What's amazing about Sanjay is that every time I'm like "wait stop! Back it up I'm confused" during the video, he recommends a video that he's made that will help with my problem. His videos are so professional and we'll thought out. Any time I'm looking for a video on a musical topic, I always watch his videos first :)
So nice of you. I’m really glad you like these videos!
He is so good. His videos really teaches you so much without it being overwhelming.
Such a great video SanjayC! Thanks for showing us guitarists how to incorporate them into our studio! Love your T-shirt too 😀
My pleasure!!
Imagine Sanjay's voice On mainstream News. It would definitely give people hope.
LOLOL!! Funniest comment today! Maybe I should do some "Good News" videos. Actually...I already do...my Saturday News Reports!!!
I agree with you, Gladson RS!
I was thinking for the top 40 countdown. His voice reminds me of Casey Kasem
Yep, I would love to see that.
his vocal inflections remind me of casey casum lol
Always enjoy your presentations. To the point with clarity and precision, along with good humor.
Many years ago I majored in Media Arts/Video Production. Your's are A+ worthy.
I cant wait to show this video to my guitar teacher HE WILL LOVE IT!!
Oh nice! Let him know I said hi and that he can recommend my video to other students as well :-D
Very professional, best image and sound quality and best pedagogy method. Bravo!
This video was made for us guitarists, thank you Sanjay!
For sure! Happy to finally make a video for guitarists! Long time coming!
AMAZING! just ordered the Spark via your link and can’t wait to try it! already super excited!
Awesome! Thanks for using my link - it helps support my channel. You're gonna have so much fun!! :-)
Thanks a lot this helped. Most youtubers make videos targetting edm music production and it's difficult to get to know about recording and mixing guitar and real instruments. Finally videos about recording guitars😊😊
Happy you found this helpful! :-D
Another awesome video from one of the best RUclips influencers out there! You are thorough in researching information you share with us which is most useful. Thank you Sanjay C.
Wow...thanks so much!
For a “high-end” guitar plugin, I’ve totally settled on the stuff by Neural Dsp. They do a lot of metal style plugins but recently released the Cory Wong signature plugin for clean stuff. The built in effects are also amazing.
Thanks for the suggestion, Andrew
I highly recommend the G&L Tribute S-500. Costs 600. Its a Stratocaster style guitar. The pickups sound fantastic and build quality is really good. For anyone who doesnt know G&L was Leo Fender's last company where he made a bunch of amazing inventions to expand on his vision for the electric guitar. Fender quality and designed by the same person but with a much more affordable price than a fender.
Thanks for the advice, orry!
I agree, if you want a Fender type guitar, some of the G&L models are among the best bang for the buck.
Great videos!!! Really get in to Points..!! Love it.
Loved the Positive Grid Spark amp... such an original idea. Preordered the Last Chance Spark + bag combo, can’t wait to get my hands on it! Thanks for the recommendation!
Nice! You're gonna love it!
I subbed because you play your guitar STANDING UP unlike all the other RUclips guitarist. I play standing up as well. Sitting makes me feel like I’m not getting anywhere musically.
You are not a guitarist until you stand and play. 😊🙏
LOL! Hey, for a sub, that's a good enough reason for me! :-D
Oh this is so helpful! I'm moving soon and I want to have my home studio all set for the new house! Thanks Sanjay for this!
Nice! Congrats on the new house! You dedicating a room to your music?
@@SanjayC Yea! I play progressive metal but I was mainly looking in some studio monitors and a better interface, I picked up my audio Technica headphones from your past video in fact!
I love your work
Sanjay C you are awesome! Thanks for sharing this you have no idea how much you help us! Liked and one year ago subscribed
Thank you, Jun!
Wow. Surprised to see my Taylor GS mini and Presonius monitors... loved the video... very good content and channel !
Awesome! Thank you!
20 seconds into the video and I already like this guy.
Subbedd 🔥
Very kind of you
I'd say software world has conquered hardware world. This sounds as good as my boss GT100.
Yes, in the past decade or so, I think software has met hardware in sound quality
@@SanjayC thanks a lot for keeping us updated.
