If you wanna catch more CSX trains i recommend going from 5am to 12pm. That's when the most freight passes Palmer.Good catches. Thumbs up

When’s the best time to go to Palmer?
Daytime is usually pretty quiet except for NECR. The best time for CSX is early morning (usually 4-10) and NECR runs all day on the weekdays. There is also a daily CSX local that arrives in the morning and leaves early afternoon.

I think they come to palmer every weekday... other than that I'm not very knowledgeable of their "schedule"

I believe they are taken from a quarry up in Vermont and shipped out via CSX... I could be wrong though!
