Played the hell out of UT99 as a kid. This was one of those tracks that really got your blood pumping and had your hand-eye coordination + reaction time on a godlike level. Rediscovering old UT music beautifully remixed like this is euphoric

@@nectoulin Haha you absolutely did though, very bassy industrial synth. Sounds like Burn from The Downward Spiral mixed with Into The Void from The Fragile.
Also, I love how two of the maps in the video, Liandri, and Peak both have Razorback as the music, nice touch.

Основа трека выполнена ну ОЧЕНЬ хорошо, все что можно было сделать - ты сделал на 200%. В 1:13 я чуть не упала, с 1:57 до сих пор мурашки по телу не проходят и есть еще куча моментов достойных внимания. Стоит ли говорить, что на протяжении всего видео я сидела в полном а**е? Отлично выполнен даже видео ряд, порт карт из классического торнамента, где звучал данный трек, в третий анрил - гениальный ход, я даже хочу теперь их скачать и играть на их потому, что они теперь будут у меня ассоциироваться только с твоим ремиксом. Единственное, что мне лично соооовсем чуточку не нравится, но я это активно одобряю - главный мотив выполнен "гитарным прошу меня простить это называется ритм-секция", если бы ты сохранил тот звук из оригинала, конечно ремастер бы не вышел, но работа потеряла бы часть авторства, в общем, это даже за минус считать нельзя. Самое главное, что в остальных НУЖНЫХ местах ты использовал именно звуки от оригинала. Никакая другая работа не показывает такого бережного отношения к первоисточнику, такого внимания к малейшим деталям как эта.

Спасиибо! ^__^ Вообще, кроме "ту-ду-ду-ду" ритм-гитары в треке больше нет гитар, мелодии и рисунки сыграны синтезаторами, просто отличными от оригинальных и порядком перегруженными, возможно поэтому они похожи на гитары %)
@@nectoulin Если будет v2 - автоматом поставлю 12/10, все на твое усмотрение и на рекомендации в комментариях, которые ты мог принять. В любом случае, большая работа уже сделана и ты выбрал правильное направление для этой работы. Кстати, после такой яркой звезды как Razorback будут еще ремиксы по саундтреку UT/Ureal gold, возможно даже более новые части UT?
@@VerunLagune Спасибо! Да, еще 5 треков по УТ99 на очереди, завтра будет большое открытие проекта по всему альбому, а после большое поле для различных ремиксов, в том числе первый Unreal, UT2004, UT3, Deus Ex и так далее.
@@nectoulin А вот это мне нравится. Если саундтреки в unreal gold и UT сами по себе были бриллиантами, то более новым частях серии НУЖЕН ремикс. Это лично мое мнение, но из всего хронометража UT2k4 можно выцепить только десяток годных треков, которые можно развивать, а UT3 не славится хорошими ремиксами на классику, но имеет самостоятельные треки, которые звучат неплохо, но я считаю их безыдейными

Yes, You're right, it was NU music (Necto Ulin Music) before, but then I've figured there is actually "nu music" as a music genre as nu-jazz or nu-metal, so I've decided not to confuse the listeners with it %-)

While I still prefer the originals to a degree (though these are still great renditions!), I wouldn't mind playing an Unreal Tournament that plays like 99 with a modern face lift while jamming to these remixes! I long for the old days of Quake, UT, and Tribes.
