Kozilek or Ulamog just seem obscenely good with Dihada, she ramps to them quickly with the treasures from her 2nd ability and makes them even more oppressive with her first ability - such a Timmy combo.
I built my copy of this deck out with Shanid as the commander. The card draw is insane, it recovers from wipes amazingly well, and really runs nicely. Just stuffed it full of legendary lands, spells, creatures, artifacts, and a whole bunch of lifelink.
Really nice video! Your channel is one of my favorite recent discoveries on RUclips. I really like the format and speed of your videos and the rationale behind the cards that you include. Anyways, I’m still considering picking this deck up because I’ve got a lot of legendary creatures lying around that would be fun to include. Keep up the great content!
Hey thank you and I'm glad you enjoy the content! She was pretty fun overall, I build from a template so I can't really say if the precon was worth it or not. :/ Precon's got the reaver cleaver tho xD. She's probably works well just tossing random legends in tbh. With having card advantage and ramp built into the same ability she should be pretty consistent.
Loving this review. Dihada is a great asset to mardu, and being a kelsien the plague player, I use her as support to bring out legendary 1-2 enchantments to support kelsien on play. Legion's landing and the background legendary enchantments from Baldurs gate being at 2 mana cost would be the perfect setup for a 3-mana commander with haste. Dihada would then serve as both a protection and mana/resource sustain for kelsien. If I don't draw queen marchesa for monarch bonus, dihada does the same as well in a sense.
I know you've already got him in there, but Cadric has consistently surprised me in this deck. I usually play him, then Dihada, then clone Dihada and downtick both of them to mill 8, make 8 mana, and reanimate a mountain of legends through something like Primeval's Glorious Rebirth. Another one that's done work for me is Magda, Brazen Outlaw. If you can get a single swing with her before playing Dihada, then downtick Dihada once she's out, you can use Magda's ability and get whatever busted artifact/dragon you can think of. Lastly, Luxior has been surprising in the deck. If you play it, then Dihada, she's a 7/7 lifelink/indestructible/vigilant commander for a voltron element no one is expecting. All in all I have immensely enjoyed Dihada so far. Such a fun mix of legendary aggro, reanimator, and big mana ramp.
4:00 to keep up with Green. Green can ramp ridiculously quick. The difference is they ramp by effects that allow extra lands to be played and searching for lands. treasure tokens are a single use ramp and opponents will almost always target your card that makes them. Green has it way too easy
I played dihada the other day ni edits to the deck and I was more or less in the lead most of the game (I got 2nd place because I was the threat too early but oh well)
the -11 is useful I used it then played her again (I hadnt played any cards) then I used her +2 to give everything lifelink indestructible and vigilance and deathtouch (not that it mattered)
I like heliod, Vito, and black market connections suggestions for the deck. I Disagree with Konrad, Athreos, razaketh. Konrad simply because when you use her -3 you are looking draw and make treasure tokens. You end up discarding the lands you cant keep and keep the legendary creatures you can. Athreos because you really dont have many creatures that die. Razeketh is great but its cmc is so high and its just asking to be removed. The last suggestions id say after playing Dihada, Norn would be the best pick as it pumps and nurfs. Also Ashling the pilgrim is so underrated. I have now used it in multiple games to wipe my opponents boards and lower their life total for a killing blow.
Thanks for the feedback! Athreos probably would be a good budget cut for the deck, you're right there isn't a ton of aristocrat stuff going on in a deck like this. I think Konrad would still be a good include though. In testing out the deck I often dumped all the cards milled with Dihada for mana so he could apply some great burst damage. As a 5/4 he isn't a bad target for her +2 either.
Thank you! I know its quite expensive. I normally don't build around a budget because everyone's budget is a little different. I try just suggesting different cool cards that would fit the deck and let people figure their own budgets out. For example Demonic Tutor is a great card, but Search for Glory is basically just as good in this kind of deck.
Hello, sorry I only speak English so I'm not sure if I understood correctly. If you're asking about including the new Sheoldred then I think she'd be a find addition to the deck. She fits the legendary theme and can provide some lifegain for you and burn on your opponents. As a card I'm surprised by how expensive she is. She could vary in effectiveness depending on what sort of decks you're up against. This deck doesn't have a ton of draw potential to really take advantage of the life gain.
@@MadHatterYT yes indeed the card remains however a threat for the adversary. in terms of price I'm not at all surprised because sheldread is the best card in the edition and is played as standard, pioneer/modern and we're starting to see it being ordered.do you think dihadia could be competitive? kind in shop tournament? Thank you Best regards
@@keoma6077 I'm not sure if she can be competitive or not. cEDH isn't something I'm really familiar with and I normally don't tune my decks in that way. As far as legend commanders go I think she gets outclassed by Jodah in the main set. Though she gets ramp and card advantage, Jodah gets essentially double the value per legendary cast.
@@MadHatterYT ok thank. in fact I wanted to know if it could be competitive just in a small specialized shop tournament? not necessarily the big dueling tournaments order where cedh.
@@keoma6077 Maybe, it really depends on how powerful decks are at that shop. I think she's a pretty viable and powerful commander. She isn't too expensive to cast and both here first two abilities are very useful overall. I don't think her ult is really worth working up to, but if can certainly close games. I think her viability really depends more on what legends you put in the deck. Dihada is more of a utility card then one that carries the game.

Felidar Guardian may be worth looking at for some value on blinking Dihada or any etb effects we have. Or ya know with Kiki-Jiki!

Great production value on video
Legendary Tribal is just too cool of a concept. I’m sure there will be some new Legendary cards in future that will be must-includes as well.
What cards do you think also synergize with Dihada? Do you have any suggestions for commanders to build around in the future? Let me know!

@@sloanmurray6799 Thanks for all the suggestions! Luxior is actually a really interesting alternate play style. xD That's cool synergy for voltron.
Goblin bombardment. Pairs very well especially considering dihadas ult
Very helpful for constructing my precon upgrade

I agree Green does have it way to easy. Mono-Green is almost WUBRG at this point lol
Its why i run land destruction for when the green player is getting out of hand especially Wake of Destruction
