Loved the series! I found you because of Tileman and ended up binging all of swampletics over a weekend when I discovered that. Super excited to see what you do next!
Glad you started one of these channels. I love your insight on the game and the way you can make every little action enjoyable and interesting. Really looking forward to the next project! Hope to also see a lot more on this channel in the future
Love the second channel idea! After watching tileman twice, I was craving more Settled content so I went back and restarted swampletics. Truly excited for whatever wild stuff you decide to do next
Thank you for the years of content. You single-handedly got me back into RuneScape, I haven't played since OS but since Swampletics you've introduced me to a world of content and so many different creators. Enjoy your break, it's well deserved!
Love your series and your rambles. I'm one of the people who never played OSRS (I did play RS2 from 2003-2009 though) but the nostalgia of this game makes it one of my favourite games to watch. I tried to play it again like a year ago but I was so clumpsy with the camera control and realized that it would not be worth the grind for me. I love to see you sweat 50 hours in 10 seconds and share your sigh of relieve when it's over.
i really appreciate the fact that you keep it simple in terms of explaining mechanics and stuff. ive been on and off of osrs for like 10 years now but ive never gotten any where close to end game stuff so a lot of it is over my head
I watched both vids all the way through :) You are an inspiration in hard work, dedication, and good story telling. Thank you for the vids, they make my day when I see a Settled vid drop
Just wanted to pop in to say how much I loved the escape room videos. I'd absolutely watch it with low quality, even if you just do a quick and dirty edit job rather than spending a bunch of time on it. Looking forward to the new series, and congrats on the cape!
Thank you for making this series. I knew nothing about osrs when I started watching, but it got me hooked and now I have over 1500 hours. There was something about the progression of unlocks, especially with a tile-restricted account, that really really clicked with what my brain wants out of entertainment. Your clue scroll grind for the msb stood out especially for this, I thought it was really cool how unlocking the different steps took effort and time, but that effort and time would keep paying off in the long run, making you stronger or saving you more time down the road. I remember thinking the Arceuus library was like, the coolest thing when you first went there on McTile. Something about how you talked about it, presented it, how it looked in your video just seemed so awesome and cool to me as a non-player. Thank you for doing what you do, and I can't wait to see the next series!
Small bit of who asked, but your content actually inspired a friend to start a group ironman with me and another friend when GIM started. I played as a kid back in 2005, but watching your content actually inspired us to finish getting things like a fire cape and stuff. I've been trying to gear for an infernal run after watching you attempt it! So your content has and always will be amazing and enjoyable to watch. Thank you for all the effort you put into everything.
I just subscribed to your brand new channel. I love helping out new players who are just starting out In uploading Rs content. Lol. I'm really loving the "behikd the scenes".
Glad to get all the videos I can from you so thanks for the second channel. I just wanted to say a few months into this year I had my own 'lost rune crossbow' moment. I was instinctually searching for things that made me feel good and re-watched Swampletics because your happiness and energy is infectious. It wasn't until weeks after I noticed the parallels between my life experience and yours. Thanks for being so entertaining
Can’t wait to see what you come up with next! I think not being a UIM for the next series is actually a great change, freeing yourself of that restriction makes it easier to restrict yourself in other ways which I have no doubt will make for even more amazing content!
You are genuinely probably the most inspiring person in gaming and beyond, in my personal opinion. The amount of purely insane things you have done in this point and click game is just ridiculous. I would love to have a fraction of the determination and dedication you have. You have single handedly breathed so much life into this game that means so much to so many of us. Not to downplay any other creator's that have done so much as well. Can't wait to see the next asinine account that pops up in my feed.
I started playing around the same time as you started your serie. Just 2 days ago, I finished Song of the Elves and tried out the gauntlet for the first time! (: I originally wanted to try it out after seeing you do it on McTile, and I'm having a lot of fun with what is pretty much my first real PvM activity!! I was always super happy to see a new upload in the serie, and I cannot wait for what you have prepared.
