No press no stress. I usually play the side bets Perfect pair, the casino in Toronto pays 30/1 for a perfect pair i hit perfect pair back to back once.
Dealer doesn't bust 65% on a 5, they bust 43%... 42% on a 6...40% on a 4...38% on a 3...and 35% on a 2...18% on an A. The 5 busts slightly higher because you could draw an A for 16. Dealer 7=23%..8=24%..9=24% and a face 26%. Advanced BJ players employ the 4-5 rule on 3 card 16's, if you have a 4 or 5 in your total you stand, else hit. Hope this helped a little. good luck

Yes I love sitting on the couch and counting down the deck and watching people play blackjack. But two decks with one deck cut is barely beatable. And it is so easy to get backed off at this club. It happened to me for sure. Too many times. Also the Horseshoe. How many times do you see a high count and then the cut card comes out. When I’m in Vegas trying to sneak by as a counter, I avoid the El. Card counting is like riding a bicycle for me. I can’t Not count cards! Your cover play is really good., better than mine. When you have a pair of 8s and dealer has a high card and the count is high and you can’t surrender your best bet is to stand. This is still a losing hand. Keep money off the table.

Unfortunately now that they took away double after splitting on the lower limit tables, I won't be going back to El Cortez. It's sad because I used to love going there to play blackjack, but getting rid of the player friendly rules really sucks

You hit 12 against a 2 or 3 hun. Not against 5. Print out a basic strategy card online for BJ. You can use them at casino. Some even sell them there, but it's rare.❤
