I have this recording on disk and it's wonderful music-making, every bit the equal of Ringeissen's and McCallum's interpretations, if not better. I first heard Mark's playing 10 years ago, when he sent me a studio recording of Alkan's Symphony for solo piano for upload to RUclips (it's still here thankfully). He's a wonderful musician and, more than that, a very warm-hearted young man with an inquiring mind. I hope to meet him again someday.
