Tobias is a real NBA player that can compete and that wants to be in Detroit. He doesn't miss games, a respectable shooter and fits well with Cades style of play. Fans have nothing to complain about. Give the man some respect and support. Welcome Back brody!

Lifelong Cavs and Cleveland sports fan in general here. You guys got a good coach in Bickerstaff, though many if not most of our fans would disagree. We won 48 games despite a million injuries, won a first-round playoff series, were even as competitive against Boston as anyone else despite being shorthanded, and of course he was promptly run out of town for it. Makes no sense to me either. I'd be borderline shocked if this Atkinson guy we got helps elevate the Cavs in any way, I'd be fairly surprised if he even duplicates Bickerstaff's success, but we'll see.

I feel that we're just afraid to admit that Duren will never be even a decent rim protector. The guy is so physically gifted and had only 6 blocks more than Ivey in the season. Blocks are not a precise defensive metric but is certainly effort indicative. How will a player become better in something specific without effort?
I mean, I'm not afraid to admit it: he is very bad.

Tobias is also high character and a great player to learn from. I don't understand the disappointment
The disappointment comes from the failure to collect assets with that 26-mil chunk of cap space.

I just think the trade was for more if a proven threat in Hardaway. We need vets he's also familiar with Michigan. Tobias we all knew was coming here and honestly that's not a bad deal. You also need salary like that to make trades in the future.
Your point about adding a 5 Bryce is exactly my concern on how you’re stunting stew’s development as a backup 5. He can’t be like last year and be a 4 and wait in the corner.

Stew should start at center because he's so much better than Duren.
I don’t have an issue with Bickerstaff or Tobias. It’s the fact that Detroit is so ill regarded that coaches remove themselves from being considered and players want nothing to do with this team. It just sucks and it’s a realization that this team is so far from competing. Probably another three years of being the bottom of the league.
