Margaret Tudor Pretty much why he's mad a lot is because of his disability, brittle bone disorder. Pain does make people more prone to getting angry so I can understand why he feels such. Björn and Ivar are my favorite of the sons of Ragnar. Even with his disability, he's an amazing warrior.

They could have spared him a great deal of pain and humiliation by explaining to him that it doesn't always work the first time and that there are other ways to make a girl happy...or better yet, Bjorn should have warned the lot of them not to sleep with the help, considering how well his relationship with Thorunn worked out!
