Thank you for this. I had been avoiding buying them for this very reason, I have never had root clips that worked in my silky roots either. I thought they looked so larger that they would be pulling or just be too big for finer hair types. So now I want to try them out.
I saw another video where the lady also loves those bounce curl clips but she diffuses without the clips until her hair is about 80% dry. Then puts the clips in and lets it air dry the last 20% of the way. That helps it to dry I think. At first she put them in wet and diffused with them in like you but it was staying pretty wet I think. Not sure. Just sharing in case you’d like to try that way as well.
I've tried this before but my roots don't take long to dry when I diffuse so it makes no difference. But it's a great idea if your hair takes longer to dry.

I have those same clips, but my hair ends up looking wrinkled. I think it's because my hair is so thin. It probably doesn't help that my hair is 2 different colors. On the same day I decided to stop straightening my hair and go gray. I will give the clips another try along my part like you did.
I had no idea that Bounce Curl was selling these clips! I might have to try them since I've never been able to get any root lift with other clips in the past.
I have the frizz off clips. I apply them to my hair when it's dry and leave them in for a bit. Then I unclip, apply hair spray and re-clip for a little bit. With the clips because as you mentioned, that is difficult.
Have the clips - they're great! But would you mention the name of the spray in the pink bottle? I have been like CSI slowing down the video a few times to see the name and have scanned your product lists, but can't find it. Thanks!

OMG I just got these and I love them. No other clips would work. These are amazing.
The Curl Keeper I have them , but they mess up my hair when I take them off plus they fall over.

I had the ones you use for hot rollers, they're too light. I have some I bought in a 3 pack at the dollar store, they work pretty good!
