I prefer the theory where Johan/Jesse is the reincarnation of the Crystal Keeper and if you don’t know who the Crystal Keeper is it is an official Yu-Gi-Oh card of a guy that looks exactly like Johan/Jesse that just has blond hair and the Crystal Keeper looks like he’s from the same time period where Judai/Jaden’s past live self is from (which also shows that Judai/Jaden and Johan/Jesse are romantic soulmates since romantic soulmates are known to have already have met each other in their past lives) and Yubel’s human form actually doesn’t look like Johan/Jesse at all either.

Yugi and Joey are really best friends, their chemistry is not at all similar to Johan and Jaden's, even if Yu-jo has hugged several times and Yugi said "I love you" to Joey. Johan and Jaden were made very differently. To the point that many viewers feel the need to question the nature of their dynamic.

The voice actor for Johan is female. It's actually pretty common for young male characters to be voiced by women. Other examples of this are Naruto (from Naruto), Luffy (One Piece), and Edward Elric (FMAB/FMA). I don't think it's rude to ask tbh, it is kind of interesting and it's crazy how talented some of these voice actors are.
Voiced by a woman, which is common across the board for young male characters. He does sound particularly feminine though in this case but I personally really like his voice. Can't stand how they made him sound in the English haha

There's something that I don't get about his voice in the sub on why his voice actor is a female. Why didn't find another male actor to do Johan that way he'll sound like a male. no offense to everybody its just my opinion I think having to get a female voice for a 17 year old where him and Judai are the same age. I can't believe they messed by not having a male actor to voice Yohan which it worked For Judai and all the male characters (except for Sho his voice in both versions are annoying)
It’s quite common in Japan for females to be casts as young male characters. Also it’s 2020, and having a female voice a male shouldn’t be an issue at all just cause the character doesn’t sound “male”.

I think it's because they're making him the opposite of Judai in terms of appearance: 1. Blue vs red color scheme 2. Judai wears black underneath, Johan wears white 3. Judai's jacket has long extensions, Johan's jacket is as short as a crop top. 4. Judai leaves his black shirt untucked and it's desheveled from the backside because of his pocket bulging, Johan tucks his white shirt in his pants 5. Judai has long sleeves for his jacket while Johan's is sleeveless. 6. Johan has a V neck that exposes more of his skin while Judai has a turtleneck that covers more in S4. 7.Iirc Judai's black clothing is short-sleeved pre-s4, Johan's white clothing even has frills besides being long-sleeved. 8. Judai has white pants pre-S4, Johan's is black. 9. Johan wears brown/white long boots while Judai wears red/black short boots. 10. Johan is taller and more muscular than Judai, but has a feminine voice. Judai is less muscular and shorter but has a guy voice Also a female voicing a male teen is nothing out of the ordinary in Japan. What makes Johan stand out so much to you compared to the others?

Honestly I like the two of them together as twin brothers/friends. In the English dubbed I really love Jesse’s accent and his crystal beasts deck especially Ruby and the cat. I wish that I would have the crystal beasts deck they looked really cool and some of them are cute.

The voice actor for Johan is female. It's actually pretty common for young male characters to be voiced by women. Other examples of this are Naruto (from Naruto), Luffy (One Piece), and Edward Elric (FMAB/FMA). I don't think it's rude to ask tbh, it is kind of interesting and it's crazy how talented some of these voice actors are.
Voiced by a woman, which is common across the board for young male characters. He does sound particularly feminine though in this case but I personally really like his voice. Can't stand how they made him sound in the English haha

There's something that I don't get about his voice in the sub on why his voice actor is a female. Why didn't find another male actor to do Johan that way he'll sound like a male. no offense to everybody its just my opinion I think having to get a female voice for a 17 year old where him and Judai are the same age. I can't believe they messed by not having a male actor to voice Yohan which it worked For Judai and all the male characters (except for Sho his voice in both versions are annoying)

It’s quite common in Japan for females to be casts as young male characters. Also it’s 2020, and having a female voice a male shouldn’t be an issue at all just cause the character doesn’t sound “male”.

I think it's because they're making him the opposite of Judai in terms of appearance:
1. Blue vs red color scheme
2. Judai wears black underneath, Johan wears white
3. Judai's jacket has long extensions, Johan's jacket is as short as a crop top.
4. Judai leaves his black shirt untucked and it's desheveled from the backside because of his pocket bulging, Johan tucks his white shirt in his pants
5. Judai has long sleeves for his jacket while Johan's is sleeveless.
6. Johan has a V neck that exposes more of his skin while Judai has a turtleneck that covers more in S4.
7.Iirc Judai's black clothing is short-sleeved pre-s4, Johan's white clothing even has frills besides being long-sleeved.
8. Judai has white pants pre-S4, Johan's is black.
9. Johan wears brown/white long boots while Judai wears red/black short boots.
10. Johan is taller and more muscular than Judai, but has a feminine voice. Judai is less muscular and shorter but has a guy voice

Honestly I like the two of them together as twin brothers/friends. In the English dubbed I really love Jesse’s accent and his crystal beasts deck especially Ruby and the cat. I wish that I would have the crystal beasts deck they looked really cool and some of them are cute.
