bruised ribs are usually more painful than broken ones.. ive had both ( in afghanistan), it's annoying but far from where you cannot do things. .

I have very few favorite You Tubers and you make the day when you have content. Nice tent and stove. I was eating a bacon zuke (co stars of the meal) /w potato jalapeño sweet pepper onion garlic burrito when you started sharing your dinner... and yes, I am on first name terms w Zuke lol... what I like about your channel is that you converse with us as if we were right there on site and also your intelligent informative snippets...such as the tree i.d.'s but mainly I love love whenever anyone younger uses old timey sayings like I learned from my oldsters... 'Piss and Vinegar' indeed!

Really trying to figure out the differences between them, their uses (i.e. white oak being a mild pain relief & birch bark being good for tinder), you got any links to help me figure out the key differences in any season?

oh, btw, I have this exact same stove for a couple of years now. Awesome stove, very robust. There are two things to consider though.
1. Don’t use the air valve behind the fire. An exit control of airflow behind the fire is not a good way to control the combustion. i.e. CO. you know.
2. the front door doesn’t seal well when shut, so I used a glass fiber insulation, glued with heat resistant glue to insulate the door, so you have better airflow control.

zucchini with minced garlic and sauteed in olive oil is amazing also maybe even some diced onion and bell pepper if you looking for a veggie meal.

Great video. I love the idea of a woodstove in a tent. Have you ever thought about going old school? Canvas tent with a woodstove and a wool blanket or 2 in a bedroll? Maybe even a wide-brim Stetson and a Henry lever action rifle? 🤠🐺
All you need now is a stove fan for when it gets really cold so you can really get the air flow going really well in extreme cold and if your going to leave tent up bring a cot next time maybe
