Sir I noticed that in my locality the main pipelines along the streets are different in different streets. One that runs through my street was smaller in circumference as compared to the adjoining street. I Want to know whether that would decrease the water pressure to the households of our street or it won't effect the pressure. Someone told that the water supply through this pipe system ensures uniformity of pressure in the whole locality indifferent to the size of pipeline of the streets. Please clarify.
See, all the pipeline design are checked with a proper flow of testing of water before getting laid in public utility area. Yes, diameter plays a important role but all the design have their own unique requirement. So, can't be questioned on the basis of smaller diameter or larger diameter. All the schemes are designed to deliver water to each and every household.

Product which i used in my presentation was made up of with the as per specifications of ISO-4427/4437 so that is so flexible and bendable. It is called MDPE Pipe..
How much length of MDPE pipe can be provided for a household
Generally it is recommended by the department of Rural Water Supply. It should be around 10 metres in length for each household. If anything extra is required then consumers can pay extra to the contractor for extension of line in length.

Sir what is the fitting charge per meter hdpe pipe under JJM
See every area is different and every terrain is different. In case of excavation is possible than it should be around Rs. 40-50 per metre which includes excavation of land fixing of pipe with proper arrangements like using solvent cement and backfilling of soil as the depth of pipe is approximately 2.5 feet from the road level. And, each house connection charges should be around Rs. 250/- - 300/- per house connection from the distribution pipeline to a household. (All the material will be supplied by the contractor, even the excavation axe too.) Only labour charges I am talking about here.

If you ask me, frankly i would recommend you to use Gun Metal Ferrule, as brass ferrule in India are not manufactured as per the standard. So, we have to bear the defect liability for years. So, we recommend not to use Brass ferrule. Thanks

You need transitional fitting. You can convert the GI line to any Plastic line (HDPE or PVC)

As you want to know the completion date of this "Har Ghar Jal" scheme under JJM. Sir, i would like to inform you about this one as one of most incredeble project and it's going on in full swing across India. And, the operation is 100% in rural areas. And, due to rainfall we all suffer every year 3-4 months all the job gets stopped across India during monsoon.
But, nevertheless all the state across India are trying thier level best to complete the work. Total House Service Connection (HSC) under JJM project is 15 crore HSC. So, it's not so easy job which can be done overnight. I think by end of 2024 or early of 2025 i see this project to be completed across India.

Actually the product above in the video its a replacement for ferrule, and instead of ferrule you can call it flow control valve. Which can monitor your flow of water to each and every household. How high can the water rise?
This entire Pipeline is designed to operate in 6kg pressure. So high can be determined it can reach upto high rise building upto 5 storey with 15mm bore Pipeline.
Sir after we inject final blue pipe to system... We can directly erect it vertically and proceed.. Or bring it in slope through earth at place of connection...
