Yes, there is some similarity with the roles and the rays.
Wonderful voice and good cadence. This is a video I'll refer to again. I've read the Yarbro books when they first came out, and definitely recognize I am a M student.
I liked what you said about the centers. It's complicated because of the "parts", which I noticed you skipped, but probably more 200 level material and better for another video.
Because of your narration, I was able to relax and sink in to your voice refreshing all the material I've known for 30yrs! And I have a new thought: maybe chief features are the "engines" that drive the Law of Attraction. CFs mess with our approach to choice, and even the choices themselves. But in LOA, that would be setting up the contrast in order to ask for more of what you actually really want. Thoughts?
Anyway, thank you for these videos. I'm gonna check out the other ones on you channel.
Glad you enjoyed the video! The chief features, as you know, are based on fear. If anything, I would expect the LOA via chief features to magnetize us to the things we don't want. I've always thought balancing the centers might be more instrumental in the LOA. Most people can conceptualize and generate emotion around a desire, but they forget to take action.
Well done Dave. I think you've done a good job covering the salient points in a logical order in a lucid coherent way.
I wonder how well spoken word is comprehended compared to written word? Speaking personally, when I'm trying to absorb new information - especially new conceptualization - I succeed best when I'm able to read and re-read, re-check, flipping back and forth between pages. I'm more quickly able integrate all the info. Plus, reading forces me to focus.
That all said, perhaps there are many who prefer hearing a narrative.
Thanks, Mark! I also learn better through the written word. I never absorbed as much in a lecture, whereas if there was a book on the subject available, I could immediately grok it. But everyone is apparently wired differently. Some people prefer audio or visual stimulation over text. I'm okay with a little of both.
Thank you, Dave, this is a wonderful video. I also learn and retain information better when reading it. But since I am familiar with the information it was a great and welcome review taken in from a different medium. It also very easy to rewind and listen again. The visuals are so beautiful. I have to say that looking at the page with the eyes became too much, especially since it had the most information and the picture stayed on and on.
