Does this stop 100% without hitting a still pedestrian or motionless road block etc?

Yes, I have a 2021 Kia Forte, and it can come to a complete stop.

I was leaving a store parking lot and a guy in front of me was going. So I turn my head left and right while going forward and the guy completely stopped for no reason. My car did completely come to a stop on its own. If you’re going above 40 mph and you’re driving close to the person in front of you then it’ll reduce the accident. Don’t expect to come to a full stop.

Tesla model y smashed a baby deer stationary waiting in the middle of road while the auto braking did not work at all.. likewise there is the video on youtube a volvo electric car hitting the gm while demonstrating autonomous braking..seems to me the camera do not detect motionless objects 100% which is a huge flaw risk
