I really love how you brought up the idea of switching between different aspects of the game so you’re not burnt out quicker! That’s a tactic I really should be using but when I start something I feel inclined to finish it until I run into an error and then I just get demotivated from working in the project any further
@@realsplitgamesPersonally, I don't mind what forms the devlog takes as long as the developing and production method works for you. I do think that making videos while developing a game is super tough and I would prioritise finishing the game. If you think you can do it well, then I think that devlog style serves as a good way to keep things interesting, though weekly devlog is a pretty quick turn around, given how slow game dev is
Im not necessarily thinking about uploading weekly, just having that week to week content. Depends on how quickly im able to edit and such. But I do agree that development should take priority.
I like when the items float! So many games these days are pushing further and further towards "realism" and trying to convince themselves they aren't a game. With something like this it'd be nice to see more fun, less realistic, more "casual" elements remain in the design.
This looks like an excellent start to your game! The loot on the floor looks great, although I'd suggest toning down the shine as it's hard to tell what it actually is.

That was me for the past year, it really is difficult to just set something unfinished aside! Good luck

This is the most entertaining devlog I have seen in a while
Thank you, that means a lot!
