    Playing TCGs for 15+ years and just started out with Pokémon TCG. This series is AWESOME! Its the best TCG introduction I have ever seen. And its not just some random clickbait video, as most of the PKM videos i've found.

      Yeah, she kinda goes into a lot of like... Meta stuff you don't really need to worry about, instead of right into the stuff that matters.
      She should have separated the video into casual deck building and competitive.

We understand mostly how to identify cards, but maybe have a short video on identifying the rares? I've started constructing an Expanded Darkrai deck to be able to play with, there is a game store near me that do leagues and tournaments, I also purchased the trainer toolkit and a Zacian and ADP theme deck to practice with and build off of. I'm excited to be learning to play even if for the most part I just do league stuff because it will be super fun to engage with other people who enjoy Pokemon like I do. These videos are absolutely fantastic and so informative!

    Hey Frosty, been watching quite a few of your vids lately and loving the content. Really like this series explaining the TCG. I got into it a little while back and somehow fumbled a deck together (it had Lucario & Melmetal tag) but really only played like 3 or 4 games which I did quite well considering it was my first few games. Will definitely be giving it another go, well once I’ve got something I can play it on. Why no mobile or Switch version to download? Would make the game a lot more accessible to people. Sad times ☹️ but il get in there soon, buy a laptop or something. Keep up the great work 👍🏼

    I got back into Pokemon recently after getting back into Yu-Gi-Oh, I find it interesting that you'd reccomend control decks in pkmn for skilled players. I always suggest stun decks for beginners in ygo, but then again you do interact with your opponent much more so it's best to get the hang of that first.
    Thanks for posting Frost

    My deck is named “Mind over Matter” it started as a psychic/fighting deck but I realized how little I used the fighting Pokémon so now it’s mainly psychic, I main Alakazam V and Indeedee V. That way I have the option to deal damage if they have more cards in their hands or if you have tons of energy attached. Most of the time, I can knock out Pokémon fast with either Pokémon depending on what my opponents runs. I win a decent amount.

    Brand new to this after not playing in 10+ years and this was a great series. Thanks for the effort. Any chance you'll do any deck building tips based on current meta/latest cars releases etc? As we move into 2022 rotations

    I just picked the game up to play with my daughter. I chose the Palkia precon. As a long time Magic player I understand card advantage, and the biggest challenge for me is Supporter selection. Prof Research is a re-hand, but doing that means I can't accelerate with Melony or Boss an enemy for a kill... so it just feels unproductive, despite drawing a new hand. The limitation on supports also means balancing Irida versus Ultra balls for pokemon fetching. Thank you for making a very simple-yet-detailed video that's also very easy on the eyes ;}
