- The Old soul is often the most coveted soul age stage. In the eyes of the Tao, however, one soul age is not any better than another. This video examines the old soul from the perspective that all soul ages are worthy and beautiful.
One wouldn't think a third grader less than a college student. The old soul is just studying a different curriculum, so to speak. In other words, the perspective between the young soul and the old soul may be significant, but that doesn't mean they are less valid.

My experience has been that most "old" souls do not even know that they are old souls. I have noticed that in trying to bond/deal with other soul ages (especially young souls) they eventually find the relationship wanting, pushing them to choose the company of older or at least mature souls so they are playing a similar game. I would not call wanting to be with those who "get you" being elitist.
A welcome corrective to the wannabe tendency. My rule of thumb is that they have a lack of self consciousness,(which they share with primitive souls paradoxically) . Also old souls dont seem to have a need to define themselves in a role., to talk about themselves . . They have left behind the compulsion of earlier soul ages to constantly try to define themselves as ' I am , I can, I have I should, I believe in, I belong to' ,like mature , young and baby souls need to.do...Thats how I identify them, by what they are not. It takes a bit of time though.

Well i think i'm an old soul, never got a channeling done so can't say for sure. And i don't think i'm smug about it but i am glad that i'm not in the anguished, hand-wringing stage of my mature soul friends over whichever latest calamity has befallen earth. And i'm also glad that i don't have any great compulsion to prove myself though i can see that it makes me too laidback at times.
Oh, yes. Laidback. When I added two desks in my office -- one for each foot -- I knew I was set. :-)
At the end, asking the question about "Old Soul Elitism" and what we think; I would like to respond. Honestly, it isn't so much that I want the superior tag 'old soul' attached to myself. I just want to get out of, well, hell. It appears that until we achieve "enlightened being ness" we are doomed to a reputation of angst . Sure, all levels matter. But it is all, as Buddha said "suffering"
Very well put, Dave. An exclusive attitude about being an old soul or not seems to create a psychological burden that doesn't need to be there. I really like how you mention the soul age distinctions are really just based on perspectives, instead of being something like giant and insular walls between one soul age into another. Just reminding myself "The only difference is perspective" helps me see that all other people are mostly the same as me.
I saw a Charlie Rose interview with Stephen King from 1993 here on RUclips, and I am in awe of the man. I don't care if he's in the baby soul age or not. He's very likable and I share many of the same interests and attitudes he does, ones, from what I can tell, that appear able to stretch across any soul age. Although not knowing him in person, he seems very honest with himself and is a delight to see and hear. He has some startling wisdom that is so refreshing and freeing.
Thank you for helping us discard soul-age prejudice and for pointing out that old souls can be arrogant.
Stephen King is an excellent example. Shepherd recently channeled him as 3rd Young, rather than the Baby soul designation from earlier channels. I think there's been some prejudice around him due to the subject matter of his novels. But I agree with you. King is an immensely likable and talented person, who has a surprisingly liberal stance on many social issues. I wonder if he has a high number of previous cycles under his belt? He's well-rounded and sophisticated. I've always likened his novels to riding a rollercoaster. Scary but fun.
Well in a sense, isn't the Old Soul more advanced? Wisdom overrides all Knowledge... And the accumulated experiences from past lives gives an advantage to the Old Souls. I think there is more to it, even lately. I feel like something is happening currently within our species, and we are evolving. I would love to speak one on one. Nice video, brother.
No one soul age not better than other but the more advanced your soul, the more spiritually advanced you are likely to be. And there could be harder karmas an older soul would need to go through. The older/mature soul likely to have more spiritual awareness as he or she journeys through life

Ofc Bernie Sanders is a young soul, and Marxism was a "Secret Waepon" created by German Kaiserreich to destroy Russian Government and Society during the First World War (please read some books). The Assumptions from Marxism only soundings good, but in fact they are stealing the Energy from people: enslaving them. Definitely not from Old Souls haha Old souls comes Synarchism (Vril) and they are loving Anarcho-Capitalism, but mostly they don't know it xD

