100%. Some people still love hating on Hafu and it makes me realize how important she is to be exactly where she is and how she deserves it and even more.
her and Alliestrasza were two of the first women content creators i enjoyed watching because they skilled, intelligent, modest women there for the game not the looks... granted they are both beautiful women thats just not all there is
Seeing them always makes me feel old bc I remember the old days of Hafu doing arena runs while most other HS streamers were constructed players or Toast wearing the gigantic toast mask on stream
I remember playing against Hafu in Arena when she first started streaming Hearthstone. We matched in queue back to back - I won the first game topdecking and she crushed me second game because she remembered every card I played first game and counter-played me so hard that I stood no chance. I remember getting destroyed, looking at her screen name, and thinking "Hey I think Hafu's a streamer I watch on Twitch."
OMG I remember when Toast was first "unmasked"! And back in the day Hafu was the big streamer that supported lil Toast that was new to the scene. Good times.
Hafu has gone through so much. I think some people give her crap for being stubborn but the thing is, you gotta develop extreme resilience and an unwavering mindset to survive the scene as one if not THE first female esports player out there. Will always be rooting for her :3
Man, I really miss Toast and Hafu amongus lobbies so much. If they would make lobbies again, I just hope that others would remind about the stress they got to make the lobbies by not doing those trolls and conversations out of the game which they can do after amongus.
I've realized recently that part of what made the lobbies work--both, although I'm particularly thinking of the Crewfu--is the blend of humor and fun mixed with serious efforts to win the game. When I watch lobbies that have played continuously for years, everyone is strategic and competitive but it becomes difficult to follow. That slice of chaos DK brings, or the absurd humor Steve excels at, or Janet's upbeat, tension-breaking communication--those are the elements that make Hafu's lobby stand out. I feel like she lucked into an excellent shared energy that balanced humor and competition and helped make the game what it was.
Steve and Janet are a thing now and Janet was Toasts ex soooo maybe that has something to do with it. 😬 I definitely only clicked this to see if Stebon would be talked about and him missing from the list just feels awkward 😅
I love this episode. The energy given when 2 long time friends who are now busy finally got time to catch up. Both giving so much respect to each other.
Hafu makes such a great point and one thing I've always hated is people ask in any list "where is this person?" and it's like, it's a group or list of 10-12-15 people, you'd have to take out someone yet no one ever mentions who to take out.
8:33 100% agree. Hafu, to me, is a super hardcore tryhard. It's why I love her - you know she's going to go in hard on whatever she's doing. She'll outwork her competition and is ultra competitive without being toxic. Among Us really doesn't fit that mold. Toast, on the other hand, seems like he'd be perfect for Among Us. He played weird, non-tier-1 HS decks _(Toast was probably the best quest mage player of his era, but quest mage wasn't that good),_ tells risque jokes, and wears a giant toast head to play in HS tournaments. As it turns out, both styles worked in Among Us; Hafu was a murderous competitor who also had fun, and Toast was a fun-loving jokester who was a tough competitor.
I was really into HS in 2015-2017, so naturally became a huge fan of these two. It’s so nostalgic seeing these two together and see how they’ve grown (with Among Us boom). Hafu is honestly such an underrated gamer. it’s nice to see more exposure of her history with MLG WoW and HS, and being a pioneer for women in the gaming scene
Among all the awful things that happened during the pandemic it's amazing that we can highlight something so great, fun and wholesome like those Toast and Hafu lobbies 💖 Thank u TL for this!
If the scene wouldn't have been so toxic and chased Hafu out, she would have won many esports titles. She has always been top tier in all the games she's played.
God I used to watch hafu when she was a zyra one-trick and here and there since then. Love this series! Also the competitive question was just perfect "He would say I am" "I would say you are too" "That's very obvious"
Man I remember Toast and Hafu being my 2 favorite streamer/YTer back in the early HS days (along with Dog, Amaz, and Kripp). It's just insane to me how big they have grown over the years. I still remember Toast making funny HS interaction videos and never revealing his face in the early days and then when he attended his first tourney with meme decks was the time when I was like "Oh damn okay this guy isn't just into making funny interaction videos, he's actually GOOD at this game". So amazing to see two of the most down to earth people in the scene find success all these years.
Loved this conversation - it's always nice to hear Toast and Hafu talk about life together considering how long they've known each other. I only discovered Hafu in the Among Us era, but I admire her so much for what she's gone through as a gamer and how she approaches new games today. And I love her friendship with DK!
These segments keeps on getting better and better! You're doing great Toast and Team Liquid :) Also ToFu supremacy! These duo are really entertaining to watch
Oh man, now that I think about it.. was that Hafu I was watching stream Diablo 3 in 2013? I was a kid studying for exams back then... how the time flies.
Love Hafu, I didn't really know who she was at the time but she would invite me to run battlegrounds with her on tichondrius for some honor farm back in the old days. She's a real one
oh wow i didn't expect to watch the whole thing, great talk Toast and Hafu! it was cool hearing about Hafu's WoW pro days, she was a fellow MMO gamer 😂
God I love listening to hafu. She is such a sleeper gamer. By her bubbly personality and self depreciation you think you are better than her at games. And then she plays and is one of the best gamer minds I have ever seen and has a long history to back it up. Her analytical abilities are so good. And is such a sweetheart. I love hafu
Hate on Hafu always perplexed me, she was an OG in esports who've won tournuments in WoW and transitioned to Hearthstone and was a top player there too. It just made me realize that there are people out there that just hate on women for whatever dumb reason they make up in their mind
Love these two Toast and Hafu are one of the very first esports players who becomes streamers. These two are one of the early pioneers of esports and streaming.
I feel like they are like those old friends to each other who you just really enjoy have a good past together but life just worked out in a way where you don't see them anymore. But you'll always be friends and when you do see them again they'll remind you of that and you will for them too. Love seeing their comradery,
Two of my favourite Hearthstone players... followed them after Hearthstone... I remember when they played a few collab games together and their nickname was ToFu... Let's go ToFu...
Mannnn I love these two and I’m so happy Hafu is still around and thriving because I remember she used to get A LOT of hate and sexist stuff back in the early MLG/Hearthstone/League of Legends days. I’m glad she persevered, an actual streaming/gaming community OG that doesn’t get her flowers enough 🥲
I have so much respect for hafu. Going way back, yep her name has been around. Women in the gaming industry get so much flack it's ridiculous. I just enjoy how lively the interview was because she's very comfortable talking to toast. Their chemistry is very fun to watch.
I can be doing any random thing and in my head I hear Hafu say "Deafen!" The Toast and Hafu lobbies were the only lobbies I'd actively seek to watch on Twitch or the VODs after.
I love the emission, and I understand why there is a toast gimmick, but I am not a big fan of the toast scaring everyone and totally interrupting the interesting conversation that was going on
They (and dogdog) were the first streamers I watched when I started playing Hearthstone! I actually had never been on Twitch until the pandemic due to work, and was so surprised to see two Hearthstone players wanting to play a social deduction game. Turned out it was the best thing to watch during WFH and couldn't get enough.
I watched start to finish. My 2 favorite Among Us creators talked, laughed, and really had a celebrity level 1x1. I miss the days you two would play together. I hope to see more collaborations. Thank you.
I was hoping and waiting for the HAFU Stretch topic wherein everytime she is the impostor she always stretch😆 DK is always funny and a homie thats why i love watching him in his streams!
Hafu doesn’t get enough credit as a pioneer for women in the esports and streaming scene. She’s a legend.
100%. Some people still love hating on Hafu and it makes me realize how important she is to be exactly where she is and how she deserves it and even more.