As an adult who has actually never seen or played RuneScape prior to this series of yours, you did an incredible job of making situations feel understandable; Without making me feel way over my head or like a idiot. I'm going to continue enjoying your content, but holy **** does it seem ridiculously scoped as a game. I would die irl from 1000's of hours of grinding before finishing half the game if unassisted by the internet or guides.
Almost 2k subs, looking good mr. Unsettled! Loved the content, definitely kept me entertained throughout! In all seriousness, loved the vids and always look forward to every upload and make my schedule clean for one when it comes out
The true king, played rs since 07 but didn’t take it seriously just as a time passer. You showed me how special the game truly is and I have watched all your series and they have all been so engaging and equally entertaining. Your humor is elite and you taught me so much about the game that I didn’t know. I made a hc ironman and it’s been so fun and so satisfying to just get a new smithing level lol Your the best, keep the grind going. Looking forward to your next journey man
I played back in 2004-2009, and have always come back to the game but never really gotten back into it until recently when the cousins & brothers made a GIM. But I have been watching OSRS content for years, even when I wasn't playing. You are one of the best OSRS content creators out there. I am not a big PVM person (dying scares me, I know it's dumb, my brothers make fun of me for it) but I so enjoy getting to watch creators take on challenges that I am not sure I'll ever be able to do due to my anxiety. Doing things like the inferno on a tile locked UIM is insane, and your ability to explain mechanics in an easy to digest fashion is amazing. I love your content, and I can't wait until the next series comes out :)
Definitely the man to thank for my resurgence back into playing Runescape, I went years of not playing and stumbled upon your first Swampletics video and it tapped into that vein of nostalgia and revived my original love for the game. Been watching your content ever since. Some of the greatest content I've watched on RUclips.
Settled, I'm so insanely excited for the new series. I absolutely LOVED Swampletics, 1 inventory and Tileman. Im genuinly super exited. You are (legit) the only content creator in my (very select) list of RUclipsrs I follow/am subscribed to, that I actually have the notification bell on!
about the 4:11 question, one of my favourite things to watch on youtube are speedruns/challengeruns done by people that have good knowledge with the game mechanics and know how to convey that knowledge in a concise and engaging way. and i think your challenge series have hit that nail right on the head
That's a fantastic way to describe your channel. A hub of fantastic bingable content. Love the series (probably swamp boy, mctile, then main uim, personally). I cannot. Wait. For this next series. Best of luck!!! Btw congrats on the infernal cape - I dont even have one on my maxed main 😅
I wondered why the 3rd escape room video wasn't released, and I actually kind of suspected that some sort of a technical brick wall was the main reason behind its absence. Thanks for clearing it up! Those escape puzzles inspired me so much, I just HAD to create a similar multi-account escape challenge for a different youtuber to solve. It was so much fun, probably the most fulfilling thing I've ever done in Runescape, Trails has made an amazing vid out of it. I'll be forever thankful to you (and Glitch, the puzzlecrafter) for the amazing idea and the beautiful execution ❤
I mainly play RS3 but I've been watching your growth from when you were grinding Skeletal Wyverns on your main UIM and I'm glad to see how far you've grown. You've inspired me to get back to playing OSRS again Hyped for future content :D
Yay thanks for making this channel. We’re here for the content but also here for the settled. Not that the settled channel doesn’t give us both… but I think some unscripttled is a nice bonus many would enjoy.
As someone who came in to join in like the 3rd moritania video and never got past getting the first rune i find the way you explain to be very good. I'm excited for the new challenge, i very much liked the theory crafting sessions and felt it was slightly missing in tile man. It felt disconnected from why did you go x instead of y. But keeping that balance and videos interesting is important and definitely worked!!!
I love the restricted, goal-driven series that you excel at, but I also really enjoy the risk aspect of, say, pvp locked hcim or hcim pursuing GM CBAs or hcim completing the wildy log. I don't know if you have any ideas to combine these aspects of restriction, goal, and risk in a new way, but a unique series that does is something I'd truly love to see you take on. Thank you for sharing your RS journeys with us regardless, I watch them all!