The gt100 is a digital multi effects processor so it's not really a comparison since they're basically the same thing. I've tried all kinds of effects processors and modeling amps but it's still not possible to get the sound and dynamic range of analogue drive.
@@ianpereira4711 Glory days of making good music is over ... why spend for so much! Besides "space" it's very limited.
Avallac Glitch I 100% agree, it’s not worth the price. Besides I love digital modulation effects and I think they’re usually a lot better than the overpriced analogue modulation effects. In my opinion you only need around two pedals analogue pedals to achieve a killer tone (in addition to digital effects).
Wow this is so cool! If I decide to really pick up guitar again I’ll have to take a look. Thanks for sharing this!!
You're welcome! 🙏
As someone who is just learning to home record I can't get enough of your videos and are my go-to for everything. Thank you Sanjay🙌
Wow, thank you! Are you a guitarist?
Yes sir. I just downloaded amplitube based on your recommendation.
Spark looks really cool! Smart Jam & Auto Chords ? Nice. I've used iRig into an amp but it can be clunky, phone needing to be attached with a short cable - that then goes to a 1/4" which can weigh it down..but the bluetooth here is a great idea 👌
He deserves so much more subs and views ppl should know him never seen another youtuber who’s as clear as him i wish i knew this channel two years ago when i was frustrated looking for information about song making in general :(
Wow...thanks so much, Seungwoo!
Sanjay C please continue your great work :)) let’s go 1M !
We need more people like you in this world.
That's very kind
For people living in Europe, Harley Benton (from Thomann) has great guitars for under 500 Euros. However, on this price range, it's recommended to avoid bridges with tremolo due to tuning issues. Nonetheless, they are pretty decent for the price range.
Thanks for helping out the Europe viewers, Loke!
Higher end Squier (by Fender) guitars are really good choice too imo
@@teadat Totally, I have a Squier Jazzmaster Classic Vibe and I love it. But I also have a Harley Benton "T-Style" that I paid 80 Euros new and it held up great until I had the money for the Squier.
Love your channel dude . I just discovered your channel but your every video helps me . Keep it up , great channel !
Thank you Doran Demiroğlu! Are you a guitarist?
@@SanjayC yes and currently trying to make a small home studio , your videos helping a lot
Cakewalk can give a headstart. The inbuilt TH3 amp simulator is also great and the DAW has no limitations unlike other free DAWs.
Nice! 👍
Okay loved this video more than the others lol(yes, I'm a guitarist)
Also to everyone reading this, most of you already know this but some other high end amp modelers/sims are Axe fx and Helix.
For guitars, schecter and orangewood(acoustic) makes some of the best budget guitars with amazing features/quality,
Awesome! Thanks for the suggestions for other viewers. I'm mainly a keyboardist, so your advice is really helpful! What about effects pedals?
@@SanjayC I started off as a pianist. Absolutely love it, but makes it difficult to choose your main instrument haha(I also play drums).
There are floor units of Helix and Kemper, but many prefer to use individual effects pedals, like the tube screamers and wah, etc
Have you ever tried guitar effects gear with keyboards or synths? I really want something nice for my syths.
@@SanjayC yes actually,
Some modulation effect pedals like reverb, delay, wah, chorus, flanger, etc work amazingly well with synths.
You should definitely try them out
I want an all in one device. All that stuff in one pedal or unit
Lots of nice gear and not a speck of dust anywhere. 😀
im an electric guitarist and for electric guitars you dont need and audio interface if your multi effects processor have a built in interface caz i have an effects processor called zoom g3x which has an interface built in and that's a really cool feature helps a lot man
Great vid especially for those who are just starting to record and upload guitar demos on RUclips like me. Keep ‘em coming \m/ 😊
Thank you xaldy valdez!
I love your T-shirt bro n your video as well
I loved this T shirt!Btw you're awesome in a word!
Thanks so much
Thank you sir for the video....Love from India🇨🇮🇨🇮
You’re welcome. Love to in India
Really helpful if I ever learn guitar in the future. 😅
Start now! You'll love it!
