The best chalk line hands down.🎉
I have used tajima chalks lines for 10 years. The ones you highlighted in the video are good but the tajima dura chalk box with the 1.5-1.8 line is hands down better for everyday carpentry.
Casually flips the camera off! Lol that was subtle and epic.
I have the red one and it’s by miles the best line I ever used.
The best Tajima chalk line is the purple/silver with the 1.8mm line. For carpenters or laying out. Imo
I wonder when they started using metal gears. I have the red one (it's quite old) and the gears are plastic.
What is the pull through feature you mentioned?
When changing the line, you have to pull the line back through the lid of the chalk box. The tool is located at the bottom of the winder. You pull that out and there's a little hook that allows you to fish the line through the lid. I hope that helps!
I put a 1.8 line in my blue tamija 🔥
Very good chalking bit sometimes the line is to small is hard to get it with you fingers if the line is a little bit tinker it be more best I love it but that's my issue
Yea that can be difficult at times!
Good video, thanks for the information.
I have the blue one and the snap line doesn't work for me.
My question is: is it possible to change to another kind of snap line?
I'm starting with framing, that's why the snap line is to weak for me.
Thank you!
Yes you can change the chalk line to the one that is a little thicker. They sell the replacement lines. The blue one is more for trim work when first purchased.
Since when are the gears metal?
Mine is black?
Bullshit, ive bought three Tajima and all three had plastic gears and thats what failed on them and fast. Thats why im here is to find a good chalk line
The gears aren’t metal. And if they are - provide proof.