Excellent video, Dave. Reading several books on this topic has led me to believe that this so-called "judgement" may result from wanting the wisdom that Old Souls possess. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. It's absolutely wonderful to me that every soul wants it. The time it usually takes though....man, is there no Red Bull for these kinds of things? Haha

Bernie is a mature soul while Ron Paul is an old soul.
I think that Sanders is a Young soul (loved by Baby souls), and Ron Paul Mature soul, but Old Souls like to listening to him :)
I guess Bernie is not exgotistically enough to qualify as young but rather early mature. Paul could also be mature, thats right, old would probably not stay in politics as long as he did.

Also - would love to hear your thoughts on the concept of "manifesting" soul age. As I recall it, in a single lifetime a person will experience a progression through soul ages until they manifest their true essence, and thus the positive poles of their overleaves including their actual soul age.

Aren't old souls considered to be positive pole among the soul ages?
I would equate something positive to love.
Love is like source, and fear is unlike source; both make up the foundation for duality.
Old souls are subject to negative pole slides just like any other soul age. They just have more experience under their belt to help avoid extremes that create excessive karma. What you're describing, I think, is someone who is spiritually awake. That achievement, however, is not exclusive to the old soul.
Being an old soul, lemme tell ya, it's not 'better' in modern western culture. We don't care about the things young souls do. There's a whole lot of 'been there, done that'. As noted, not all old souls are happy/shiny people ; we can be grumpy.
I am an old soul........I realize i am no better than the other soul groups- but at the same time i find the younger soul groups fricken annoying !!
can you be old and mature soul at the same time?
Technically, no. But you can manifest at a lower soul age. For instance, you could be an old soul level 3 that manifests at mature level 6. This doesn't mean you're a mature soul but you're readdressing some of those mature soul lessons. Perhaps your soul feels your current personality needs to reexamine an issue or two.
Michael Teachings Do you think a persons Numerology Number & Zodiac Sign is tied together with which soul type they are, or are those 2 things completely different parts that makes up who the person is besides which sould type they are????? I would greatly appreciate if you could help me with that
I have a lot of experience in numerology and astrology and regard those as maps of the personality (which changes each life time) whereas Michael Teachings maps the soul (which gradually evolves each life time but retains the same role, cadence, etc).

Are you quite sure Bernie Sanders isn't an example of a snobbish old soul? In his socialist, left-wing populism, I sense an unhealthy contempt for the young-soul activities of the entrepreneurial class. I should think it's healthier to direct young-soul energy into the marketplace, which operates by persuasion, than into the state, which operates by coercion. Well, anyway, that's my bias as a libertarian old soul.
Yes, numerous amounts of people believe that the Old Soul is far more "superior" by the mere fact that they have acquired a vast amount of wisdom and knowledge.I know each soul age has acquired an understanding of certain areas of life and come to accept some circumstances and have learned from it all(conventional wisdom, but the old soul is far beyond all of that. Further, people believe that since the old soul has the capacity to remain calm and relaxed under the most stressful and adverse conditions of life, makes them superior or better individuals. Reminds me of the example, "younger souls are drawn to old souls, like a young person is drawn to an elderly person, it is because of the calm energies that they naturally exude. You certainly know when you in the presence of an old soul." You should elaborate on King souls.

Yes, this is true. After reading the description of "king souls" president Trump fits right in there. I have a question, what personality type are old souls usually? I'm aware that they can be any personality type, but is there one that just screams old soul? I have a friend that is an INFJ and she seems to be an old soul to me.
You already answered your question. In the Michael teachings, all of the seven roles (or personality types) will eventually become old souls. It's part of the reincarnational cycle. Nobody is excluded. They just have to do the time, so to speak. As far as INFJ, that might indicate the overleaves more than soul age.

It's all definitely a trade-off. There is an ennui I feel for what younger souls still hold, that I see as illusion now. It's all OK.