Hi Sanjay, Thank you for this video. I watched many of your videos, all of them were great and very informative. Just one question - is there any advantage in recording guitar directly via interface and using VST plugins rather than recording via guitar units like Zoom G3x?
Currently I am recording to Ableton 9 lite via Zoom G3x and adding additional reverb in Ableton. Thanks Edgar
Sanjay, you’re the best! New on your channel, amateur guitar player, intending to start recording, first by getting a Scarlett as your video convinced me, a mic and using my fender gt40. Just wonder how can I use my Digitech trio+ in recording. Can you please highlight that to me?
I absolutely LOVE my GS Mini, my favorite interface is the Motu M2 and I've been using a Vox ToneLab ST for my effects, I've had great experiences with all of them :)
Wow...I've heard great things about the MOTU M2. I really need to try it. Thanks for the suggestions!
Your videos are great! Don’t stop!
Glad you like them! What would you like to see next?
Sanjay C could you do a video on good drum machines cheap options to more costly options, I’m looking at the uno drum myself
Did u get around to seeing the vacuum synth plugin? If so what were your thoughts
Love your amazing videos, thank you :)
Thanks! You're so welcome!
@@SanjayC 🙏🏻🦄🦋💎🎧
Hey Brother!! Nice video. I recently picked up the Motu M2 interface, and boy was it a big difference than my Scarlett 2i2! I've also picked up the Nektar Aura drum machine, but of course there is nothing like Native Instrument! I was stopping by to say hi, and see how you were doing. Remember.... keep making the music that you love!!!
Hey Hurvey! Nice to see you, my friend! I really need to try the MOTU interface. You think the sound quality is better?
Sanjay C definitely! And if you like to sample... let’s just say you can sample right off of RUclips directly. And it comes with this daw Performer Lite.
Just look at the videos, but bring some tissue because it is a jaw dropper!!
Great job, Sanjay. Really glad you looked into the Positive Grid Amp and even showed its application on mobile devices.
Still perfecting my guitar setup but I really love your setup. Also, I really like how you reference previous videos you've done.
Great stuff, overall. Still waiting for the Mackie speakers from Sweetwater but overall, I can't complain. Been using headphones for a while so I think it's time, haha.
Also, Nembrini has a ton of free plugins for guitar. Both for Windows, Mac, and iOS.
Thanks, Seonn. And great suggestion with Nembrini!
#squad back in business. This video has inspired me to pick up a guitar 🎸. Thanks sanjay. You videos are just amazing. Love the T-shirt 😍😇.
Thanks, Maslin. Yeah, I get so many people asking about the t-shirt! Get on that guitar, man!

Thank you Pro 525!
Great video Sanjay, I've seen so many good comments for the Spark amp.
Yeah, I really think its a game changer!
Helpful sir!
Glad to hear that
Sanjay, awesome video as always! I tend to take a different view as musician who started with Bass guitar as my primary instrument and then branched out. For what I use I have the following: Line 6 Helix Rack & Line 6 POD X3 Pro for guitar and bass, Guitars (Variax Guitars & a Gibson), Basses (Variax Bass (old), Fretless, & 2 active basses). I've found that I very much prefer the Helix and POD X3 Pro because they are very configurable and can also function as very high quality 192KHz quality sound cards (a bit over kill when you're playing Doom Eternal but the eargasm sound quality is otherworldly). And as someone else mentioned in the comments, like NI's Guitar Rig 5, you can run microphones through the Line 6 racks and have all those delicious effects to use on them and STILL use Guitar Rig 5 stuff on that signal too! Option overload in the effects, but hey, options are the spice of life! Anyway, thanks for this, and I think you would be remiss if you didn't do something for us Bass Players out here too!
Yup...options are the spice of life for sure! The Helix Rack looks awesome!!
Prs guitars just become part of you best guitars and easy playing guitars i own the PRS soap bar 2 love it
Nice!!
Really helpful, thanks...
Thanks!
You're a life saver
Thank you KOBBY BOATENG!
