Can't believe you have not heard this, was a huge hit and another tune absorbed into pop culture. She is quite correct. This is a great tune but to hear them in their most intense, try them from Live at Leeds, do My Generation, They are at their very best, building into furious jams and Pete Townsend has some of the best leads in Rock History in that jam. They are just possessed and playing like their lives were on the line. Check it out and Rock On! Enjoy. 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶

All of the CSI shows use songs from The Who. CSI Miami is - Won't Get Fooled Again - CSI New York is -- Baba Riley - CSI Cyber is - I Can See For Miles

This song came way before CSI though, this was our music. Try "I Can See for Miles, Can't Explain, Magic Bus, Behind Blue Eyes".
If a person was born 1955-60's we heard ALL the music from the 20's on. Old film was still playing on TV so when we were really young we could see it. Footage of Billie Holiday. Big Bands like Tommy Dorsey, Duke Ellington, Cab Calloway. Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald and that gen. were still appearing on TV. We saw/heard everything! Buddy Holly, the Big Bopper, Ritchie Valens footage. One way or another. Every band had their own sound and The Who was one of the great rock bands. Most of the great rock bands played all of the different kinds of rock. The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Stones and the Doors, were the early great ones. All the groups had really their own sound. So many good bands back then. Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, Nazareth. Good rock bands these were later and a little heavier. At the same time we had groups like the The Animals, the Yardbirds, Faces, Fleetwood Mac, the Mamas and Papas, Pink Floyd and so many more! We grew up with such a wide range of music it was incredible, not like today. Classic Rock, Blues Rock, Acid Rock/Psychedelic rock (this was the best one), Rhythm and Blues, Folk, Motown, Funk, Country, Gospel, the Ballads. We had people like Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis, Harry Belafonte, Johnny Cash, Marvin Gaye, Linda Ronstadt, Dolly Parton, Janis Joplin. We heard it ALL. Real Bands! So many different genres. No autotune. There is nothing like having a real band at a party. Where they actually play good music and they play the actual instruments. Imagine when these classic rock guys started out they were probably practicing in garages, playing at house parties and bars! It was Fantastic! Music was like a box of chocolates, you never knew what you were going to get.
