    To stop that lumpiness, make sure the bearings for the axles are clean (on loco and tender) and then also get some cleaning fluid on the drawbar, spray it into the spring area, then move the bar back and forth and spray with cleaner again. Then pop a little sewing machine oil onto the sliding contact area (near the screw). That’ll solve it. These old motors can run dead smooth, my one of this was £10 non runner, just the drawbar was full of muck! It crawls beautifully, is fine on points and curves, never cuts out and is very smooth. Like yours it’s very powerful, it pulls 10 old Triang coaches with ease. I wasn’t a fan of tender drive but when I learned all the little tricks like that, they have started performing so well I have begun to like them. Never let you down!

      @@dustyshelfcollectables the driving wheel axle - bearing - chassis - drawbar screw - drawbar pin are the main areas of discontinuity. As it goes back and forth on that spring it loses contact

    Will it run😂 spoiler you ruined the suprise in the first 5 seconds when It went accross the screen. More suspense required in the next vid!!