Really good video. I thought of you as strictly an electronic musician so it was awesome and surprising to see you rock out a little! I have both the Spark amp and the Axe I/O and they are great. I'm still trying to determine whether Ableton would be good for recording guitar and specifically rock music. I'm skeptical. If you could do an objective video on that topic it would be great and I think it would be very helpful to people who want to do guitar-based music in addition to electronic music. Thanks.
Thanks so much! I plan to do a DAW comparison. Honestly, I think other DAWs like Presonus and Logic cater more to guitarists with their plugins.
Nice video. I've got Yamaha AG03 from the thumbnail, and I love it. It's so tactile and mix-like. :-) But you need room above it.
The only pedal I use is a distortion pedal! I plan to get more soon though
Really good video
Glad you enjoyed it
Bro, That’s a badass shirt lol
This is awesome information...glad I found this video and I subbed... so detailed and all.l8nks provided for the other vids...thank you.... quick question about the spark amp (I ordered one last night).. can i just use this as the audio interface without buying those extra audio interfaces....and if so, can I still use all the effects in another recording software? ... and what is one of the better but affordable recording softwares....I see the repeater is only $60..... ?
And also do I need a computer graphics card? Because i have a stock cyber power pc...that's amd 6 core, with 8gb ram... would this be sufficient enough (I don't have a sound card niether, is this ok? I know some things use the sound card Aux but some usb too....I know intel processors are better thats why I'm asking....thanks for any help
It's been over 15 years and I have all analog tascam 4 tracks, etc... but I sold all my guitars and amps and buying a guitar sunday... I been craving to play again....
====
Edit:... I checked out some of your other vids... and I learned alot.... so from what I see also my spark amp does come with a DAWs recording studio (which I'm not sure how good it is)...but what I really wanna do is also be able to sing as well.... so I'm assuming I should get the scarlett audio interface, I really like the price for what it does and comes with software too...I would go for the 2 mic/instrument one because it's only $159 as well...but my question next is how could.i plug the spark amp into the scarlett? (Because I wanna do live mic and guitar at sametime bit I wanna run all my effects from spark amp? Is this possible?...
I'm also going to be buying those nice 4.5 speakers u mentioned and my desktop pc as I stated above should be more then efficient...I'm also buying that usb hub when its available ....
You should make one video on recording Indian Instruments like Tabla, Sitar, Veena etc. That will be a great hit on your channel.
Thanks for the idea!
I hope you are ok but todays video,😀😀🙏I don't know anything about guitar but it was a nice video and a good deal for the guitarists.i will learn soon how to play the guitar
Thanks so much, Felix
thank you. I'm a beginning player (for years, still beginning :( . I just bought a Zoom GCE-3 Guitar Lab Circuit Emulator USB Audio Interface for $70 from Sweetwater. I can't wait to get my hands on a spark I ordered. Long wait times. If you want a spark, please do research before buying it.
Yeah, they are in super-high demand!
My own choice for guitar was Vintage Gold Top Reissue - super good guitar with Trevor Wilkinson mics and hardware
V100 is the model number
Can you make a video on Guitare rigue 5: how to use it well and things like that?🤙🏻
Hey there, can you run the spark amp through the audio interface"? Thank! Great video!
Plz make a series on mixing tutorials and also how to use looping for live play
Hi, what do you think about using the spark as an audio interface and not buying a separate one too?
How will I connect my electric guitar, acoustic guitar, drum, piano and bass into my studio?? What are the thing that I need for drum to record?? What kind of interface I need to buy to connect every instrument and vocal??
Sanjay your videos or just awesome. I got inspired by your videos. After seeing your video I decided to make my own studio. you are great
Hey thanks so much! What are you starting with in your new studio? Keyboard? Computer?
@@SanjayC yes I'm planning to build a studio, hmm probably later this year
Nice! Good luck with it!