Love your content/vibes. Discovered swampletics while bored at my office job and wasted many an hour :) would love to see short concept runs, perhaps roleplay/themed runs where you see how far you could push things while playing using the gear of certain npcs or the like?
16k subs, man I haven't subscribed to a channel with this little amount of subscribers since J1mmy started his ironman. I've been watching since your OG UIM tho so there's no way I couldn't. Hope your new series does numbers, your content is one of the few things I keep up with even when I take breaks from the game.
I have to thank you for getting me into OSRS ironman and back to the game as a whole. I had burnt out of the main game like 5 years prior when I first discovered Swampletics. Watched it, then proceeded to binge it. You got me back into the game of my childhood.
You could make an account (ironman of course) which can only use/acquire/interact with items that are yellow, with the goal to acquire 575 different yellow items (575 nm is the wavelength of yellow light). If you want to make it extra challenging you could pick another colour (which would exclude the usage of coins!). Or you could choose a different goal - like some boss. I have no idea how feasible this idea is, but might be fun or at least trigger some other fun ideas :) Super hyped for the new series btw! I love your videos and can't wait to see what it's all about.
i found the game through you and Hanannie (i knew it existed before but not anything about it) and through that i learnt about all sorts of snowflake accounts. I am now 10 days of playtime into a extreme onechunk account and im having a blast. thx for the vids :D
i remember back when you had 12 subscribers! cant believe you've reached over 100 - love the content and keep grinding. Hope the success doesn't change you
I was one of those non players watching your content. You make superb videos, and after a 21 year hiatus for me (rs classic), you got me back into it. Appreciate your effort and creativity.
Thank you for the time you put into your content. I have been watching RuneScape content on youtube since zezema was pking in edgville in a blue party hat😂. In all that time on a hand full of content creators put the level thought into their videos that you do. Keep it up.
what I do love about you vids is you do explain content, pest control, fire cape waves, inferno waves, other game mechanics because despite the fact I've played runescape, on and off, for over a decade I still haven't scratched 5% of all the content in the game. so hearing you explain something like pest control in simple terms is incredibly helpful because now I'm looking at it and thinking "if a man in a chefs hat with a wooden shield can do it, then I can do it too". Hell I'm currently gearing up to do my first ever fire cape and McTile did it with a crossbow I didn't even know existed 😅 Also I have to say this somewhere but Swampletics inspired me to do Barrows and my first ever chest in the full time I've played the game had a Dharok's helm in it. I was so incredibly happy I stopped my next run and went to grind out 70 def just to wear it
As someone that has not played Runescape. I do really enjoy watching when you play it. And makes it pretty dang easy to follow of why you do what you do. I will not have the patience to do all those grinds in a game like Runescape. But i will happy watch a good edited bite size video about it. Thank you for all the effort you putted into these videos!
Watched both, love your sutff, Swamplectics and a friend combined got me back into OSRS as a Group Iron and I'm happier for it. Anyhow, Snailman Mode, I NEED to see you do Snailman Mode
You are THE reason I have any interest in runescape as a game or topic at all. To think it all started with that one tile so long ago. Watching the journey has been fun and will love to see the new ones as they come out.
Every series you do please make a figure like McTile! I want to complete the collection! Please make a swampletics one to?? Haha. Excited for your next series brother keep up the hard work.
