Wow they sound great dont they? These guys need to start making some new albums again methinks- and thanks for posting too; made my morning in Calgary Canada.
Dude! Thank you for capturing this great show. I was lucky to be there up in front. So worth it, the crowd was great and they sounded great in the venue. Definitely will be reliving this event playing in the car.
wow awesome thank you.....when i hit play i thought it was 42 mins im so happy to see esp with my 7.1 surround to see i was missing an hour lol this is one of the best live recordings ive seen on line bravo! and gracias
Hope you enjoyed watching this. I missed them doing 3 nights in 99 at the SF Fillmore, and again in 2010, these two shows were the first I saw of them all together.
Thank you! Oh boy can’t wait to next month! Two shows in Philly and DC! This is gonna be a great big song along! Gonna be like number 40 or so shows for me I’ve lost count!
Was supposed to be at this concert, but cancelled it last minute due to me getting a bad case of COVID. Really sucks. Steve though seems to have regained his voice (the Pavement recordings earlier this year made me worried about how age's gonna affect his voice a little bit). Hope you gain more experience with this as you do more of this!
I'll upload their audio soon, got too excited to process pavement that I haven't done them yet. Tried video for them too, but the damn camera focused on something too far in front of the stage, so it's a blurry video.
Very cool stuff, appreciate the effort you put into this! I find it still surprising that Bob is still used as a second drummer after all this time, guess its tradition :p
Bob's a founding and integral member of Pavement. Why wouldn't he be playing the parts that he's played since the music was conceived, written and recorded?!?
Might be the last time I get to see them and wanted to remember the show, finally got a hang of this video camera and glad this came out as well as it did. My buddy had the same sentiment about Bob, but he makes some of those songs possible. I think with his mic more balanced in the mix, like at the orpheum, it's fun; back in May his mic was very overbearing and it was a little distracting.
I was at this show - the 8th time I’ve seen them since 1992; I’m so glad you captured and shared it
Fellow Jeremy here also giving thanks for this. Good Thanksgiving soundtrack. Got Spiral's set after the show.
I listen pavement over the 30yeas. I love elevate me lator.
Phenomenal recording, setlist & performance! Thanks a million my friend! 👍😎
Thank you

The sound was amazing in that venue, they did a great job.
I got some recordings but this fixed shot is so much better.
@@ricardovalencia4368 appreciate that

Thank you so much for the compliments
@@oldirtytaper thank YOU for the effort and responding
Tomorrow in Amsterdam! Whoop whoop!
Thank you so much
Very welcome!
This is such a goddamn gift. Thank you!
Very welcome, glad you could enjoy it!
One of my favorite band till i saw them first time on mtv in 1991. hope they come to germany with this setlist!
Give it a Day, a favorite of mine! Thank you so much for this!!!!!
Welcome, enjoy!
Thanks for putting this up there. Wanted to go. Went to the LA gigs in '97, '99, and 2010. They felt like goin' deep on this one. Never a bad thing.
Hope you enjoyed watching this. I missed them doing 3 nights in 99 at the SF Fillmore, and again in 2010, these two shows were the first I saw of them all together.
Pure gem
Appreciate that!
Great job, thanks for this!

Wow 40 pavement shows?! Impressive
LA had a lot of singing, have fun!
Going to see them tonight in Toronto. Awesome that you filmed entire set. Wow nice
Have a great time tonight! I'm sure they'll be well rehearsed by now.
@@oldirtytaper I was there, and they were!
Thank you so very much for sharing this!!! Outstanding quality!
Appreciate that, thank you

wise call on the covid, been doing audio taping 20+ years, just not so handy with the video camera yet.
wow this is gonna be awesome, seeing them soon, they sound really great live!
How was the show?
Wow Film school is a great opening act to open for pavement! Super jealous I couldn't be there!

Bob is great but not a founding member
I saw the next night, which was awesome, but truth be told this (the Thursday night performance) set was better.
Spiral said it himself, best setlist of the la shows.
@@oldirtytaper I like their slow songs, but they played too many back to back at the Friday show. Too much "chung, chung, chung-chung..."
I hear ya, those setlists I go grab a drink during the lulls.
Fudge. I miss everything.
Spiral is also singing really good on Kennel District (surprising that he can sing that high still).
Must've been those years he spent with the Preston School of industry
@@oldirtytaper Yeah, I thought he sung it pretty badly at times then.
I wish i was there …
I know this cant make up for going, but hopefully you enjoyed watching.
Shlda went ..sold out in a day + saw first reunion cash 🐄 tour around 2010
I missed that tour and wasn't going to miss this one, I'd imagine it'd be the last reunion they do, songs might hit different at 60.
I've become like a deadhead collecting all these show and transferring them to mp3. Where will it end? Thanks for this!
Ahhh I forgot to post the link for these, I have them tracked into flac and mp3
@@oldirtytaper If you posted the links, where might you have done it? Would love to get a hold of them...thanks for posting...great show!
shout out to the 6 people who cheered for The Hexx and Folk Jam
and the ONE GUY who was happy to hear Embassy Row
Just sounds that way with my mics above everyones head a foot or two. Reduces crowd noise.
always makes me a little sad hearing no hype for TT songs
This set list is pure 🔥! Could only be improved if they added Elevate and Rattled, but they didn't play those all tour to my knowledge so...
Agreed!
Why two drummers ?
They seem a bit off/ not into it compared to some other recent videos i've seen
But Fame Throwa is fucking excellent.
@@AdemK47 Major League High Light!
It was the first night of the tour, I'm sure they're well rehearsed by now.
Someone decode all that Latin
music > microphones > recorder > computer > youtube
Nobody thought to record it from the board? Sounds terrible.
Maybe it's whatever potato you're using to listen to this on. Nearly 20k views, all compliments, then there's you. Have a good day!
Who's the hamplanet?
