I admit his 9Lives album had a lot of good songs (Not including the but-hurt cry baby songs), and I do admit his party songs are outstanding, but still, HU has more success and always will until another falling out which will cause them to calm down on producing music due to needing another vocalist/instrumentalist.

But I think that it is very unfortunate that they split up, even though it was a long time ago. The split was definitely tough and dirty but I think it was for the better. Huge Deuce Fan here.. having returned to this all years later I can deduce the following... Deuce was too good for Hollywood undead, and Hollywood undead wasn't for Deuce. Deuce didn't turn up to one of HU's gigs and from what i've heard he got kicked out of the band. So deuce made his own band and carried on with his genre of Rap/Rock. I think Deuce believes J3T stab him in the back and didn't give him a second chance, it's shown in deuces song "Story of a snitch" HU belives in deuce brought it on himself and they make songs about him. I don't think i've explained everything but it happened a few years ago so give a quick search on google and it should fill everything in for you. :)

Well, Deuce will always be my favorite, I actually never really knew of HU until the Deuce thing happened... but the fact that he "founded" the band is pretty irrelevant in terms of who's the best here. Being the founder doesn't mean you get "god-mode"... you can't just take credit from 5 other people :| He's not the one on the drums, guitars, etc... it takes more than one for that

Johnny Vincent It had 3 new songs, 3 covers, 1 remix and Six live songs so it is not actually classed as a fully fledged record it is a Compilation, besides American Tragedy and Notes from the Underground sold better and they are coming out with a third record not everything they have done in 6 years is down to Deuce, they are much more successful without him than they were with him and if that weren't true deuce would be the one who is releasing multiple albums and sellout instead of fading into relative obscurity in comparison.

I miss Deuce in HU. Danny might have the better voice but I don't like the way their music is going. War Child is just a generic disco-song, nothing special at all, Day of the Dead is ok but nothing outstanding either...
Few things wrong, yes they kicked him from the band but only cause he hardly showed up to tours anymore, plus, his ego started to go to his head, if you check the credits for swan songs, you'll see they actually helped write, he did make the band but so did J-Dog and Shady Jeff did as well
People who are saying HU is just pop songs now and Deuce is a lot better - a lot of Deuce's songs are pop! This one for example, it starts with #1. Chorus #2. First verse of the story #3. Chorus #4. Second verse of the story and finally #5. The chorus repeated twice. This has the same features as normal pop songs. Just thought this had to be put out there.

Johnny Vincent It had 3 new songs, 3 covers, 1 remix and Six live songs so it is not actually classed as a fully fledged record it is a Compilation, besides American Tragedy and Notes from the Underground sold better and they are coming out with a third record not everything they have done in 6 years is down to Deuce, they are much more successful without him than they were with him and if that weren't true deuce would be the one who is releasing multiple albums and sellout instead of fading into relative obscurity in comparison.

People who are saying HU is just pop songs now and Deuce is a lot better - a lot of Deuce's songs are pop! This one for example, it starts with #1. Chorus #2. First verse of the story #3. Chorus #4. Second verse of the story and finally #5. The chorus repeated twice. This has the same features as normal pop songs. Just thought this had to be put out there.