@@Terry.M.I. omg you neckbeard incels are so boring, do you even know how to compliment a woman without trying to talk down other types of women?
Ha I get it. some would call her a "legend" hearthstone player
Because thats a meaningless title
We need more Toast and Hafu content 😭🤌🏼
Agreed, I love this. I didn't realize how far back they went.
Yeah they bring such a nice vibe when combined
I need *
We need more Tofu content.
Two people talking is way too underrated
It's usually called a podcast and they're quite popular
@@na3rial There's always the "underrated" guy in the comments. As always, totally moronic.
Seeing them always makes me feel old bc I remember the old days of Hafu doing arena runs while most other HS streamers were constructed players or Toast wearing the gigantic toast mask on stream
Yup. Hafu was the Arena queen and Toast was finding new ways to break the game. Glorious days those were!
@@SaniatAhmedChoudhury Some of his old wombo combo videos still make me laugh. Good ol Toast.
@@RineMeerstead play the sax!

you can really see how toast feels more comfortable with Hafu than with almost every other person that has been on the show by the way he laughs
Thank you Toast and Hafu for the Among Us lobbies you made during the pandemic.
100% relatable...
I agree,. 🥰
Truly
Big same 🥰
Steve not in the bracket because they knew he'd win by virtue of being the main character.
hahaha i agree
That's what I wanted to hear😭
Hafu and Toast are too good
DK SUPREMACY!! He's my favorite honestly, the most genuinely funny and chaotic. I'm always bummed when he's not in the lobby.
He also looks genuinly very kind
Hafu’s story is so inspiring. Such a twitch OG.
Man, I really miss Toast and Hafu amongus lobbies so much. If they would make lobbies again, I just hope that others would remind about the stress they got to make the lobbies by not doing those trolls and conversations out of the game which they can do after amongus.
Hafu's group plays weekly on Wednesday mornings
oh god, its the among us lobbies?? Not the hearthstone day?? Holy shit i am old
Fax

I love that they have such great respect for each other and gush about each other whenever they can
steve not making the among us segment is insane omfg
(great video!)
Stebon is essential to the morning lobbies imo
Steve and Janet are a thing now and Janet was Toasts ex soooo maybe that has something to do with it. 😬 I definitely only clicked this to see if Stebon would be talked about and him missing from the list just feels awkward 😅
So glad I found this comment, otherwise I would think Steve was just a figment of their imagination
Boo hoo
I loved when they played it takes two together it was hilarious
They Speedrun that shit, it's amazing!

