Sad to see Golden Bullet leaving- its such a HUGE reason I have been able to level my SHD so much this past week. A lot of fun, and playing a different build than usual, so its really been a good time/learning experience. All good things must come to an end, I suppose.
I have created a survivability version of this build for legendary with Catharsis and Belstone or now Paliside with an Incoming Repair mod and 2 PFE mods with Fixer drone. Then for extra damage I use Busy Bee to tag enemies. Very fun build.
I knew what this build was as soon as the game play started... Because I've been running it as a fairly new player SHD 260..... I'm not a noob to rpg and build creation with sets ... (I'm an Elder Scrolls transplant) .... I absolutely love it ... The only difference I have is I have yet to get the Coyote mask ... So I'm running Catharsis mask ........ Glad to see a build I thought I found as a new player is viable to even a veteran such as yourself ... Still trying to figure out this dark zone tho .. #GodSpeed. Great video.
I've been trying to find a build I liked coming away from my LMG's, I've given this a go although I've gone all red cores due to them being the only pieces I got, I'm surprised, I really like the build. It's really good. EDIT - I have used this build soloing heroic with 5 directives and it's great (bare in mind, I'm not SHD 1000 yet either,) it works very well in the polarity GE too, as you can tag a few enemies even if they're not the correct polarity then destroy the correct polarity and take down the other 2 enemies, works great for when enemies run in cover, etc. I seriously overlooked this gearset when I had it drop in the past, it didn't sound great at all. Now putting it to the test, it annihilates everything.
I recently put together 4 random builds that I thought would suck…… just to be surprised on how good they turned out lmao. Still need 2 more maxed out crit hit damage mods though
6:12 so nice of the Chungy to wait till you use armor kit instead oh 1 tapping you lol since you're spraying from up close how about Ouroboros with this setup?
This build is actually really good in legendary since you can't often focus on one target. By being able to damage 3-4 targets at one time is a big benefit. I prefer running this with a hard hitting LMG instead.
My opinion is to buy named caches. Exotic caches are too expensive to buy with stars, and you can earn them much faster by playing countdown and using countdown resources to buy exotic caches at the countdown vendor. Just my opinion.
How do you go about sustainability with this build? I'm using it and I absolutely love it but I am concerned about when I get low during a fight and I run out of plate to put on it feels lackluster with the 10% armor gain from the gunner tree unless I missed something. Please halp!
I watched your video again and I noticed you mentioned having unbreakable instead of obliterate as the talent but I also noticed you don’t get one tapped on heroic Is it purely because of my SHD level that I’m not getting this same result as you?
defo, i got it in around 5 missions on heroic for targeted loot on mask that day. First mission on targeted loot for holister I got the waveform (best extoic ever) so works good!
So i have a question! Iam really new to this game playing for a week now.. Running a striker build because that was the one i found first and it works for now.. But iam at a low level in rank.. What's the best method to farm XP to increase rank? Because that's the hardest thing for me at the moment..

Mr greybeard I wonder if you can help I put a good few hours into descent today got 7 reconstructed caches but didn't get a blueprint from any of them just named weapons, think there's a problem with descent
I've open over 30 reconstructed caches and have always got a blueprint so what you're saying is the blueprint from the reconstructed caches are random so you have a 50/50 chance of getting a cache after killing the nemesis and the blueprint is not guaranteed from that cache.
St. Elmo’s and ND is my primary farming build. Glad to see someone shoutout Negotiator’s as it’s seriously looked over.

Farming for the Dark Winter is easier with Countdown. You get named caches through the Countdown vendor. Those names caches drop DZ exclusives.

It's the most slept on gear set out there. Long before strikers was what is is now, I was using dilema with focus + vilig + ranger to cheese DUA.

Unlike a shotgun, the Dark Winter is your best friend for close encounters. The time to kill is ridiculous during the golden bullet event.

Not necessarily better, just different. Between the two of them bigger fan of a striker gear set, especially as a solo player.

It’s a totally different build..
A Famas (or F2000) with Killer will do more DPS then the Elmo.
But its a good base to start with 👍🏻