Love that TShirt
Thanks :-D Credit to Varvatos
Also a Fellow Guitar Player and I suppose I probably sound a bit Old school saying this but I learned on a Fender style, and now have a Les Paul, One can Get a Decent Les Paul w Humbeckers, less neck tension, and well because of what i grew up playing i FLY on the Les Paul (less string tension, less total distance,.) Fenders are GREAT, just for a starter, I would actual suggest a Les Paul for sure, also because it allows for one to truly Model their sound before it even leaves the guitar. ( saved alot on pedals)
Another Great Idea, Run it through a mixer into your AISO,. I recently grabbed the PROFX12 by mackie, they have 21 Professional level, fx ( everything from Multiple reverbs including Plate, spring, and slapback( great for reggae , to flanger, and chorus effects as well as delays ) I have saved a boatload on peddles for my synths.. I originally bought it to route all of my Synths through, but what else is cool is they have a button on the mixer (specifically for guitars) that requires no preamp, and basically reads the signal as a direct inject would,
I am soooooo Surprised you didnt mention, AND I HAVE TO AS IT IS THE BEST BY FAR AMP ROOM PERIOD ( in my oppinion), and I have possitive Grids ---everything (but the spark amp i want that lol), SOFT TUBES BRAND NEW AMP ROOM,. and they FINALLY got the NAME MARSHALL on board... previously SOFTUBE had AMPROOMS that had different set ups where you can adjust where the mic is etc. and it was ''known'' the Half stack was suppose to be a marshall rig, but apparently all of the details werent worked out quite yet.
IN THIS ONE - You have Dozens of Cabs to Choose from including SUPER CLASSICS AND VINTAGE, its built just like their euro rack module, so you pretty much build your Perfect rig, complete with Pedals, FX, Compressors, Presence Enhancers, Not to mention if you own Tape, or any of their Tube tech, or if you had Bass amp room, or vintage amp room it moves some of those peices into their. This is without question the funnest and FURTHEST I have been able to sonically effect a guitar, either that im playing, or mixing. I mean....built in tuner,... and it Just recently came out. Dont like SOFTTUBE SANJAY? just playin.
As a beginners I so go all out, Ive had a few different guitars, and technically considered a begginner so i will openly state I have learned more on my Martin DX 1 ( i cant find many like it most others are acoustic/electric,. This is just your classic Dreadnaught, But i Have played them all Taylors are nice, Ovations are nice. Honestly I still would say go with a Martin. A good guitar is going to be expensive anyways. I looked at it like well do i want to buy one for when i get good too? ( sadly i think many people put their instruments down because they didnt get something that truly inspired them to begin with. The first set of turntables held me back like two years until I got my hands on a set of technic 1200s... sometimes it is the gear... and with acoustic I have noticed that strumming that thing(martin), even tunning it is a pleasure,. ( certain frustrations are kind of supposed to be there like with your first car so I hesitated when giving this advice because i also have very AWESOMELY made but ''cheap'' in the sense of name classical acoustics, and side instruments. What excites me about softubes platform is their processing algos, I have noticed that between Softube and Brainworks/Izotope, they have very accurate analogue, and overall sound production tools. As with Modular I tend to think that they will keep adding odds and ends in there to keep it current and 'dominant' Their Modular system. Brought euro rack Mods and sounds that most producers COULD NEVER afford to manipulate, and actually patch it, not just be a sound 'pack'. As stated their AMP ROOM platform is built the same way where you have a ton of tools you can arrange it however you want each Marshall Cab comes with a Combination of mics you can use, and combinations of using multiple mics aswell as place and direction, (apparetnly that is like a holy grail secret,- mic placement) esp for bass,
anyway hope this may give some one some use,.
Excellent recommendations!! So many good plugin options...so little video time! I love Softube stuff, but I have to admit, I haven't tried Amp Room yet. But I've added a link to it in the video description so others can check it out! Thanks, buddy!
The softube amp room plugin sounds good, but the plugin is clunky (you need to move the interface around to see the modules) and its very slow to load (i9 - 64 gb ram, ssd etc modern machine) - I decided to wait for a bit to try it again after they iron out some of the bugs.
@@SanjayC salute i appreciate your reviews bro
Cakewalk by Bandlab also is a good choice for guitarists. And it's free and feature full.
I've tried Cakewalk, I like it. But it doesn't come with guitar effects, does it ?
