A few more...the opening ten minutes, 'You Got The Love' at the end, and Peter Hook doing 'Blue Monday'. Also...808 State just supported Happy Mondays so I have a live version of them doing 'Pacific State'. ...all on my page.
I now have a live recording of 808 State doing 'Pacific State'. They supported Happy Mondays in Margate at Dreamland. The live sax solo was a fantastic surprise.
Why on earth do you say that?! Park and Pickering both started the classical idea first with Hacienda Classical. Both are miles better DJ's than Tong particularly Park who's far superior technically. Pickering also started the first proper House night in the UK with Nude at Hacienda back in 1986. Park then started DJ'ing with Pickering in 87. Without Park and Pickering playing and thus bringing Chicago House to a UK audience, you probably wouldn't have had 808 State who created Pacific. Both had miles more impact on House getting started in the UK than Tong.