A reunion! I was waiting for this ever since Hafu tweeted a pic with Toast.
DK with the W in among us, maybe a rare sight but always fullfilling

They seem to be doing well because they are different enough and live their own lives too. Good for them
Among all the awful things that happened during the pandemic it's amazing that we can highlight something so great, fun and wholesome like those Toast and Hafu lobbies 💖
Thank u TL for this!
That "i dont know" answer is my most favourite question-answer ever
Usually people tried to guess, but both saying it is really sweet
If the scene wouldn't have been so toxic and chased Hafu out, she would have won many esports titles. She has always been top tier in all the games she's played.
TOFU OH MY GOD 😭 I MISSED SEEING THEM TOGETHER 😭
So fitting that Hafu and Dogdog just skipped straight to moving in together; even in dating she's got no time for casuals and goes straight to pro
Toast and Hafu content is S Tier.
God I used to watch hafu when she was a zyra one-trick and here and there since then. Love this series!
Also the competitive question was just perfect
"He would say I am"
"I would say you are too"
"That's very obvious"
Hafu is such a great person and streamer (from what I have seen). Great to see some additional spotlight on her.

Truly enjoyed this conversation between Hafu and Toast!
Having dk and kimi in the bottom 2 was cinematic justice
I didn't know Hafu started in WoW! That's a very interesting story to hear.

This is an excellent show. Shout outs to both of these two keeping me entertained during some of the darker days of the pandemic!
This discussion was so sweet! I’ve always loved Hafu and Toast interaction
Maaaaaaaaaaaaaan, I love the relationship of these two. Very good friends who have respect for each other.
Love these two. And Toast is such a good host. He looks genuinely engaged while listening to Hafu. It’s nice to see!

11:37 it's a great story, but I've heard it before
Where was Steve in the Eject game 😢 he’s more core to the lobby than a couple that were included
true
I love this show so much, I hope it keeps going until all of OTV+F have come to the shpw
Definitely going to rewatch the game w/ DK as swapper after that bracket.
DK - You know who will never betray you? ME!
Let;s go! I am so excited to watch this! Cozy sitting and listening to this 2 og friends.
I haven't watched Hafus content since 2018. Glad to see she's still around

am literally watching "it takes two" by these two and its amazing that this came out xD
Love these two Toast and Hafu are one of the very first esports players who becomes streamers. These two are one of the early pioneers of esports and streaming.
The what in Corolado part made me wheeze, but the competitive part made me lose it, lolllllllll
These are really fun to watch!
Still fondly remember Hafu and Toast in the old Hearthstone days. So happy to see them do well in life and continue to be amazing.
love both of them
Long overdue Hafu and Toast interaction
Love when the 2 big brains combine.
I love their friendship. I love seeing them together. ❤

Huh, I've never heard of this content before. Interesting. Good to see Toast and Hafu chatting. I feel like it has been a while.
Years down the road when we're all old and reminiscing, people will remember these two of the greatest to ever do it.
I love the emission, and I understand why there is a toast gimmick, but I am not a big fan of the toast scaring everyone and totally interrupting the interesting conversation that was going on
Watching this make me realize that the hearthstone era was 4-5 years ago and that i am old
Steve should be up against DumbDog on first bracket
Steve over Smajor for sure. Scott's great, but he's the least relevant of these 8.
imagine they had a hearthstone match while talking about this 🤣
They (and dogdog) were the first streamers I watched when I started playing Hearthstone! I actually had never been on Twitch until the pandemic due to work, and was so surprised to see two Hearthstone players wanting to play a social deduction game. How did I just discover this segment? I love Hafu and Toast content!
I hope this series live long enough till we get bigger and bigger streamer/ youtuber
I basicly binged those two, Hearthstone and Among us. Learned so much!
dog saying i dont know was peak dogdog
Love seeing these two together to bad tofu won't be born anytime soon guys good luck next time toast
I watched start to finish. My 2 favorite Among Us creators talked, laughed, and really had a celebrity level 1x1.
I miss the days you two would play together. I hope to see more collaborations.
Thank you.
Hafu is the most wholesome tryhard in the history of gaming.
One of my favorite RUclips shows :)
i love the duo. really fun interview 💕
I was hoping and waiting for the HAFU Stretch topic wherein everytime she is the impostor she always stretch😆 DK is always funny and a homie thats why i love watching him in his streams!
Best Rivalry IMO, from Hearthstone to Among Us Lobbies
Hafu & Toast Among us lobby is golden time
This one took me back lol, great to see them both doing well after moving on from Hearthstone
OG ToFu
That was so fun to watch thank you! 😊
Based on Toast's clothes. This is the day DSG won against *a team i dont remember the name of* and actually finished earlier than expected. Lmao
Really love these episodes of *Two People Talking* ❤ Very happy that Hafu got to make an appearance on here!
Wild to see Smajor on that eject tree since like, he’s obviously not known for his among us content.
Hafu and Toast is such a throwback :)
11:53 dang I wanted to hear the rest of that story! :P