Nice to see a Christo
great video! Thanks so much! Love you other videos too!! One question. What if you have a pedal board or multi fx board? So guitar to pedal board to audio interface to mac to garage band or logic? I actually couldn't find any videos that explain in detail...maybe because it's not worth it? haha But I just need confirmation from a professional . Also I was thinking of connecting in this order. Guitar to pedal board to yamaha thr10x to audio interface to mac to garageband or logic. Is that possible? Do I need a audio interface if I'm using a thr10x?
Thank you so much for this video ❤️💗
You are so welcome! Do you have a guitar already?
@@SanjayC yeah I have one. And Iam really impressed by the spark 40. I'm gonna save money for this one man. And I can start recording my guitar wohooooo. Thanks for the video 🤘
Hi San
Beautiful video congratulations why don't you show us how to use equalizer and external compressors by connecting it to the uad apollo twin?
Hi, not the OP but - I own the Apollo Twin and I also have outboard gear, and you can only use outboard gear in two ways basically.
A-use them while recording into the DAW
B-record DI First, then use one of the outputs on the Apollo to send the signal to the input of the outboard gear, then bring the outboard gears output into the IN of the apollo and record onto another track in the DAW. So the DI track goes out of "output 3" on the apollo, goes into the HW comp, the output then goes into "input 1" on the apollo and gets recorded. Plus you'll need to make sure its still in time/phase etc on the DAW track (there might be some delay from the trip out and into the apollo - small, but will matter - some DAWs have plugins that let you calculate the round trip latency and applies that much delay automatically)
IMHO the Apollo twin having only 4 outputs is not that practical for outboard processing as you'll need to keep plugging cables in and out all the time.
Plus the UAD plugins are nearly identical to any outboard gear you might want to use so I have only used the outboard preamp-eq and compressor combo to treat the signal before it arrives to the apollo.
Can we use studio monitors as guitar amp if, I have something like amp modeller.
I agree, UAD interfaces + UAD plugins are a really good choice. It sounds amazing, far beyond others plugins !
Which one are you using?
Hello Sanjay, I love ENGL Retro 765 RT, my go to amp plugin. Great Clean and High Gain tones. I also use Brigade Chorus, Cooper Time Cube delay, DreamVerb. UAD plugins are dynamic, warm and so realistic. It's not cheap, that's right, but there are often special offers ! Have a nice day.
You're amazing Sanjay, in only a 10 minutes video, you shared everything. That's great!! Keep doing the good work, and you should have much more subscribers, you have valuable content on your channel, they deserve to be seen by more people. Congrats!

@@SanjayC I am a beginner in music, and I don't even have to go to school for music production, your videos help me a lot. Good work, I will soon start with covers, and your channel contributed to my training!

is there any way to use the Spark as an input interface, but have my audio output come from another interface i.e. a focusrite scarlett? i love the option of using the spark's bias engine, but it would be annoying to constantly be switching interfaces, headphones, and driver types.
Everything looks great and I recommend people who want to learn a guitar.
Question: which one of interfaith to a great sound please.
I suspect you meant "interface" - for guitars you want to make sure it has an Hi-Z input, or an "instrument" input. Most 2x2 USB interfaces from Focusrite, Presonus etc have them built in, and their converters are very very clean and have enough preamp power to get your signal into the computer.
Is audient evo 4 is a good choice for guitarist...please tell sir
Great video. I just would like to know the basics, but knowing what guitar and gear I want, Will give me more of an idea for the type of music that I want to make.
Cool! What's the next gear you want to get?
@@SanjayC maybe a Yamaha Pacifica or any guitar that costs less then 500 €. I am from Portugal.
Oh nice! Love to Portugal!
What about the HX Stomp? You can use it for effects and as an interface (can record a dry track and processed track if using the usb output).
Hi Sanjay, can u suggest the best and most convenient way to record the Spark amp with backing tracks on an iPhone to a PC or the same phone. Let’s say I don’t have an interface. See that the Spark has the USB interface but not sure if it would work with backing tracks from the phone paired
Sanjay, The MOTU m2 is a really great interface.. I think I saw it for the first on your channel.. maybe.. I don't remember.. :)
Which studio monitors you will prefer...jbl 305p or presonus eris 4.5 for mixing and mastering
Finally!!! Thank you Sanjay ❤
You're welcome! 🙏 What do you think of the Spark?
