Number of Hons. students is decreasing day by day in west bengal. In my college there are only two students enrolled themselves in chemistry hons. In this department there are about 6 staffs. If this trend goes on in future there will be no need of assistant professor in college and as well as the supply line of university for Msc will also decrease. So in future there will be only a few academic jobs for phd holders. And for research work our poor country need atleast 20-30 years to reach the level of developed country. So I think govt need to think about the students what will they do after the phd and should ensure about their job opportunity. Because giving atleast 5-6 years in your life should be utilised very carefully.
Today and especially tomorrow, polymaths will rule. V few will hire monomaths. Even universities are going for professor of practice.I am a management consultant, my views may be biased. @@shomusbiologyofficial What I see, During my Project in BHU campus, I met couple of Scholars who Pursue PhD in Campus they all are most indulgence in Professor Personal work such as Banking, Tipeen, Droping Medical Work, dropping train Station etc many more which generally work in Family. So in my mind question pop up They come for Research,give time for education, Study , devlopment etc. This reason im saying.
Hi sir, currently I doing my BSc. in Biochemistry. Which is better, doing masters in India or Abroad. I am interested in neuroscience. Is Singapore a good choice...I have also planned to appear for GATE exam.
better to do masters outside India bc here for full application of NEP 2020, it will take a decade or more.. n in overseas, people have been living in it.. so there, theres more holistic development going on..and research based too.
