I’ve been doing carnivore for 14 months. I’ve lost 60lbs without exercise (that’s another story) went visiting relatives for about three weeks about 1 1/2 weeks of eating ‘normal’ meals with family my stomach was screaming at me … stop eating this stuff… went back on carnivore ( got the strange looks and questions, you’re just eating ALL THAT meat. lol) yes I bought all my own groceries (meats, eggs etc) tummy and other body parts got real happy again … cheaper you betcha. No potato chips, no dips, no ice cream, no cereals, no milk, yogurt, French fries, no cookies. Add up all those snack foods and goodies, impulse buys. See how much just those items ‘cost’ and you’re still hungry! I like this lifestyle

I hit 309 lbs and I'm 5'1". I went on keto, I lost 40 lbs in the first 3 months. I lost down to 240 and stayed there, even though I could not afford to eat keto. Bad eating habits crept back in and I've gained 20 pounds. I'm considering carnivore seriously, I think I can afford it and protein is perfect for me as I'm hypoglycemic. I do watch Dr Berry and I'm moving in the right direction again. Congrats on your progress Mike, I thought you had lost weight!

I am so proud of you!!! I knew it! I could tell you had lost weight & I could tell you seemed happier!!! It is definitely a lifestyle change! I started Carnivore Jan. 27 this year & I’ve lost 52 lbs! And that is without exercise! I couldn’t do exercise because my knee was so bad! Now I can do a whole lot of activity! People think I’m crazy! But they also see my progress! I still get “experts” preaching at me about how bad meat is for me, whilst holding a bag of chips themselves! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Carnivore healed my anxiety, depression & inflammation! My clothes are falling off of me, even the new ones I bought just a month ago! I can’t even tell you how good I feel! I stumbled across carnivore because another homestead channel was doing it. I wasn’t subscribed to them, they were just in the “suggestion” links at the bottom of my screen. It had a thumbnail of a guy that had lost half his body weight & then from there I found Dr Berry, Dr Chaffee, & so many more! You may get haters from this lifestyle, but you’re going to inspire sooooooo many more from this video alone! You’re right, it is not expensive! I’ve helped convert a few people to carnivore because I shared my progress on my facebook page. And they, too, are seeing good results! You look great, by the way! 💪🏼👏❤️

Mike CONGRATS!!!!!!! I have lived this way most of my life, when you start adding things back in to your diet, whatever you eat, eat REAL food not boxed processed food. Your body needs some carbs when you get down to where you feel good not what the insurance charts say. But if you start eating processed food you will notice how bad you feel. I'm not going to lie and tell you that I don't ever eat them, once in a while I will have something chips or something like that. OH MY GRACIOUS within a half hour my stomach is upset, I hurt all over and just don't feel good. That is usually enough to remind me for a good while. No it isn't the easiest thing to eat real food but it sure makes you feel better. It means growing your own, cooking from scratch and that kind of thing. You find that you eat simpler just because it is easier and every once in awhile you will fix yourself a fancy meal and it is good. Keep up the good work!!

I'm not a big carnivore, but I have lost 120lbs since January doing intermittent fasting, and eating a very low calorie mostly vegetarian low carb diet with a couple ounces of meat a couple times a week. I know other people who have lost a lot of weight on this diet. Got off Metformin, getting rid of that made me feel oh so much better. I still have a good way to go as I was bigger than you when I started. We are around same size now. I lost about another 150lbs after getting sick from Covid... I was HUGE around 500lbs. I got to 350 and got stuck there a few years. I felt like total garbage. Could not sleep, so terribly sore, gasping for air and no energy. I have more energy now at 46 than I did at 20! And no diabetes, high blood pressure, or gout anymore.

Big fan of Dr. Berry & people need to understand that their MD knows NOTHING about nutrition and what healthy food is! You were exactly right saying they don’t want you healthy, (no money in that!). Congratulations and glad you’re feeling better 🥳👏👍

Congratulations! I started keto in 2020 and have progressed to pretty much carnivore ever since. I’ve lost 80lbs and working on the next 50. My body has been healing, gotten off most of my medications, down to 3. I’m doing BBBE right now also, for metabolic reset and reintroducing some foods. Everything you mentioned that you’re eating, with the exception of sauerkraut, is all carnivore. And fermented foods are supposed to be good for you. (Per Ben Bickmen)

Check out a gut health test too. I did mine and was amazed at what it revealed. The Dawns rising effect has a lot to do with a high blood sugar level in the morning. Help the liver out and see what’s going on in the gut and you could reverse that. Best luck!

Lost 90 lbs so far. Just went under 200lbs for the first time in 34 years. Was prescribed Mounjaro for out of control diabetes (it's a diabetes treatment) - was on a keto-lite diet had lost 20lbs but still couldn't get my glucose level under the mid 300s. Now I'm coming off the diabetes drugs and after my next blood tests will be off the high blood pressure drugs too if the numbers track. Starting to taper off the meds and will keep having routine blood tests and monitoring by my doctor but you don't need to stay on them (will be testing to know for sure). Had to get new glasses with no prescription needed for distance any more. Doc explained that high 300s blood glucose is like syrup for blood and the tiny blood vessels in your eyes don't get enough circulation. Lose the weight, eat healthy, get off the drugs (all of them!). Good luck! It sucks sometimes but the payout is worth it.
As for Mounjaro - don't take it if you don't need it for diabetes. I've managed to avoid side effects I think largely because I'm not on it to "lose weight". It helps but I was already loosing weight before the drug and I credit that with not getting some of those effects. Don't do a drug like that without frequent monitoring by a doctor.

I love this! I e done carnivore twice for a cpl months in early 2020 and 2023, but haven’t stuck with it…I’m currently doing the 75 hard challenge and I need to get myself back on carnivore to get the most benefit. Both times I noticed how amazing I felt within a week or two of starting carnivore. Not sure why I’m struggling so hard to get back on it cuz how easy can it be??!! Just eat meat and drink water!!

I’m not doing carnivore. But similar. Still cutting out almost all carbs. So I eat meat, eggs, cheese, and I add salads and shelled sunflower seeds as a snack. In 3 months my A1C has went down from 9.1 to 6.4. And that’s unmedicated. I was on 2 metformin and a jardiance. But I stopped all my medicines because once my body came off of all the sugar and carbs, my sugar was getting down in the 30’s and 40’s at night. Scared me and I quit taking the meds. I average 120 after meals, and 99-105 at bedtime on my sugar. And I’ve lost 30 pounds since April (about 3 months). Stay at it man. 💪 👊

It’s hard sometimes not go back to any of the crap cause I like baking all that stuff but I was 236 and now I’m 162 and it helped a lot with inflammation, I hope you have a good journey yourself. I like your video with them the steak and them burger and you pour the butter over it. Yeah that sounds good too. I’ll have to do that. I’ve been using my air fryer to make meatballs and wrap them and bacon.❤

Looking great Mike. Four years ago I was 240lbs. I started losing weight. I am now 160lbs. I take no more metformin, no more high blood pressure medicine, no more cholesterol. Because once they put you on these medicines, they do not want to take you off. So I put in the work. I did it myself and I took myself off and the doctor could not believe it. Twice a year I take A1c test and it’s always good. But the way I did it I eat basically one time a day. Because I never ate a lot of food to begin with, so now I eat what I would eat in three meals just one time a day. But I still drink my beer when I want one. Also I do exercise.