@@SanjayC I really liked it! It has every effect that I need in one little box 🤣
Hi Sanjay, Great Video. Got some useful tips. Thanks. I generally use a signal chain like this: Guitars (electric or acoustic) plugged into an Apogee Element 46 or 88 Audio Interface then into Logic Pro X and Helix Native guitar effects software. I have Helix hardware too like the Rack and Floor but prefer to use Helix Native while recording since its easier to experiment with different patches and sounds. I'll check out the Spark Amp, it seems to be useful.
How do you like your Helix effects unit? I really want something for my synths
@@SanjayC The Helix is a great unit in my view from a guitarist's perspective. Not having used tube amps and other amps that it simulates, I'm quite satisfied with the Helix sound and can get a very good sound out of it. But it needs a lot of tweaking if you are making a patch from scratch. It is however very user friendly and workflow is quite fast. If you don't want to tweak, you can buy professionally made patches, which save a lot of time. Then you just need to modify them slightly to tailor them to your liking and your guitar pickups. Not being a professional musician (I'm a lawyer in my day/night job:))), those purchased patches have definitely saved me a lot of time and effort. The other advantage is that the software (Helix Native) and the Hardware units like the Helix Floor, Rack and LT can all have the same patches (transferred using USB) so what you record using one unit or the software can easily be reproduced in the other hardware units/ software live. That's a big advantage for me even though i don't play live since I get the same patches across all my Helix units and Helix software. The HX Stomp is different because of the limitations of the number of 6 blocks, so more complex patches of Helix Native, Floor and Rack would not work there unless there are only 6 blocks. I'm not sure how the Helix would work for synths, haven't explored that as of now. Its an interesting idea. You can first try Helix Native for the free 14 day trial and see if it suits your purposes. There's a video of our band's song here and I've used Helix Native sounds for the guitar parts: ruclips.net/video/iehF9C_SK-Q/видео.html
A nice guitar plugin is the VB-1 I’m pretty sure it’s free and there are tons of presets and customisable settings!
Nice recommendation! What do you use to record now?
Sanjay C I myself don’t have a real guitar but I upgraded my cables and the volume issue when recording was fixed! Thanks for the recommendation in that, never would have thought of the cables 👍
Hey Sanjay, I've been watching your videos for about 2 months now and I'm all set up. I actually got the presonus monitors, they sound great, the focusrite scarlet 2i2, amplitube and I'm finally recording in my bedroom. Thanks a lot for the great information you share . oh by the way, any advice on VST drum pluggins? I'm currently trying some freebies out there but I've been experiencing some audio gapping and breakups when recording a guitar track on vst drums. I'm on a Dell laptop i5 8Gb . I've discovered that I have to build the track first, mix it into a single track to avoid audio breakups. Any more tips?
Thank you!!
Really loving this. Just in next videos I want you to cover Presonus Studio C series (24C, 26C) Interfaces
OK, I'll check it out!
I'm loving this video!!! I'm thinking that I need to start with a better computer/ guitar hahaha
Start with what you have if that's possible. You'll be amazed with what you can do with it
Presonus 4.5 are good (flat?) for listening Amplitube tones, while playing guitar? I would like to conect my guitar to my iRig HD 2; from it to my Mac and, finally, to the monitors. Presonus 4.5 are good to this? Thank you!
Hey Sanjay! , l am a guitarist and l will buy an audio interface within next month , l am thinking to buy focusrite scarlett solo, should l go for it ?
Can i use my femder mustang amp with studio speakers and have stereo sound?
I'm planning to get an M-Audio M-Track Solo/Duo, will the software package work with my laptop with i3 and 4GB RAM?
In the first place, I read the title as "Home Studio for Gujaratis"!
No pun intended ;)
LOLOLOL!!! My wife will be happy to hear that!
