I found an online retailer in the US selling the Black Castor and Flaxseed Eco Style Gel!!! It is a bit more expensive than it would be in a shop but if you really want to try it, the link is in the Show More (Description Box) above!
I love both formulas I get the same results from each one. I have even mixed them. I always loved ECO gels, they were my staples, but these 2 formulas by far are my fave and I will always keep them in my product stash. Your results look great 👍🏾🙂
I've used Ecostyler gels-the Clear but when these two new ones came out, I was only able to find the Coconut. I have to say that I was very impressed with the shine and the softness and the definition my hair had! I used this gel with Karavada Cream Brûlée and they play very well together! There's no stiff crunch or flaking-just super soft, really defined curls which I've never experienced before on my medium length fro!! I love this gel! So far, the best Ecostyler gel I've used!!!
Great video! I bought the Flaxseed gel and tried it on my hair and I was so happy with the results that I may not buy the coconut one. I bought mine from Beauty by Zara as they sell 3 sizes; 8oz, 12oz 16oz and 32oz for between £1.49 and £3.79 plus p&p. Blessings x
your hair is gorgeous. it did appear that the flaxseed and castor oil gel left your curls more elongated. I personally find that the protein in eco styled gels break my hair but I'll definitely try it in my son's hair. Love your videos 😊
Thanks for the response. Yes everyone hair is different. I do wash n go's often so I was just trying something different. Have you tried Camille Rose Natural CurlMaker or Uncle Funky Daughter gel?
Great video 👍🏽 I love the definition in both sides of your hair. I'm always on the lookout for the next best thing for my WnG 😆 I'm still mad I can't find either of them here locally 😑 Tfs ❤️
I tried the Black Caster oil and Flex seed gel and it made my hair so hair and dried out. I used a leave in and oil. I normally use Camille Rose CurlMaker gel.
I guess it all depends on your hair - everyone's is different! Mine was fairly crunchy but I took that as normal, since I don't use gel throughout my hair like that usually.
Hi Carol, the best video to watch is this one: ruclips.net/user/edit?o=U&video_id=hAZ1ktXVp54 But my recent faves are from this range: ruclips.net/user/edit?o=U&video_id=DPCMXomEHXw
Great comparison video, your hair turned out wonderful. Would you mind confirming if you allowed your hair to air dry naturally or did you use a hooded dryer/difuser? I tried the coconut gel, I liked the definition but had tiny bits of residue so not sure if it was my application (may heavy handed?) of the product or my method of drying. Thank you!!
I forgot to say! I air dried, I don't use a diffuser normally. I experienced a small amount of residue when I used it a second time but I think it was due to product build up because I did not notice that the first time around - so yes, maybe heavy handed or product build up.
Yes! I never use gel just after washing my hair and to be honest, I've never done a proper wash and go with gel like this. My usual styling involves twists very often so this was totally different for me - I've never seen my hair so defined either - I am enjoying the look!
It all depends on your curl pattern. Some people have a curl pattern and some do not. Gel does help to define your curl pattern if you have one but it won't create curls or coils if your hair doesn't have any. x
Great video!!!!!!!!! I always love watching your videos , I love watching them!! I HAVE NEVER TRIED ANY OF THEM ) : Your hair looks super defined tho , much love hun!!
Please don't forget to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE as always! As requested, here is the wash and go that you have all been waiting for! I hope you enjoy this video - have you tried both gels? Which one is your favourite? Comment below and let me know!
Hmmmm tricky to say, my hair always take ages to dry. I didn't time it, sorry! I did it in the evening and the next day, the ends were dry but the roots were still damp. It took a long while!

Your hair is absolutely beautiful 😍
I just got the black Castor & flax seed oil one. I agree with the growth claim probably being a marketing point.
Your hair looks Amazing! Thank you for this video.
I just love the way you presented this comparison review.Great job!
I really love your results and it definitely showed up the colour in your hair more.
Yes, it did! Thanks so much! x
Love the results, but your hair always looks great!!!!

Yes, I know that some people are protein sensitive so I wanted to make sure that I included that detail in the video.
And thank you! x
Ha! Honest review. I was wondering if there was a difference. I have not tried them.
I do try to be honest! x
Thank you for the video 👏👏👏 I was wondering if I should use them Great video 💕💕
Hello, good results from both I'll have to give them a try.
Thanks for the response. Yes everyone hair is different. I do wash n go's often so I was just trying something different. Have you tried Camille Rose Natural CurlMaker or Uncle Funky Daughter gel?
+Lynn Haney I've tried neither but I'm actually so curious to try them now!
Love your hair girl. I'm getting this eco style gel :) xxxxxxx
Thank you lady! x
Great video 👍🏽 I love the definition in both sides of your hair. I'm always on the lookout for the next best thing for my WnG 😆 I'm still mad I can't find either of them here locally 😑 Tfs ❤️
Never mind! I left some links below the video, maybe you can check them out if you can't find them locally.

Hi Mary, could you do a video on your go to staple products please.

Thanks Mary, unfortunately both of these links say "no videos found"
I haven't tried either YET!! Did you air dry or defuse your hair? Beautiful as usual.
I air dried 😊 thank your!

+The Curly Closet Thank you!
great wash and go!! I have never seen your hair more defined and it looks longer. Grow hair grow!! lol

This gives me hope for a was and go style which I have never tried! I just always felt my 4c hair wouldn't look very defined. This just might work! 😉

Your wash n go is beautiful. Which side is softer?
They both feel just as soft to me, no difference in feel.
Did you find that your hair flaked when you mixed the gels with the as I am leave in conditioner?
Trop belle. j'ai bien aimé le résultat. je vais essayer
+Regina Mascarenhas Merci beaucoup et j'espère que ça marche!
The Curly Closet moi aussi 😉

Did the gels make your hair crunchy?? Or dry?
My hair was pretty crunchy and dry on the first day and softened up over the next few days. This is just what happens with gel for me.
I'm curious, how did you dry your hair???
I usually air dry :)
j'aime fait ce que tu fait avec le gel éco plus cantu
