I bought the same exact mower a couple months ago and it’s a beast. I love it and recommend it highly. Also my first self propelled mower and I’m sold.

You’re really going to like this machine and you’ll never regret becoming its first owner. My fried Jose and I both went to Home Depot on the same day eighteen years ago each to buy ourselves new mowers. He bought a Honda and I bought a Toro Recycler with a Honda motor and ironically we both bought new mowers this year. He bought a new Honda while I bought my first cordless electric mower a Toro 60v Recycler. I use my powered mower once per week when I rake beforehand but I mow three times per week with a manual reel mower by Hudson Star. I’m in Florida and have Bermuda grass.
You’re correct that these are fantastic outdoor vacuums.
    Best of luck.

Thank you that help me. When unboxing my bag rack was pushed down under the front plate and behind the front wheel. So I had to remove the wheel to start.... Then I had to laugh when trying to figure out how to set up the catch bag.... You helped me. Thanks. From Florida

Just purchased this lawn mower. Glad to see so many people with good experiences with it. It seems like I made the right choice!

I have been repairing outdoor power equipment for over a decade at this point, and Honda makes some of the best in the industry. I routinely see Honda machines from the 1980's that just need basic tune-ups and function perfectly. I literally cannot say that about any other engine manufacturer.

I have a 216 bought new in 2006. 15 years old. You should always let a engine idle for a couple of minutes before shut off. With that model you cannot idle down .bad for the engine. You get what is “heat sock”

Greatest mower I ever bought. Keep a Velcro strap on the handle to use when you need to empty the bag👌🏽(because releasing the handle turns it off)

Yeah buddy! Nice to see you doing a review on one of these bad boys. Not only do I collect vacuums, I have a collection of lawn mowers too. As I watch more of your videos I realize that you have the same passion for engine's and motors. Keep it up, I really enjoy your videos.

Great choice. Honda makes very good lawnmowers. As long as you take care of it, it will last a very long time.

FYI, @ 9:11. the Prop 65 from California was one of the big reasons that Honda is ceasing production of lawn mowers as of 9/23....thanks for that State of La la Land..

Great video and unboxxing. I must admit though I don't think I'd have you mow my lawn. Idk if I've ever seen anyone mow in circles... I've seen squares even triangles but not circles lmao whatever works I guess

The mulch/collector lever allows you to do one or the other, while also doing a 50/50 mulch/bag. Great machine.

The belt is exposed without a cover? What stops the clipping from clogging it up?

It runs like new still. I am going to do an oil change soon on it. It's over due. The bag is a little small but I don't use the bag most of the time.

Why does the mower need 2 blades? is one mulch-cutting blade not enough?

Nice looking machine, but it has an awful lot of plastic where it should be metal. I might still buy one though when my 1996 Toro super recycler stops running. It has one of those crappy briggs and Stratton motors on it, so it should be any year now!

Making and viewing unboxing videos is a form of mental illness...

    • @teddymexico

Why? Instead of 15 minutes of reading tiny print in a manual, you can watch/listen to a video and just skip to the part you need.
