonight. I was a serious musician long ago. The ladies did a great job all around, but there is a section that really inspires me 3:08 - 3.25. So in tune and so beautiful. I never cry but that chord at 3.23 makes my eyes water and gives me goosebumps EVERY time I hear it. Bravo! I needed that in my life :)
Sharing the same feeling here... goosebumps and watery eyes all over again. Haven't heard this song in a while and a recent FB trip down the memory lane instantly reminded me of this performance. Love it!
My favorite of all of their performances! Strong all around.
they def. should have had Geena do more solo's, her voice is flawless
How did Joe hit that low Eflat note? She is definitely the lowest female bass or baritone that I have ever heard.
This was such a good showing by them!! Why, oh, why couldn't these girls be consistently good like this?!?! They could have made the Top 3 if they could have kept it together.
I really think they were the most underrated on the show. That chord at 3:21 is so in-tune you can hear overtones. So beautiful.
I'm in love with Ingrid!! She is so very beautiful! Also has a freaking amazing voice!
"Busting a beat ... or whatever you do" lol Ingrid cracks me up
All of these girls are amazing singers, together and on their own, and I think that is what makes them so good...
still one of the best!
Get it Geena!!!! That was definitely a surprise. I can't stop listening to this performance; and I love their rendition of this song.
They best they've sounded so far! Great job girls!
Geena was so amazing!! I've loved her since their first performance!
anyone else cry while watching this. wow.
This Is Why Delilah Is One Of My Favorite Acapella Group
-First Pentatonix
So who's with me that Gina's voice is sexy as hell? (The drummer, and the girl that starts and ends it). I guess not to mention the rest of her, cause damn.
Proof that Ingrid has a beautiful voice.
Bah! That chord at 3:20 gets me every time.
Better than the original! Such a beautiful song!
Geena went to the high school i go to and her hs choir teacher is my current one. We watch the sing off in class. She gives me hope that I can make it in the music world :)
The girl soloist at 3:10 is amazing... actually, all the soloists they've had so far have been amazing. Kudos ladies, and thanks for doing a great job again. =)
They ROCKED this song!!!
Gives me chills every time.
i can listen to this all day i love the way they did the song
I've only watched this show a couple of times, but Delilah did a phenomenal job on How To Love and Grenade. Their harmonizing is just awesome.
i love how they did this song it made me cry.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this one. Downloaded it on imusic!
THAT BASS THOUGH
im a huge fan of the original... but these ladies totally killed it!! loved this performance!
I LOVE THERE MUSIC SO MUCH HOW THEY SING THERE NOT BAD AT BEATBOXING ILOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE THEIR PORFORMANCE IN WHAT THEY DID
Best female base sound I've ever heard!!
Delilah is badass they are amazing and I love the arrangement. Gina amazing and ladies you look so beautiful! Joe hit the low I think amazing and I love it 😊
Of course. i was obsessed with that song for a period in time.. i even downloaded it on my phone
& over a year later, this is still giving me goosebumps.
I think I have played 3:00-3:35 literally a hundred times. The whole song is AMAZING but that part is my favorite. It is so beautiful and you can feel the emotion. I am in love with this.
wow! The chick on bass and the vocal percussionist hick are amazing!!! Both of them have conquered something that usually isn't done by a female. It's definitely more of a male driven talent. So I give them a lot of respect!
the bass is beast.... percussionist is great as well
I just have to take this time to say that Sarah's hair, makeup, and outfit this week was REALLY cute. I love her hair especially. Probably didn't do it herself, but props to the hairstylist who did. I wanna learn from you xD
The only time its okay to cry to a lil wayne song!! Ingrid is beautiful in every way!! Jo is amazing, and i love this more than words!
love ingrid, such a beautiful and great songer :)
I heard Lil' Wayne made a cover of this.
oh they did such a great job i like hip hop music, 😊👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
my favorite group
Fantastic.
Geena has consistently been one of the most, if not THE most, naturally gorgeous girl in the group. I would go crazy for her!
This performance made me cry
Delilah's note to self: only ever do modern music. Ever. No exceptions.
I was almost crying =') Perfection!
Almost, what are you steel?
Ingrid has an amazing voice as well!!! she did that!!!
I wish they did a full track
I LOVED IT!!!!
Go Ingrid!!!!!!
Beautiful. These girls really came together here and blew the doors off the joint. Great job.
@MommaDawn Please Please Please, if you can, come back for series 4! You seriously are an inspiration. You girls, together, are amazing!
I felt the emotions!
I think I have a crush on Geena.
This will forever be my favorite performance by them and my favorite group in all 3 seasons of The Sing Off. I truly believed they deserved to go to the final :(
It is insane how amazing these 8 girls are. Geena until now was my favorite beatboxer, but she never got the chance to show her true self. She can sing so well, and IMO, is the best out of all 8. Aside from being the hottest and most beautiful, her voice is insanely amazing. So glad she got to shine. I am so sad that Delilah went home. They definitely couldve made it to the finals, (against PTX of course).
Ingrid had me slain. I loved her throughout their time on the show.
Goosebumps
this rendition made me like this song. props to geena on that one holy hell. and that last chord....OMG
Liked your sound and loved the Aicia Keys melody. Going to show my age a little but I bet you ladies would have killed some EnVouge goodness.
Love this group glad they made it to next week.....beautiful voices....Amy omg eyes are so emotional love it......great job all of u....wish there was a way u could do the hole song and put it to a video so much better then original
Favorite.
Geena looks like Lake Bell. It was nice to hear that she can sing in addition to beatboxing.
just amazing
JO IS SO EPICALLY AWESOME!!!! X)
So powerful.
When these ladies do their best work.. It can almost make a person cry. Also, one of them can hit some seriously low notes for a woman. ahah.
GOD THAT BASS
I know right. They hit that chord and I screamed YEAH !!
THEIR BACK!!!!
siiiiccckkk. i wish they made it to r&b week. they would've killed it.
YOooooooooooo dey killed it
Those overtones at 3:22-3:25 give me chills every time. As Ingrid said in the intro, their pitch would have to be "right on." And it was--the overtones prove it!
This is the Delilah I've been waiting for!!! I was worried about them for a while, I thought they had lost their edge and now I'm happy to see they've come back so strong.
Delilah = AMAZING
The nine who disliked haven't learned how to love
@MommaDawn keep all your fans updated! because i WILL buy the album!!!
@MommaDawn At first I loved you because you were an all female group, and after hearing you sing, I loved you because you just sounded so beautiful. I wish you guys all the best, and I love you guys so much.
the lead was great!! You go gurly!!!!!!!!
@spaceballs you were about Ab. I'm a person wherer overtones are concerned there were also some beautiful flatted seconds involved. But ur absolutely right.
