I have never trusted United since the 1989 incident in which nine passengers were sucked out of the plane mid air, when a piece of the plane blew off. They were never found. Also, it was a Boeing plane. At the time, United's Motto was, ironically, "Fly the Friendly Skies." Boeing and United, a great pair for incidents and deadly accidents.
Boeing 747-122. I had to look that up as I thought it was that smaller plane that lost a chunk of fuselage, likely due to repeated quick trips/pressurization cycles in its short range trips ... as if that matters. But those people remained in their seats except for a poor flight attendant that got ejected. Aloha Airlines 243 in 1988. Multiple injuries yet NINE? Whoa. Not the same and no idea why I didn't hear or recall your ref. Seems they never found a trace of those nine people.

My business iss located in the same town about 2 miles away. I have my lot fenced like an armed camp with cameras, lights and 24/7 watch. People just pull into your lot and help themselves. Lots of druggies here as well as homeless and thieves.

Where are older people going live when they are on fixed incomes? This is a huge disaster and the government doing nothing for them. They can't get a job anymore, Social Security hasn't kept up with inflation! Is the next group on the street going to be seniors, their reward for their lifelong hard work? I actually believe that they are more interested in opening a second canal for ships to get through than recovering those dead contract workers.
It is unbelievable to hear that punching someoen in their faces is a misdemeanor assult?
It seems that the US streets are full of potential criminals, exemplified that Asian people were often hit while they were walking in the streets in the COVID 19 days.
And it was called a hate crime
They seem to really yack it up on the airline stuff. We do not need a 8 minute report every time a plane goes bumpty bump or that the airlines are busy.
But it was turbulence! We haven't had that since ... uh, every day? Also it's been general advice for decades that regardless of the seat belt sign, best to keep them on unless up and moving. FOR THIS VERY REASON.
PS: as an EMT, the first rule is NOT to move accident victims. Flipping that SUV back up w/o assessment could and has in many cases killed, paralyzed or made things much worse. Should be a warning on what NOT to do instead of the fake "saved their lives." How did that happen? They only risked it ... but with the convenient omission of details, I suspect they weren't hurt much if at all. And imagine a pair of buff dudes climbing out a minute later? There goes the sensation.

The people in the car could have been injured and moving the car could have further aggravated their injuries, Be Aware.
Jose is just a little too theatrical. My advice is to knock it down a notch or two. As a former hirer and manager of news anchors, when the anchor gets too animated with hand gestures and so on, it can distract from the stories he or she is introducing. It also comes across as not genuine, pandering.

Emotion has no place in a news broadcast. It's understandable when something of momentous consequence happens, but in weather reports? Standard crime reporting? Accident reports? Just give us the facts and get on with it, don't use every opportunity to express personal opinion or engagement. Want to know how? Just go back and look at the pros like Cronkite and the like.
And while you're at it, knock off the "10 billion trillion people in danger of a snowstorm in winter" type reporting. The histrionics just make y'all look silly.

Why do you all refuse to post this program at a consistent time everyday? This is yesterday's program AFTER today's broadcast has already aired. It's so frustrating. I used to use your app but it was the same way. Now it requires my zip code and personal information just to watch the news. Completely ridiculous.

As for us here we are disability in Rochester Minnesota is very hot. The rain is getting so bad is expensive and we have a government help. The rain became so very high. Right? First thing I thought was what about the injuries the occupants may already have sustained that that kind of additional violent motion could make so much worse? Was the vehicle in imminent danger of catching fire? If so, the risk is acceptable; if not, maybe wait until their conditions can be evaluated by the pros and they can safely be moved. It's a tough call, and maybe we just don't have enough info to know the full story.

I watch a lot of YT. American-made videos increasingly use AI (I call them robot...) voices for narration. I don't like it. I either quit the video, or turn off the audio and watch subtitles. British-made videos know how to use real people, and their videos are therefore watchable.

I tell you, Im so very scarred of getting kicked out of my apt. I have a roomate and we are both over 67. We have been at this apt for almost 12 yrs. I just dont know where or how we could move and the rent has gone up now 4 times like clockwork. When will enough be enough?
In my case I know my landlord is making so much money ,it shouldnt be this way ever. We can know longer even get food the way we used to. I had to be admitted into hospital last yr and it was the first time I have had 3 meals in years. I didnt want to leave the hosp. Very wierd I know. I dont think I know how to do the homeless route so what do we do and where do we go? 4 apts where evicted last month. Will we be next? Im very afraid. Never thought Id be so afraid either.
My roomate and best friend of 30 yrs made a pact that if we become homeless we will un alive each other. I know quite afew older folks that have done or are going to do the same.
Soon, we wont have my generation anymore. Im very afraid.
