My next UT track is really special for me. I'm really in love with these cosmic tracks like Skyward Fire and The Course, so I've tried to keep the most of original charm in this remix. I really hope I've succeeded ))

2008 - My final year in highschool. We had 4 IT lab classrooms all next to each other. It was near the end of the year and somebody was sharing UT on flashdrives. So during break (recess) we met in the lab to play. Everyone was playing SINGLE PLAYER vs bots WITHOUT SOUND because of firewall restrictions and the inability to install sound drivers due to domain policies.
HOWEVER...
I was good friends with the IT teacher, and I had administrator credentials so I would open up firewall ports to host multiplayer. xD. The next thing you know, more and more people are joining in. I had a massive unfair advantage, since I could install sound drivers when nobody else could (LOL!!!)
IT GETS BETTER...
At the end of the break when the bell went, I had to ALT+F4 my game, and because I was the server I heard a massive communal groan: "ARRWWHHHHH" coming from not only my classroom, BUT THE ENTIRE PASSAGE of labs XDXDXDD!!!!!
Such a legend ;p wow the schools were very strict in your country. When i was in highschool we had 2 hours of IT once a week and the deal was: who completed all the tasks can do whatever he wants (except watchin adult content) so we all rushed through the tasks and then we still had plenty of time to play multiplayer games:) however there were 2 IT classrooms a decent one and our was a trash one so we could only play quake2 and counterstrike. Being brought up on UT i could never play CS efficiently but i Owned the place in Quake some of my classmates couldn't even walk properly to not fall from the map and the teacher was laughing at them xd. Good times.

how wonderful/ vivid and excited memory describe ,even contains visual in these text.... it reminds me these old memory from when I was a child and play LAN game in my house with my friends...

Unreal 1 project? What like are you making a mod in unreal gold's engine? Or are you making Unreal gold in UE4?
I'm reworking the whole single-player campaign of Unreal with OldUnreal's modified Unreal Engine 1 ( Unreal 227 ) This rework will include some changes of the level geometry, gameplay changes, more randomness, new visual effects, new monster- weapon- and projectile effects and more immersive atmosphere.

Ah, Phobos Moon is the map I load up just to gaze at Mars rotating above me with this track adding to the majesty.

Well, you certainly captured it with all three. I like the name 'cosmic trio', it fits perfectly.
I actually really admire the original UT soundtrack. I love to listen to it while working. I actually wrote two theses just on original UT soundtrack. What bothered me was just the retro sound which is not allways so smooth. Your remix however took all the good stuff from the original and put it into new sound which has exactly the smoothness I was looking for all the time. I tis really very good job and you can trust me on this as I heard the original soundtrack so many times...

My UT99 "mission" to remake it all is also some form of admiration so I try carefully to keep the original spirit, well, sometimes I add some more own stuff %) Anyway I make it with a great respect to the genuine soundtrack :)

Christ. The Nostalgia. Dude, This remix is *amazing*, seriously amazing, as are all of your other remixes. The course was one of my favorites too. Whatever that noise/sound that cuts in at 1:21, I dunno, just gave me a distant space feeling, even better when the frequency picks up at 2:07. Unique and awesome, and absolutely true to the original.

@@nectoulin glad to hear that! For further reference, i mean when the pattern starts at around 3:04, when the notes change upwards (i think in the last 2 beats? Sorry im a noob at producing still) the bassline doesnt seem to keep up with the other instruments :p if you listen to the original in this part i think you will know what i mean. Btw, keep up with the good work man your remixes have been fantastic

I remember how surprised I was when they added a turret emplacement in this map, and also I remember the ammounts of rockets and plasma gun shots I ate when I was in that turret

Вообще, один из мощнейших уровней для UT99 - dm-phobos, где играла эта композиция. Смелое решение для 99 года - затолкать игроков на вращающуюся орбиту Марса, и реализовано не всем известным Клиффи, а неким чуваком под ником Inoxxx. И хотя левл, безусловно, крут, такой космонавтической атмосфере он обязан в т. ч. и Botpack #9.
Да, хороший уровень, хотел по нему побегать для ремикса, но для HD-разрешения он показался чуть темноватым и теперь уже угловатым, к счастью, в УТ3 нашелся тоже интересный и похожий (остроумно названный Deimos :).

Will you do an UT99-like remix of another UT (i.e. UT2004, UC2 or UT3) track? I would like to get the idea of how one of those pieces sound if they were composed in 1999 or prior.

Cool! Honestly though, requests are good and all, but I'm a creative myself. and sometimes you just gotta do what you feel like... If somebody was telling me what to do constantly I wouldn't enjoy my work as much. But this is just from my experience everyone is different.

Very nice! but a little hurts when knowing the original, i fully on expected the baseline shift in the end of the sequence at 4:05, instead of going C all the way i waited for it to do the satisfying shiver giving C......G#4>A#4>C if you catch my drift :)
