Love seeing this. It's because of guys like Jase reacting to music that I get to learn about so many cool bands. And Bloodywood just got on my playlist. I also need to shut off my laptop and go love my dog.
This isn't about Yaad, but Bloodywood saved my life last year with "Jee Veerey." I was in a very dark place, and Jee Veerey gave me the strength of will to keep fighting, to not give up, to not surrender to the demons that, _every single day,_ try and get me to take my own life. But I'm here, and as I look into that Valley of Death, "I'll be back, 'cause try as we may, we can never deny -- we can get back up, if we are still alive!"
Tu Jee Veerey (Live, Brave One) Toofano Se Lad Ke (fight those internal storms and) Tu, Jeet Veerey (Win, Brave one) Zakhmo Se Bhid Kar Bhi Tu (Weather those wounds and) Firse Uthega Yaara (Rise, once again) Firse Udega Yaara (Fly, once again) Andhero Mein Tu Kabse (For too long you've lay in darkness) Tu Jee Veerey (Live, Brave One)
Every song that Bloodywood does has a meaning, and is very powerful. Jee Veerey is one about mental health. They actually donated money to a counseling firm for anybody to use for therapy sessions. The rapper is Raoul Kerr, and he has some solo stuff on his channel. All of his songs have a poingant meaning as well. Take care!
Raouls lyrics are so powerful. I think for many the issue is that its more "simple" in the choice of vocabulary, but at the same time it gives it more universal power to me almost.
i have no idea how i came across your channel and especially this particular song but it has brought me so much comfort. Earlier today i had the worst phone call i could ever imagine, it was the parent of my best friend Elisha to tell me that she had passed away alone in hospital due to Covid-19. we had known each other since we were 5 year old we met on our first day of school, and have been best friends ever since. i will always love you and miss you Elisha you were the best friend i could ever ask for. sleep tight with the angels.
@@jasenyoface7555 thank you so so much for your kind words. please keep safe in these scary times. much love and peace to you and your family and your gorgeous furbabies
This song kicks my heart in the balls every time. Especially since my sister had a dog with pups. She kept one pup who was THE sweetest. She ended up getting hit by a car, and the mom was too aggressive and had to be put down recently. Bloodywood, like Linkin Park and a small handful of others, put so much emotion into the instrumentals and lyrics, you feel the song as much as you hear it...and this one is a prime example for me.
Jase: The song is about how a dog owner who had just suffered the loss of his furry four-legged family member. Because of the losses I've suffered in my life, this song helped me to cry...to shed the tears I had been holding back. In some cases, for more than half my life. It is comforting to realize that the best thing we can do, if we truly value the animals or people in our lives, is to live our life in a way that honors them. If your dog loves you unconditionally, when they die, find another dog to love unconditionally. The dog you lose would never want you to be sad or unhappy because they arent there any more. I say this because I have one regret: That in my life, I was not with my boy Toby when he passed. He was a dog I had raised from a pup, and I _know,_ without question, he loved me. He was a Dachshund that ended up jumping out of bed one morning, where my mom was living, and he broke his back. I was living in another state at the time. And this song broke down the barriers I had kept for over 6 years, because not only could I not grieve for Toby, but I also felt guilty because I wasn't there when he died. I'm telling you, when I first heard this song, I bawled my eyes out for over an hour, just letting go of the guilt, letting go of the depression, letting go and finally grieving. It was almost as though I could see Toby, with his beautiful brown eyes telling me, "It's okay. I'm in a better place now. I understand why you couldn't be there, and I forgive you." Which brings me to the biggest lesson i think most people never learn: To forgive. Not just others, but ourselves as well. And if animals can forgive us, then we should be able to forgive ourselves, and those that wrong us -- all so we live a happy life worth living. And yes, just today, I did give his brother Bear some love, some hugs and kisses -- because Bear is getting up there in years, and I want him to know that no matter what, no matter how much he irritates me or gets on my nerves, I still love him. And that, at the end of the day, is what matters.
It's one of these videos that I have tears before it's start each time 😅 I have lost my puppy friend this year. And i keep watching his favourite toys pin on the wall next to my tv during this video .. TX for the react and salute to your two beautiful dogs 🌹

This is my favorite song by Bloodywood! At 7:51 in their music video, there is a blond dog with a black snout, who looks almost exactly like my Belgian malinois, Rosie. I have heard all of Bloodywood's music, and my second-favorite song is "Endurant".
Really liked your reaction! Where do I begin...at the least, I know where you are, because I fight the same battles with depression a lot of the time. Having said that, brother, I have two things to tell you. First, realize that you are not alone -- _and you never were._ Second, when you feel like you're having one of those days, remember this: "When you can't run, you walk.
