They finally gave us a reason to use water breather potions
Well its also used when raiding ocean monuments if you're not aware
Yea, and night vision potions are gonna be really useful
@BİLL CİPER s brother u could just uses doors but u got a point still
With ocean monuments you might use those potions for the first raid but in late game you would prefer a conduit instead. With exploring caves you can't have the effects of a conduit everywhere so a potion is more practical in that sense.
You could also just use a turtle helmet, more resource effective.
When Mice on Venus started playing it was SO on point and time with Phil being amazed and saying "they did it", I bet we all felt that feeling of pride, Intensified by the music. Pride of where Minecraft started, And of what it had become this far. Amazing.

@@giuliab8484 We already have water breathing enchantments (not sure what they're called) and I think nigh vision can be made to last pretty long.
@@teaartist6455 it's called respiration and maxes out at 3, it makes you breathe longer in water and is how techno survived 4 minutes drowning and making fundy mad.

Yes, I know most of what there is to know about it except for the name but if you speak two languages, names can be a tricky business at times since sometimes the translations are very much not word for word.

I would like the creature to be invisible and neutral. It would do things like move blocks, sort of like an underwater herobrine. It could be debated whether it exists or not, like a Buzzfeed Unsolved type thing.
That squid thing we chose the dang was phantom over... it would have been so much better and less annoying

@@cooldud391 the stalactite ones. And there's the deep dark with the warden in it, it looked like it had different stone.
@@guscichoski the stalactite biome is actually in the game and you can check it out in buffet worlds--it just doesn't generate in regular worlds

I will like to take a moment to talk for everyone that the simple fact that caves not even two weeks ago were truly horror movies alone, you would get lost in simple straight caves. Ohhhh this adds a whole new definition to getting lost. One false jump into a water pool your L O S T. I am now happy but very scared at the same time.

seeing minecraft grow so much over the years is insane. it started out so small, with so little, barely any animals, no hunger. i feel like i’m a parent watching my child grow up. goddamn i’m so proud of this game.

I remember playing Minecraft and there barely being any biomes. Or having to play that tutorial in the beginning and trying to get out. It’s crazy how much the game has changed and it brings me a lot of joy and seeing Phil happy makes me happy.

So how many stacks of torches am I gonna need? Do I need to get potions before even trying to go for diamonds? I'm both amazed and terrified
That was actually my first thought. Nether is now less dangerous than caves. If you don’t have optifine, I’d recommend bringing at least night vision, possibly turtle and strength. If you aren’t comfortable going to the nether in iron, you can just enchant it or strip mine for diamonds first
Bring like a stack of coal blocks and 2 stacks of logs. Doors are an option instead of going for potions of water breathing.
You don't need any of that. Like literally, i got stone tools, used spectator mode to find a big cave, and then i was full diamond in no time. The only thing i would really recommend is dirt and saplings because you are going to stay there for a while
One shulker of coal and one shulker of sticks and that’s still not enough
or just download a fullbright texture pack :D

I have no idea why but this video almost made me sob. Like just with the music and Philza enjoying the game even though this game has changed so much in the 9 years I've played it was amazing. I think for a long time I was very upset that the happy times I had in Minecraft, the golden age of childhood, so to speak was over. But I think not only has Philza's content during quarantine help revitalize my love for this game that is apart of me. But also made me realize that being happy that those times happened over being depressed that they're over will help me move forward. So thank you Philza, and the rest of this amazing community.

when philza was placing the moss, the song playing was also the one used at the climax of "a tribute to minecraft" and honestly it was beautiful
appreciating the old of what minecraft is at it's core, and then the new beautiful update is incredible