You're absolutely right about non players and players retention watching your vids. I play os but my wife doesn't but yet while we watched swampletics she was so invested in the series and your subtle explanations were enough to keep her aware of whats going on. And while i play the game im nowhere near that kind of endgame so its highly entertaining to watch for me as well. anyway long ramble good job lol love the content
Im more angry that I wasn't recommended this channel earlier seeing as Ive been following you since Swamp episode 4 >:( Love you swamp man, anything you do will be hype, I will still never play uim
Another great series, thanks for your hard work. I do have a suggestion for a short project that you could drop here. There's a non-profit, completely free-to-play private server dedicated to preserving RuneScape Classic (i.e. the main game from 2001-2003), where you can experience the game almost exactly as it was when it was abandoned. It has a small but active, passionate and supportive userbase. It would be cool to watch you navigate this old game, and give your extensive fanbase a taste of what the game used to be like, and how far it has come since then. You could probably complete dragon slayer in one or two days while showcasing a variety of different content. If you and your subscribers enjoyed it, it could always be extended by a couple of weeks to complete hero's. :)
This is gonna be a long one I doubt you'll see but if you do....I really appreciate your content and yes I watched both videos to the end. I'm a forever sub for sure. Cant wait for 2024 and the future of this channel as well. This video really hit home with me. The biggest was "What's next for the account?" - I struggle with this often. I have big end goals and tons of milestones in between. I always wondered, when I'm finally at the end, what's next? Second- burnout. Man did that one hit. And I know a lot of others can relate too. I spent an entire year at the GE grinding out my first two 99s side by side starting the second skill after grinding the first to 92. Only left for holiday events and the occasional 301 varrock general store extravaga. After that I was off for months. It was brutal but I'm back again. I learned that one thing at a time is the way to go, and separate my big goals to avoid burnout. Context: I'm currently working on a f2p completionist main pretty much entirely on mobile. Why? Masochism, childhood goals, and a moderately unique account. It's not a 1/1 idea by any means but due to life, I cant justify a paid account and don't have the time to learn or experience the other 80% of the game. I spent a year ginding cooking and firemaking at the GE to 99. I have one exception, bonding out only to obtain skillcapes and then immediately returning to f2p. When the account is "finished" I have struggled with what to do next. Do I go for 200m all? Do I ruin it and go p2p? After watching this video..... Nope. I'm probably just gonna keep it where its at, and start a new account. I'm not a content creator, my journey isn't documented really in any way. The name is inspired by swampletics for the grindy goodness, but with a twist that captures the general reception of the "build" when I tell people it's a mobile locked f2p completionist main.

Oh man, I'm all the way down for more videos from you outside of main channel stuff. I can't wait to hear you ramble off more.
Honestly, the audio alone is perfect for my back to back 12hr shifts. Thank you for the 2nd channel. Subbed
I really love all of your content. Always excited to see new uploads from you and I can not wait to see what you have in store for us next!
Keep up the awesome work man! Thank you for all the grinds!
I originally wanted to try it out after seeing you do it on McTile, and I'm having a lot of fun with what is pretty much my first real PvM activity!!
I made a hc ironman and it’s been so fun and so satisfying to just get a new smithing level lol
Your the best, keep the grind going. Looking forward to your next journey man
This video is incredible. Will definitely fuel your growth going forward. Excited to see what you have planned.
All love. Can't wait to see what you got cookin'. Thanks for all the hard work.
Hey man, love your content and the work you put into it makes it so special to all of us
I played back in 2004-2009, and have always come back to the game but never really gotten back into it until recently when the cousins & brothers made a GIM.
Some of the greatest content I've watched on RUclips.
congratulations on 12 subscribers!
We love ya settled take all the time you need off
about the 4:11 question, one of my favourite things to watch on youtube are speedruns/challengeruns done by people that have good knowledge with the game mechanics and know how to convey that knowledge in a concise and engaging way. and i think your challenge series have hit that nail right on the head
Making McTile into an iron is definitely a play. Glad to see a second channel come up for people who can't get enough of you.
Just watching this now and I have to say you are my favorite content creator! The effort you put into your videos is amazing.
I'll be forever thankful to you (and Glitch, the puzzlecrafter) for the amazing idea and the beautiful execution ❤
love the channel man, you'll get to 1k subs one day! keep working at it 💪
OMG WE DID IT
I mainly play RS3 but I've been watching your growth from when you were grinding Skeletal Wyverns on your main UIM and I'm glad to see how far you've grown. You've inspired me to get back to playing OSRS again
Hyped for future content :D
Yay thanks for making this channel. We’re here for the content but also here for the settled. Not that the settled channel doesn’t give us both… but I think some unscripttled is a nice bonus many would enjoy.
As someone who came in to join in like the 3rd moritania video and never got past getting the first rune i find the way you explain to be very good.
