I love the story in the beginning about the special bond that was created through the show! My husband and I have a similar story, but for us it was playing Star Wars Battlefront on the PS4. Sounds so crazy, but it was something that really brought us together in a time where our relationship was strained and it was genuinely a struggle to be "together". Great video! Thank you for sharing with us as much as you do.

I was so happy and praising God when I heard that all you kids were getting together for Christmas. That's what I call a God shot. I know in my Spirit that you kids are going to be such an awesome blessing to each other. It just thrills me to no end when I see God's plan comes together in young peoples lives...

Last stop is Tennessee, that is where my Daughter lives, and when she flew out in February for my Mom’s memorial the first stop in Reno was In & Out Burger! I personally don’t care for them but for my daughter we stopped. Looking forward to the Christmas Show. I watch both channels and you guy should have a blast there. Take care - Jeff

In-n-out is the best! Double Double animal style protein style w/ extra large neo shake! Every time. That is the one this I missed from California just be careful because you are in Whataburger country and trust me they are obsessed.

Cool , your personal story. For me & my husband, very similar- after a very rough 1st several years ( we both had very stressful family backgrounds & hadn't known each other long enough) we , besides my making sure we prayed together besides separately, it was watching Hogan's heroes & Phsych, & our chickens. P.s., while I've never had cable or etc. TV in a home I've lived in, but have seen it & loved fixer upper !

I live Jess and Miah. I was so excited when she announced you would be staying with them for Christmas. I love it when my favorite channels get together. Like your visit near Dallas, Roots and Refuge visiting Wholesome Roots this weekend, or when you were at Art and Bri's. It's so much fun. I just wish I was there for it. I live vicariously through so many youtubers until my homestead dreams come to fruition.

My daughter and I almost went there when I took her to school in Texas in August. But a storm was moving in, so I headed back home to California a day earlier. I hope to go when I head out to visit her in the spring, I’m definitely going!

It’s ALWAYS busy there! We’ve gone a couple times and it doesn’t matter when you go. Did you check out the spice village just down the street from there? My wife loves that place just as much as magnolia/the silos.

I don't know if you know about him but he bought a piece of land that was trashed and he's doing some amazing things despite some physical limitations. I KNEW I liked you! 😂 The customers for my business are often businesses making the farmhouse wooden signs (I make & sell the digital artwork) and I talk to them about branding SO MUCH. I notice that stuff too. Also... so happy you'll be with Jess & Miah for Christmas. Much, MUCH better to be there than in a park!

I liked watching Fixer Upper too but I don't find Joanna's style (at least her go-to palette choice) in line with my own. If I'm not mistaken, she relies entirely too much on whites, blacks, stainless and rustic, all of which I can't stand. With that said, it was a fun show to watch.

I agree with you about In-N-Out Burger. I even got them to make mine without the bun and it was still amazing.
I actually emailed them and asked them if they were planning on bringing In-N-Out to Indiana since I had heard they were. They said no. It turned out to be something like In& Out dentistry or something like that/ I was so disappointed. However, we do have some of the world's best breaded tenderloin, or so I am told, as I am Celiac I cannot partake.
Oh man! A dentist is SO not a fun alternative. 😂

Glad to see you are saving the best for last. In your Tn notes, list no shed conversions. Not sure why but I'm pretty sure it is against the law. That only covers pre-built sheds. You can build your own shed and convert it all day long. Now if you only knew someone getting ready to sell about 10 acres in middle Tn with a new shop, utilities, and 2 camper full hook up spots...
