I was really leanin toward tha Vortex Defender CCW, but, with some hesitation, I pulled tha trigger ontha MidwayUSA Fastfire C deal. (I'm'a cheapskate, and, if I'd been able to find'a deal on'a Defender, that wouldabeen that...) I'd heard reports of inadvertent button activation, and I even corresponded w/your Cust Serv, to see what they had to say. They said this issue only occurred with certain gun/light combos, which I found ali'l suspect. And, they said the "solution" was to raise the button shroud height on later specimens (Will mine be a "later specimen"? Or, is that WHY I got a "deal"?), which kinda helps, but doesn't address the root cause, which seems to be that the button is too easily activated, and, if you havit set on "auto", tha next click is OFF, which'd leavu in'a pickle, in'a defensive encounter! My intended purpose is to mount on'a 940 Pro, so the button issue's less likely to be an issue, in that scenario, but I'd like to have confidence that I can put this dot on any gun, without worryin about any design flaws rearin their ugly heads.
    My FF-C should arrive 2morrow. I'll keep u (And evry1 else!) posted...
