Btw there is no right or wrong way to cook okra, slimy texture is the traditional way often found in African cuisine and there are also dishes with non slimy okra
Great job hosting, as a travel content creator based out of Charleston, it’s always fun to see what other creators eat. I have eaten at a lot of these places. Bertha’s is on my list but Lewis is my favorite bbq period. That green chili sauce Is so good. Love the shrimp and mystery beer at bowens. Worth the wait. 😊
Thank you so much for filming with us and taking us around. It was truly amazing and it was so fun to see your incredible city. Wishing you a blessed one, and hope to come back to Charleston again sometime soon. Thank you so much my friend!
Sir Anon thank you so much brother. Thank you so much for the support. Its been a wild couple weeks of travel and I'm just coming back now with some fresh stuff! Might be over in your neck of the woods in the very near future as well...
Always like hearing the restaurants History...adds value to the place...foods looks exotic too....and good to know beaches are near also nice aerial views....buildings awesome archtecture!!!....really great tourist destination. Nice as always. Thanks David safe travels Peace.
David! Another nice episode. But how can this 'Biscuit Lady' be so Thin/Skinny after eating these her whole life?? And i can't wait for your next 'Beardless' series as you promised me last week.. 😆
Delete this! It’s already hard enough to get a reservation lol. In all seriousness it’s probably my favorite restaurant between the food and experiences I have had there.

I didn't enjoy this episode of the Lowcountry. The food looked good. Charleston is one of the largest slave ports in America but, the food blogger could only find one Black Owned Business. The Black people who live in Charleston don't only make Soul Food.
Ahh I'm so excited to see the final product! So much fun filming with you!