I'm excited for the new challenge, i very much liked the theory crafting sessions and felt it was slightly missing in tile man. It felt disconnected from why did you go x instead of y. But keeping that balance and videos interesting is important and definitely worked!!!
So excited for your next challenge run
Great video! Would love to see you do livestreams again, really enjoyed the barrows streams during the swampletics rebuild
Discovered swampletics while bored at my office job and wasted many an hour :)
would love to see short concept runs, perhaps roleplay/themed runs where you see how far you could push things while playing using the gear of certain npcs or the like?
16k subs, man I haven't subscribed to a channel with this little amount of subscribers since J1mmy started his ironman. I've been watching since your OG UIM tho so there's no way I couldn't. Hope your new series does numbers, your content is one of the few things I keep up with even when I take breaks from the game.
I have to thank you for getting me into OSRS ironman and back to the game as a whole. I had burnt out of the main game like 5 years prior when I first discovered Swampletics. Watched it, then proceeded to binge it. You got me back into the game of my childhood.
Love q&as, thanks settled!
This channel is what I’ve been waiting for, excited to see more settled (and unsettled) on the notification page❤❤
i found the game through you and Hanannie (i knew it existed before but not anything about it) and through that i learnt about all sorts of snowflake accounts.
I joined your main during Tileman. I love the content on this channel 🙌
gz on 12+ subscribers!
Thank you for the time you put into your content. I have been watching RuneScape content on youtube since zezema was pking in edgville in a blue party hat😂. In all that time on a hand full of content creators put the level thought into their videos that you do. Keep it up.
Good shit man, looking forward to the next project.
gz on 12 subs!
what I do love about you vids is you do explain content, pest control, fire cape waves, inferno waves, other game mechanics because despite the fact I've played runescape, on and off, for over a decade I still haven't scratched 5% of all the content in the game. so hearing you explain something like pest control in simple terms is incredibly helpful because now I'm looking at it and thinking "if a man in a chefs hat with a wooden shield can do it, then I can do it too". Hell I'm currently gearing up to do my first ever fire cape and McTile did it with a crossbow I didn't even know existed 😅
Also I have to say this somewhere but Swampletics inspired me to do Barrows and my first ever chest in the full time I've played the game had a Dharok's helm in it. I was so incredibly happy I stopped my next run and went to grind out 70 def just to wear it
Great finale and Q&A session. Will you be playing and/or uploading any leagues content on this channel?
As someone that has not played Runescape. I do really enjoy watching when you play it. And makes it pretty dang easy to follow of why you do what you do.
I will not have the patience to do all those grinds in a game like Runescape. But i will happy watch a good edited bite size video about it. Thank you for all the effort you putted into these videos!
What a treat, mans big enough now for a second channel ❤️❤️❤️ there are some killer creators out there but youre the best to do it my dude
Watched both, love your sutff, Swamplectics and a friend combined got me back into OSRS as a Group Iron and I'm happier for it.
Anyhow, Snailman Mode, I NEED to see you do Snailman Mode
Gz on 10,6k subs
congrats on 12 subscribers man
Congrats on the 12 subs
Based to be a part of the 9- hopefully soon to be 12, subs
Foujnd you when you started Tileman and fell in love with your videos. I ended up starting a GiM due to watching you.
Always the best channels have the fewest subs, this man deserves like 650k+ subs at the least.
you do a great job at making it fun for vets& non osrs players.
i watch your stuff with my wife & we enjoy it equally
Im more angry that I wasn't recommended this channel earlier seeing as Ive been following you since Swamp episode 4 >:(
Love you swamp man, anything you do will be hype, I will still never play uim
Sub number 266! Awesome content man, really excited for the future! Take all the time you need gif a break!
hearing you talk about this game makes me smile so much, thank you.
I’m still waiting for the return of raw jublie on the floor.
love u so much settled! have a great break
LET'S GOOO, more content from one of my favorite content creators
Context:
I'm currently working on a f2p completionist main pretty much entirely on mobile.
Really seems like this kid gets RUclips, he speaks well, I like his storytelling.. could see him going far in this business, you got my sub
