This is no zoo. I've seen this women with these baby apes in many other videos. I probably don't even want to know how these babies ended up here. The videos I've seen, including this one, these little babies are pretty much tortured. One was a chimp baby chained up like this smacking around a much smaller baby orangutan. Whatever these people can do to these animals for money they will do. I'm pretty sure, for the right price, they will feed them to you for dinner after you're done playing with them. Disgusting! People like this, Including the poachers who murder the mothers so they can steal these babies, make me ashamed to be a human.
After watching the legitimate animal care and rescue sites, especially the Orangatangs rescue videos and knowing how they got these baby monkeys, this video is a million times more offensive. These baby's were taken from their dead mothers and their mothers were most likely killed to get the baby's. At best, their mothers were killed by poachers and illegal hunting. These baby's need to be rescued and taken OFF THE CHAINS AND OUT OF THE TINY CAGES and give to real animal rescue people. Orangatangs are an endangered species.
Although that does happen you can’t say for certain that’s how they got these babies. Despite popular opinion chimpanzee mothers aren’t that sentimental about their infants. Sometimes when they perceive danger they will abandon an infant if they have to in order to get away. Sometimes hunter will come across abandoned baby chimps screaming for their mother but no mothers. This especially happens if a mother has two infants. They will chose to save the stronger of the two and abandon the weaker. Chimpanzee society can be very brutal. I have read reports that observed infants being killed by their own troop members and then cannibalized often with its own mother begging for pieces of their own baby to eat. If a new alpha comes into power the infants are often killed to make make the females viable for the new alpha. There is also a famous incident were a infant chimp was dying from an illness over the course of several days to which the extent of the mothers concern was to stop cracking and eating nuts long enough to notice the baby collapsed right next to her, gave the infant a poke then went back to eating. With all that said these animals are better off in this little shit zoo.

The percentage of primate mothers that kill their own offspring is 0.00 and as for them abandoning them that percentage is 0.00 so both are false.
