It warms my heart watching you interact. Truly, a loving marriage, so natural. Two intelligent people.

I'm not from the South, so I'll defer to the people who were raised there.

Hound dog was written by 2 white people, and not written for Big Mama Thornton (who by the way did a great version)

@@bertsplci actually it was written especially for Big Mama Thornton. However, the version that Elvis recorded was nothing like the original, even completely difference. It was based on Freddy Bell’s version.

@@chimakalu41 Elvis would be a regular.. Elvis raised awareness and lots of donations for black children of poverty. He was a social member of the black and white community - played and prayed with black children. He wasn’t poser at all. Polar opposite.

@@TyrsPaladium Yes Elvis raised many thousands of dollars for starving black children on WDIA. This video paints a different picture of Elvis which was untrue.

Also, most of us (not all) but I am one of them lol, who have the view that Americans do not speak English properly! We conform to UK English, not USA,. And we're ready to debate that it's colour, not color 🤞🏽🤣!

Elvis will always be a poser to me...Elvis really didn't grow up in Black culture he would go down to Beale street and party with Black folk.

Yeah, Elvis only spent his childhood in a black neighborhood. Many of his best friends in childhood were black. The Presley family lived in other locations in Tupelo until Elvis was thirteen years old when they moved to Memphis.

    • @depper

Elvis was not a poser. Elvis grew up DIRT POOR in the ghetto. NO RUNNING WATER and NO ELECTRICITY in East Tupelo. So poor in fact that HIS stillborn twin BROTHER was BURIED IN A SHOEBOX. Please, educate yuorself.

People need to learn that growing up in Black neighborhoods don't make you part of the culture.🤦🏿‍♂️
