Botswana is definitely underrated, free education, free health care, highest GDP per capita despite the population, one of the cleanest, most peaceful, highest producer of value diamonds in the world, best producer of prime Beef, strongest currency in SouthernAfrica ......personally I think it'll be on par with Singapore and Korea in the future
Kenya is painfully underrated. Its not funny. Its one of the most diverse and well rounded country
Botswana and Namibia are underrated, it’s a good thing coz the people can enjoy their peace without Westerners going there to cause drama on social media.

Zambia is really underrated. It's political system as he said is really stable so it doesn't really get much conflicts ( physical) and tourism is another thing again. It has a lot of beautiful falls,home to the mosi-oa-tunya one of the seven wonders of the world.

No one ever mentions Mauritius. Excellent economy, well developed, very peaceful and safe, has one of the most powerful passports in Africa. They are some of the nicest people I’ve met too.

As a Botswana 🇧🇼 citizen, i would like to say we have never been colonized per se, it was only declared a Protectorate after our Three Chiefs travelled all the way to the British Government to lobby for protection against the Dutch and Germans who posed a threat of our Territory annexation...and therefore was declared a Protectorate resulting in a state mame of Bechuanaland Protectorate 🇧🇼, hencewhy the mineral resources were only discovered after indepence in 1967 resulting in us now becoming the world leading producer of Diamonds in value.

That was a form of colonisation, its only that they used a different name. Our people did not absolute power or right to rule themselves, thats why our uncles were forced to go to South Africa to work in mines so that they can pay tax. That was colonisation but in a different name or definition.
We were colonised. The fact that we had to "audition" for our colonisation doesn't change the fact of our colonisation.
@Jennifer_Your're mistaken. Colonization means internal affairs were controlled by the rulers. Movement, resources and all. Procterate means one's external affairs are controlled by the other. We still had everything to ourselves, kgotla system and all. Seretse won the case against unauthorized mining because everything was still under our control.

probably most of the African countries are underrated, so we always come up with surprises. That's why the world is always surprised. Africa has a lot of secrets within her fifty four countries.
Im a Ghanaian and I don't think Ghana is underrated because Ghana is well known all over the world.
Ghana is not underrated, but overrated...honestly Ghana quality of life and infrustructure cannot compete with much smaller countries like BOTS; NAMIBIA OR even Tanzania!
South Sudan represent! We are the world's youngest country so we have a long way to go but we have come far in such a short time. Plus we are the home of the tallest and most melanated people on Earth (descendants of the sun) so big ups to my people. Personally, i would say the most underrated country in Afrika is either Tanzania or Botswana. Both are such beautiful countries and people. Love to all of Mama Afrika's children tho, both at home and abroad.

Definitely agree with you when you say Lesotho is underrated,maybe because it's within South Africa so it may get overshadowed
As a Rwandan citizen the community service thing only happens once a month and it is not that much obligated to attend just people who want to attend do it and you can just stay home and chill the only thing is that all the shops and banks are closed till 12 o clock midday when the community service is finished.

I think almost every African knows south Africa and Nigeria, South Africa has been almost the only developed country i knew in Africa while in school Nigeria for music Kenya is also known now and Ghana depending on Internet now but the remaining countries we are underrated sometimes because we don't talk about our countries or because of the political issues that over shadows the good things in each country

Ghana is NOT underrated, infact Overrated.
Africans, Kenya is underrated by black people! White and Indian people love Kenya!! That's why they own the economy. Nigeria is highly underrated look at what they have achieved in music, movie, technology and education all by themselves. They even taught Africans how to dress! Nigeria is one African country that white people are scared of in terms of giving freedom to.

I don't agree with what the second lady or mother said yes i won't be bayass Ghana really have a good educational system in place but saying Nigeria graduates don't work after graduation from school is a big lie. Nigeria youth ranks the most successful entrepreneur in Africa we have successful entrepreneur from age 18 to 25 that are millionaires to billionaires in Nigeria and we youtg hustle alot we youth are the one driving technology in Nigeria we make money online not by fraud but taking advantage on digital currency, marketing, crypto then physically we owns companies and businesses u see we don't even care about our government anymore either thry provide employment or not u hardly see Nigeria youths protesting bcos we employ ourselves and work hard we are resilient and determined. But go to other countries u see thier youths protesting bcos their government aren't providing jobs u hardly see Nigerias youth do that not that we can do that but we are engaged in alot of business

Ivory Coast is way underrated. It is way better than Ghana in infrastructure. Senegal is another.

What the lady said about Ghana education is no longer the case, when I was in school, Ghana education was top notch, not anymore, the education system now is a complete mess.
Go ahead and destroy Ghana Education System because of politics. Ghana has some of the best High School Campuses in the whole wide world, better than America, Canada, Britain, France and even Germany. The Education level in every country is reduced because of specialization. Though Ghana education standards have been reduced, it's far far better than most countries in the world and is certainly top notch within Africa.
