Having an Aquila Favonia is like having an R4 Blackcliff, even when the secondary stat is a dead stat (because Ayaka is using cryo attacks). Course, this is assuming the Blackcliff only has 1 stack at all times. But that shows how powerful base attack is.

Aquila favonia is considerably stronger than jade cutter. The issue is not the jade cutter which is probably the much better stat stick of the two, but the nature of cryo. With Blizzard set which you should use with ayaka and a second cryo in the party you have incredibly high crit rate already, making jade cutters crit bonus obsolete - whats left is okaish attack bonus and a rather low attack for a 5 star. Aquila on the other hand benefits from the very high attack it has. If you build your Ayaka right - aquila shines with 9-10k per hit in elemental burst, which is just sligthly behind Mistsplitter.

Just lost 50/50 and got keqing, saw your keqing vid which made me excited. Then I saw this and noticing ayaka doing basically double the damage. After checking both spreadsheets to compare, i noticed that Ayakas worst sword does more damage than keqings best Kind of ridiculous, or maybe i misunderstood something
Instead of all weapons at once. Split them into 5 star. 4 star gacha, 4 star craft able. Make the actual value a bold number instead of just a bar on a graph so players have a tangible thing to hold onto. Using percentages helps. For example beat weapon would be a 100% and then following weapons would be 100- the % they are weaker by. So like 94% for weapon 2 or whatever.

Well, the conclusion is it depends on what you're trying to do, as always.. But roughly speaking: 1. Mistsplitter 2. Summit 3. Jade 4. Aquila 5. Blackcliff
Not sure if it's just on my end or not, but on the spreadsheet, setting the Black Swords refinement from 2 - 5 makes it's value go to 0 and then into the negatives which breaks the formula.

Hey Alec I’ve been wondering what Crit rate % should I aim for on my character sheet with 4pc bliz? Right now I’m sitting at 17.1% cr and 289% cd. Is my Crit rate too low. It is hard to find info on what I should be aiming for on the internet as I’ll be gaining up to 55% and don’t want to cap I’m not sure.
45% is ideal. you gain 55% from cryo resonance and 4BS, which gets you to 100. with 17% crit you'd reach 72% max, which is rather low. I'd get more crate on your artis or even run Black Sword, you can definitely lower that CDMG for a bit of crate
You should take into account the lion’s roar passive for the melt comp. I know that Ayaka is not the one melting most of the time but when she does she do big dmg. It would be difficult to quantify without doing combat tests but I guarantee that it makes a big difference.

Yes, but with 4PC of Blizzard Strayer the Crit Rate is useless because with the 4PC you gain 40% Crit Rate, also if you have Rosaria is an extra Crit Rate from her burst and 15% from Cryo resonance so is a overkill in crit rate, at least if you use 2 Blizzard and 2 Gladiator.

As the video stated, energy recharge stats doesn’t shine in this list as it only compares dmg of 1 rotation. Test out your rotation and see if you need the energy recharge from skyward to cover the downtime. Most people would just use a battery cryo character instead of er weapon.

It is not that important to be honest. But yea, jade cutter can totally be okay on ayaka even with full blizzard, but it requires other substats, crit damage as high as possible, atk% and recharge and no crit rate. You get 89% with full blizzard set and 109% with cryo resonance so any crit rate stat will be useless. But if you manage to get god rolls on crit damage then it could be very good even considering that you are losing 9% crit rate
i thought itll be too, but then realised its like the crescent pike passive (phys dmg, useless in a cryo build) rather than increasing charged attack damage... I totally misread it.
Why is Amenoma always ranked so low in "calculations"? Some reddit posts for people who personally tried Blackcliff and Amenoma on Ayaka, Amenoma outdamages it.
just because they compare the raw dmg of each weapon. Among these, there is one that will allow your burst to be available more often, which brings a noticable extra dmg, but practically difficult to measure with numbers on the screen ;) These tests are biased when it comes to evaluate the indirect extra dmg from amenoma's passive.

Normally if your weapon is crit rate your circlet is crit dmg but doubling down on crit dmg with ayaka isn't a bad idea if your using the blizzard strayer set and have decent crit rate from your artifact sub stats

45% is the ideal crit rate for Blizzard ayaka. As long as you get there it doesn't matter how, either through substats or a crit rate circlet. In the video, for mistsplitter it's a crit dmg circlet on freeze ayaka and critrate circlet on melt ayaka

Yes, all atk% buffs work that way, they scale with your base atk (lv + weapon, white atk number in your Stat sheet)

yeah you don't need to change the refinements, because each refinement already has it's separate row in which the additional damage is shown

Probably not worth it to be honest. You're not doing 4P blizzard strayer anyway, so you need the crit rate. Weapon banner is risky too

realy good video again. but i think you mised out on one thing, wich is that primorial jade cutter does likely not only have 15/25 good stats cause her hp is convertet into dmg with that weapon well at least partwise
It is not that important to be honest. But yea, jade cutter can totally be okay on ayaka even with full blizzard, but it requires other substats, crit damage as high as possible, atk% and recharge and no crit rate. You get 89% with full blizzard set and 109% with cryo resonance so any crit rate stat will be useless. But if you manage to get god rolls on crit damage then it could be very good even considering that you are losing 9% crit rate

i thought itll be too, but then realised its like the crescent pike passive (phys dmg, useless in a cryo build) rather than increasing charged attack damage... I totally misread it.
Why is Amenoma always ranked so low in "calculations"? Some reddit posts for people who personally tried Blackcliff and Amenoma on Ayaka, Amenoma outdamages it.
I'm also wondering the same thing. I don't have enough glitters for the black cliff so I'm planning to craft amenoma instead

just because they compare the raw dmg of each weapon. Among these, there is one that will allow your burst to be available more often, which brings a noticable extra dmg, but practically difficult to measure with numbers on the screen ;)
These tests are biased when it comes to evaluate the indirect extra dmg from amenoma's passive.
Does skyward passive apply on cryo ayaka?
Yes but it deals physical damage

Normally if your weapon is crit rate your circlet is crit dmg but doubling down on crit dmg with ayaka isn't a bad idea if your using the blizzard strayer set and have decent crit rate from your artifact sub stats

45% is the ideal crit rate for Blizzard ayaka. As long as you get there it doesn't matter how, either through substats or a crit rate circlet. In the video, for mistsplitter it's a crit dmg circlet on freeze ayaka and critrate circlet on melt ayaka
