I have almost pulled the trigger on this exact watch so many times on your website… This video may have pushed me over the edge lol

I love the sub dials being placed to the left side of the watch, leaving ample room for a day date complication. Far too often with watches with three sub dials, the dials are placed symmetrically, with the one dial situated on the left, the other on the right, and one right above the 6 o'clock position. This layout is far more unique. The finishing of the watch is nice, and I love the blue accents. However, coming from a guy with embarrassingly small wrists, I wish the case diameter and thickness were a few millimeters smaller.

Another good video, Teddy. A small correction: you referred to the Aikon "Ventura" models (I recall you did this in another ML video as well). The model is actually called the "Venturer," a play on adventure, I think. Perhaps you have the Hamilton Ventura stuck in your head?

Great looking auto chronograph and thanks for featuring it. Love the shape and styling. A little large for my 6.5 in wrist though.

What a gorgeous watch I just wish the chronograph came in and 41 mm 44 is just a bit too big in my opinion
To all you watch enthusiast, I’d love some help/input/suggestions I am in between this Maurice L Aikon or the Tudor royal day date
The Aikon chronograph 44mm is a bit to big for me so I’d be looking at the regular 41mm Aikon
I’m looking to spend maximum $2500 to $3000 Swiss automatic watchs only
Thank you Teddy for another great video as always

Love the Maurice Lacroix Aikon, if they can get the chrono size down to 40-41 mm just how they released the standard Aikon in 39 then this will be a must-buy for many. At the current size however, it's a bit too large.

    • @larryfishkind5387
      @larryfishkind5387 Год назад +1

I could not agree more. It is a beauty but 44 mm it’s just too big my preferred size anywhere from 39 to 41 1/2.

A great looking piece Teddy. The Valjoux 7750 that this uses is very well proven so as you say should be easy to get it serviced. This watch is also one of the few that allows a clear view of this movement with decoration.. The dial is simple yet draws the eye in to the tiled surface and as you mention the blue chapter ring is a really nice touch that correctly divides the seconds with the beat rate of the movement (4Hz). Homage or not I think it's a great looking watch with a good workhorse movement,

I looked at that watch so many times. Its a even better Deal than the PRX i would say. There was also a off white/ blue version.

The most noteworthy thing is the 200 m water resistance actually with screwed down pushers.

they should make a slimmer quartz model that would give Tissot a run for their money with their PRX line

It's a more affordable option but does not hold its value at all I've seen them for 1/2 price just like Monta looses 1/2 its value on pre owned.

Good video but I’m not a fan of this one. Even if my wrist was big enough, I think it’s definitely too “knock-offish” of the AP. Definitely nice for some, just not me particularly

Such a gorgeous watch, ruined by its size and thickness. This in 40/41 at 12-13mm would have been great, or 11mm even better

Do people actually WANT an integrated bracelet? To me, that's a major downside. And bracelets like this that don't bend much, are a further downside, you can't just put them face up on your desk, or fold them for transport.
